    CCNow or PayPal

I always follow the advice in this thread for any order that I place, always seems to work well Not sure about the address, I always just let Paypal automatically include my address and don't mention it in the notes.

    Searching for the Perfect Vanilla?

    Seconding Tombstone, it's gorgeous.

    Where is this scent?

I think you can find it under Excolo The Gratiæ is a subcategory which falls under that category so to speak. Hope that helps!

    Geek

Geek is goddamn gorgeous! True, anything with leather works just fine for me, but this is honestly so wonderful. I love the warm woodsy scent before the leather kicks in and even then the leather doesn't take over, everything just mingles happily together. Most certainly yum!

    Snake Charmer

Snake Charmer is a much softer version of Snake Oil to my nose. It lacks the sharpness that Snake Oil tends to have (and which I really dislike), but I have to say that even though it is a nice blend, it doesn't work for me. There's still something in there that puts me on edge.

    Georgia Peach

Peach notes aren't really my thing. I actually tend to avoid them, but I got a testable empty imp in a mystery imp pack and so I felt obliged to at least test it once. A sweet and succulent peach scent, this is very true, but quickly turns into the artificial peach I always dislike. This is simply not for me.

    Amsterdam

This is really a lovely scent: fresh, floral and watery with some green notes peeping through. Thing is, I already have some beloved blends which are practically the same on my skin and this one simply doesn't catch my attention enough.

    Brisingamen

This was very light and stayed light. At some the spicy carnation did start to pick up, but it stayed too soft. The amber came into play after a while, but mostly by just going powdery on me. This wasn't a bad blend, it just didn't do much for me.

    Oneiroi

On me this is quite an unassuming lavender blend, but at least it works for me. I like how it goes slightly herbal after a while, but I don't get any jasmine. Just lavender and herbs. I actually quite like it.

    Paris

Well, this was just plain horrible on me. At first I could appreciate the strong lavender note, but as the blend turned a bit bitter and medical and then just plain sweet and horribly cloying I just couldn't help hating this. Such a shame, I love Paris!

    Sybaris

The pinnacle of wealth, luxury, self-indulgent pleasure, voluptuousness and sensuality. Bright violet with sweet clove, Mediterranean incense notes and tonka bean. This one didn't appeal to me much. Couldn't smell the violets very well (just a slight floral hint) or clove (unless that was actually the bitter almond I was getting when it was wet), this smelled overly creamy to me, like a regular face cream. Dry it turned a bit sweet and definitely started getting the tonka bean rather strongly, but I still didn't like this blend much.

    Tempest

Tempest is a light but firm blend. To me it's smells of nothing but the sea; a fresh slightly salty oceanic scent with an ever so slightly rotting wood note lying underneath. I think it's quite an amazingly accurate ocean blend. Not sure if I'll ever need a big bottle, but this still works for me.

    51

I would have written 51 off as 'not for me' if not for it suddenly morphing into a green scent with a strong smokey wood about an hour after applying. It's truly lovely and worth going through the previous stages of laundry detergent with a citrus twist and commercial floral perfume!

    Midnight on the Midway (2006)

Strong floral (jasmine?) with a touch of sugar on me, I can't really immediately detect any incense, but an underlying note suggests it's still present. I'm not quite sure what to think of Midnight on the Midway, in the vial it smelled very clearly of laundry detergent and I wasn't expecting so much floral and so little incense on my skin. I'm holding onto my imp for now I think, give it a second and third try. ETA: Second try: Okay, this is beautiful. Not only did I get an immediate and spontaneous compliment from my bf, but I just loved the mix of the clean flowers with the cotton candy like sweetness. I'm still missing the incense, but I'm sure I can live without it for now.

    Monster Bait: Tokyo Stomp

This starts off rather well for me. Both in the vial and wet I get buttery vanilla notes with a strong mint underlying it all. It doesn't quite remind me of mint sweets as the two main notes don't seem to mingle very well. After a while all the butter is gone and the vanilla is almost undetectable. At this stage I basically can only smell mint, which is fine with me until the vanilla shows up again after about an hour and a half and jealously pushes the mint completely out of the picture. Ai. I'm left with a vanilla blend only. I don't like vanilla that much, she's too pushy :/

    Privilege

This is definitely a mix of all the expensive perfume samples you can get in fashion magazines, it's very perfumey and a bit generic, but I'd have to say that the green and watery note really makes this blend stand out. At first it was very musky and ozony, slightly masculine which then changed into this incredibly feminine scent. Most definitely growing on me, but an imp is all that I need I think!

    Chaste Moon 2005

This was very light to me, barely there really. It also faded rather quickly. I mostly get fruity, white floral and coconut notes. It's nice, but I wasn't impressed. I can definitely see why some people call it creamy, but I get no butter myself.

    Bathsheba

Love this! Even though I initially mistook the plum for banana (this ehm... happens all the time to me. Well, I like both so it's cool) this blend really works for me. The carnation shows up pretty quick to give a spicy kick to the scent with the musk remaining a a solid note underneath the fruity juicy plum and the spicy carnation throughout. This is amazingly nice.

    Habu

Initially I rather liked this. Although it was slightly cloying in the vial, on my skin I got a fresher scent, slightly floral (for some reason) and slightly vanilla with a bit of spices. Very layered and therefore quite pleasant for me. Once dry Snake Oil alone pops up. Sad, I really thought this was a winner :/

    Death Adder

Snake Oil with vetiver, black coconut, vanilla, and opoponax. This was mostly Snake Oil (with the same sharp edge that I dislike) with a hint of coconut in the background on me. It's okay, but not really my thing.

    Priala, the Human Phoenix (2006)

I'm in lust I adore every single note in this, especially the cinnamon, but the myrrhs are just fantastic and the hint of smoke is always present. It turns a bit sweeter a few hours later, but that just adds to the charm. Glorious blend!

    Perversion

Surprisingly enough, I fell for this immediately. The tonka does make it a bit too vanillary sweet (quite foody in the vial), but then the leather comes out and it turns really fresh 'n fruity. Unique kind of scent, well blended and overall just very nice.

    Selkie

In the bottle this smelt sweet, almost cloying. I presume that's due to the honey and I don't really like it much. Thankfully that cloyingness disappears once the oil hits my skin and it turns into a gorgeous watery, delicate fresh floral blend, with some herbs layered underneath. I get a faint amber and fruit at some point too, what a lovely scent!

    De Sade

The essence of pleasure heightened by pain: the raw scent of leather. Of course I had to try this frimp out immediately on my boyfriend, it smells stunning on him. He even likes it, that's a plus. On me it has the same authentic leather tone, but much lighter and sweeter. A more feminine leather, how lovely

    Thunder Moon

In the bottle: full blown men's aftershave, oh my :/ Incredibly strong. Wet: it's still masculine, but less strong than in the bottle. There's definitely a wet and metallic note coming through which I both like. Dry: this dries down to a rather intricate amber, it's really quite nice. Overall the scent doesn't last that long on me, but something about it really appeals to me.
