  1. Okay, this is literally gorgeous- absolutely my kinda scent (not what I was expecting, which was something similar to Lush's Randy Butter Cream but it's wonderful regardless. But I digress), but it fades in almost an instant. Seriously, almost a couple of seconds after I put it on and I can't smell it any more. I. Could. Cry!

Roll on, o' scent locket of Trading Post!

  2. In the bottle: Oh yum-my! This is very sweet, it makes me want to eat it all up. Which, of course, I don't.

Wet: Still completely lovely, I can smell cake and strawberry and it's making me quite hungry. There's also a creamy background to it.

Dry: I know what it reminds me of! Victoria Sponge Cake! No wonder it made me hungry when I first put it on. This smells like the absolute, most perfect Victoria Sponge ever- perfect cake, perfect cream, perfect strawberry filling! I love it!

  3. Samhain '07

In the Bottle: Er, okay. Not really what I expected. It's a bit too fruity...

I really wasn't impressed, in fact I was so unimpressed I went over a week before I sniffed it again.

Second sniff in the bottle: Oh, this is a little different. It must be the settling, but it's much more spicey and there is something in it that reminds me strongly of alcoholic punch. And there's something musk.

    *Puts some on*

Wet: pretty similar to in the bottle. It feels very magical, I can strongly imagine this being similar to a potion at Hogwarts. Or alcoholic Pumpkin Juice.

Drydown: This is so gorgeous, it truely is the scent of Halloween. It conjours up images of witches and vampires. It's so strong and luxurious. A second (maybe even third) bottle of this will definately find its way into my next order!

  4. In the Imp: Oh holy hell! I now see what all the fuss is about- this is gorgeous. I don't know what I was expecting from this oil, but it wasn't this loveliness. Up to now, I am officialy in love.

Wet: Just as nice! I actualy bought a jar of Irish Cream hot chocolate the other week, so I could get an idea of what this would smell like, but this smells even better!

Dry: The Irish Cream is still very prominent, but now the dusty book smell is coming out. I literaly cannot stop smelling my wrist! A bottle will be bought, SOON.

  5. I wanted to try this one, ever since realising it shared a few common notes with Red Lantern (Aka Beauty in a Bottle).

In bottle: Wo-hoah. This is a strong one, not that this is a bad thing, of course. I don't think you share any common notes, dear Tiresias, but you remind me of the precious, Centzon Totochtin. And that is definately a GOOD thing.

Wet: Yum, let me eat now please! It's just so lovely, and dark and moody. The Centzon is still shining.

Dry: I can smell the tobacco now, giving it a smokey edge to it. The spices are starting to come out, too, which give it a hard kick.

Opinion: Blooming gorgeous! I need a bottle!

  6. In the bottle: Apples! It really hits you as soon as you sniff it. After a few more seconds, there's a sweeter background which must be the pumpkin.

Wet: Oooh boy! This is absolutely gorgous, I love sweet, foody scents and this is no exception. I want to eat my wrists up!

Dry: It gets even better! At first, I couldn't remember what it smelled like, but then I remembered: Christmas! Every year we go to my Aunt's house for Christmas, and when I was younger she would always use the same room fragrance, and this is what it smells like! But better. Gosh do I love this! I only hope that the new pumpkins match up, and I'm sure they will!

  7. In the imp: This is nice, very soft and sweet. Not that impressed so far, but I'll give it a fair shot.

Wet: Oh my god! How wrong could I be?! This is gorgeous. So caramely and sweet. I get apples from this as well, but then it's fair to say my nose often smells things that aren't there. I love it anyway.

Dry: Exactly the same as before, just a little toned down. Unbelievably nice, I must hunt a bottle down straight away!

  8. In the bottle: Oooh, it smells so magical, like it wandered straight from Mythology itself. I don't know what I can smell, but like it I do.

Wet: Dried fruit. But this is in no way a bad thing- I can smell raisins, cranberries and sultanas (yes, my nose is weird). How yummy!

Dry: Oh here is the honey wine! I can still smell dried fruit, but it's a lot sweeter now. I can still smell it hours later, very sweet and delicious. Bottle please!

  9. In the bottle: Oh my Lord! To me, I smell Hazelnuts and chocolate cake and cocoa. This is absolutely gorgeous.

    *Proceeds to slather on*

Wet: Just as nice as in the bottle, I can seriously smell hazelnuts now though.

Dry: Just as good as earlier, but I can smell the wine note now. Chocolate, hazelnuts and wine: can't get much better than this! Bottle needs to be ordered as soon as possible!

My favourite BPAL by a mile.
