I got this from the generous Gin, thank you! I missed out on my birth moon and was really sad. I am very happy that I posted my desire to have this. In the bottle, I smell fruit, dark fruits, like they have been soaking in wine. On, wet it is spicy and still very sweet. This drys to a nice spice fruit and musk that i adore. A keeper!

Alice, something in that warm creamy tea scent is what I need when I am sorta pissy.

Red musk and sandalwood were notes I got in the imp. On me, this is so much sweeter than I expected. Really nice. Wet, I can smell that juniper and some bergmot. Dry, this is a nice, spicy and creamy blend, I think helped out by the florals. Pretty.

Wet in the imp, spicy ylang ylang. Very, super sexy smelling. This reminds me of the BBW sensual line that they had with the bath salts. This is a very strong, look at me blend. On me, YLANG YLANG. Not much more than that really. I wanted that cardamon to say hello.

Wet in the imp, so the jasmine is really wanting to let me know she is there....back down you bossy floral, lets wait for the vanilla and other notes to say Hi. Wet on the skin, still quite jasmine. I can see where other reviewers are getting the vanilla but it is so faint that I hardly notice it. Dry...jasmine all the way. This was actually going to be for a friend. I hope she likes it.

Wet, in the imp, gingery dirt, or loam I should say. I am getting baked goods on my wrist....plus dirt. How odd. Like I have a piece of fresh baked chocolate bread with ginger butter and I am eating it in a field of wet, freshly turn earth. Totally weird, and yet I love it.

Wet, in the imp. I adore white musk and was so sad when I got so much patchouli. On, not bad, just not what I wanted. The patchouli is very strong to me. I am not the greatest fan of that note so I will see what the hour+ drydown brings.

In the imp, I have smelled this before....where? This is a perfume that my mother used to wear....before her Knowing years, damn it, this is driving me nuts. On me, I am now smelling my Mom which is good cause I love her. Holy buckets. I will bring the imp to Moms and get her reaction. Beautiful. I wanted the entire collection and was concerned about the jasmine but it is either so well blended or in such a small amount that you are not smacked in the head with jasmine, like I so often seem to be. Drys to a soft jasminish smell. Nice, but I liked it better wet.

My name is Dawnya, so this is as close to a namesake that I will get, unless Beth releases Rebecca....anyway, on to the oil. Wet in the imp, I get a sparkly mint and palmarosa. I once used palmarosa in a soap that it was a huge hit with my friends. Sweet smelling really. Wet in me, faintly mint, more of that palmarosa, it is the grass mentioned above. Light, a nice different kind of oil. I like it.

Just two minutes before I checked the mail, I swipped Neo-Tokyo on, a frimp from the order I got on Saturday. I then checked the mail and Whippoorwill was waiting for me. This is Silk Road and Neo-Tokyo's love child. Spicy and clean. Not a lot of musk but sweet, fragrant cardamom and spicy bamboo. I love it. This is so close to being that perfect Chai blend for me. Later I will layer with Dormouse and see what I get. Thanks Beth!

Opened the lid and got a headful of Strawberry Bubble Yum gum. I was maybe 11 the last time I chewed that stuff. How in the world does she do it? I bought this for my sister who loves Vickies Strawberry and Champange, so right away I am glad for that. So terribly sweet. So wonderfully pink though. I had my daughter be the tester. It does dry down to a less sweet version, much like gum really, after about 7 minutes chewing. I hope sis likes it. Otherwise, off to the swaps!

In my mind, I was expecting a spicy, heady blend with a bit of the sandalwood. Those who know me know that I am not a huge lover of that 'incense' blend that some find with other {non BPAL} generic blends that contain sandalwood. Like many on this board, Beth is opening my nose to a much more broad world that contains the notes that work, nearly always with me. This is one of them. In the bottle, this is a rich floral full of spices and depth. On the wrist, that is when the sandalwood makes its mark, as well as the bergamot and some glorious musk. A gorgeous blend, perfect for me. This one does send you on a trip, back to the Baghdad before all the bs going on now. Thank you Beth

LunaSea said it, in the bottle I was so alarmed at the amount of sharp green that I did a double take of the label. Indeed, it was the 5ml of Eden I had so longed for. Remembering the other reviews that the green does fade in the dry down, I did a decent slather of the wrists. Wet, still very sharp green. Could this be the fig leafs? I so vaguely remember the Apothacary smelling like that so it has to be. Dry, this is the blend that I have waited for when looking for a coconut. Egads, I would shower in this if I could. Warm and fantastically sweet....a true winner. Perfect for the humid days of Minnesota summers. Adore it. A 10ml is on the wishlist.

Green and sparkly, that description stuck as I read others and thought...yeah, that is Envy. This is wonderful, almost aromatheraputic in quality. Very pure notes. This, made into a solid or spray and kept in my locker at work for those moments when the smile is slowly sliding off your face...and...you...just...need...a...break! This is it. I love it. Envy never looked so good baby!

A rich, bold blend of imperial rose, carnation, lush jasmine, lily of the valley, dark musk, amber, bergamot and gilded tangerine I remember when this came out that I wanted to try it, as a frimp I am able to. Wet, very strong florals. Like dripping wet strong florals. As it dries the dominant note continues to be jasmine and that lily which I never get along with. I ordered Baghdad because I wanted that beramot note. I think I will find it there. Pretty though. Strong Russian mama would be great with this.

Ah yum, THIS is what I wanted Pink Moon to be. Spicy and sweet and sexy...all right...... Awesome fruit in the bottle, dries with a slight bit of floral but this is fruit and spice and I love it. And the little brain made my little fellas day!

In the bottle this smelled pleasant. On, wet I was hit full face with....Desitin. Those of you unfamiliar with the product, it is for the bottoms of babies. That flash of creamy Desitin goes away and it replaced with an herbal cream that goes on top of the Desitin. Not getting any mango, fruit, lavendar...nada. I bought this for Emu so I am not crying too hard, but still....mango is a lovely smell when it comes out.

BRISINGAMEN!!!! Way too many men were loving that this weekend. I am wanting to get a bottle on the 1st and have an imp that I use too much. It is flipping sexy.

Silk Road and All Night Long

In the imp and on the skin wet, it is very nutty. Kinda like a filbert. As it dries, then the spices some out. I remember thinking when this was wet that who would wear a nutty blend. But, this dried is a lot like Silk Road, must be the cinnamon. I like it. I will try it out for its properties soon too!

This blend is sooooooooooooooo perfect right now in Minnesota! PERFECT! We rejoice in the warmer weather. Outdoors doing all kinds of things. To me, this is riding my bike through my neighborhood, past all those that have mowed the lawn, past the ladies planting in the front of their houses, past all the sweaty kids playing with dolls and bikes as the sunshine and flowers create a perfume known only to 11 year olds. I love it. I needed this oil. I am grateful for the skill of Beth and the crew for making me happy with a lil blue bottle. eta: a dabbed a bit of this over my skin where Graveyard Dirt was hanging out and it is super! Now Graveyard dirt smell like a greenhouse. Just like one.

What I love is that it is clear......CLEAR!!! I opened my mail as my 5yo little boy was bathing. I said to him, smell Mommy's new perfume, they made it smell like dirt. He said that it was no fair, that he has to take a bath when he is dirty and Mom get to just wear the dirty perfume. On to the review. Total dirt in the imp, this was sent to me from Finny! Danke! Total dirt on the skin, wet. It stayed dirt for a long time after it dried. I knew I would not need a whole bottle, but having the dirty imp is fun. eta: This, dabbed over Beltane is heaven. You literally are transported to a local greenhouse------whisk, just like that!
