    Titania

This smells exactly like something one of my nieces wears. I'm not sure what they wear, but it reminds me of a little girl's first perfume. Very young, light, girly, and sweet. Alas, it's a little bit too young even for me, and I typically love light and fruity scents.

    Thalia

Strongly getting the plumeria with a very, very light champagne undertone. Can hardly detect the pear, but I suspect that's because pear is such a light and soft scent in comparison to a floral that typically has a very strong scent with quite a throw. The oil in general is okay, but not wowing me. It's a little too old-school traditional floral for my tastes. The imp shall be passed along.

    Perversion

This is num yummy. I get the softness of tonka, plus a little leather. I can detect the crystalline chardonnay a little underneath it, which is rather exciting and sweetens it just a tad. It's like this sort of tinge of crisp brightness underneath something softer, warmer and yet darker. Odd description, but I like what this is doing. It's been on my skin for some time now and hasn't changed. Possible big bottle purchase.

    Death Cap

The entire time this is on my skin, it smells simply like pencil shavings. It seems any time a blend is described as earthy or has some sort of wood or dirt in it, all I can (or my skin chemistry, rather) can get from it is pencil shavings. Off to the swap pile. =\

    Aizen-Myoo

This is musky, tart, somewhat watery/juicy but all together very refreshing! I can pick out the black tea and yuzu the most out of all of the notes. I feel like I've smelled something similar to this somewhere before. It's very nice and appropriate for the hot summer months, but I'd still wear it year-round. Possible big bottle purchase!

    Horn of Amalthea

In the imp and first on, this is light, fruity, creamy and just a touch bit of floral. It's like Hanging Gardens, fresh Chaste Moon, and Mouse's Long and Sad Tale all mixed together. Very pleasant, gentle and comforting. Some of the notes in this blend tend to go plastic-y on me in other blends, but there's no plastic here so far. I don't get any of the vegetable notes, which I'm happy about. This is really lovely. Now that it's been drying several minutes, this really is quite a seamless mix of many great notes. I can smell them all sans the veggies but none pop out distinctly, if that makes any sense. This is so warm and comforting and pretty. I'm going to use my imp sparingly, I know that much.

Recommend some scents that remind you of animals

Hey, Juushika! The first thing that I thought when I saw the title of this thread was OMG HALOES. When I first put it on I said "cat fur" aloud. I think I wrote that in the review I did for it, too. The softness of it really reminds me of cat fur.
  8. From what I remember of it, I think maybe Dirty or White Rabbit would be similar to it.

Itasô Kansei Nenkan Jorô No Fûzoku

This is a high-pitched, "white" scent. Very flowery. It's slightly on the commercial side. It's pretty when it's dried all the way down and has been on for a while, but for the first couple hours it's slightly too screamingly white floral for me. The honey tries to calm it down, I think, but overall it's a little too much for me.

    Sugar Skull

I have the '07 version of this. It smells like caramelized brown sugar and oddly like a Hallmark store. I get just the very faintest drizzle of fruits, which keeps it from being completely foody. Not sure if I like it as a scent I'd wear on myself, but it is nice.

    Mme. Moriarty, Misfortune Teller (2006)

It's weird, in the bottle I can only smell the patchouli leaf and the red musk.. yet on my skin I get seriously no trace of those whatsoever. On my skin it's yummy vanilla bean, pomegranate, and plum. By some miracle, my skin is amping the notes I love. This is a deep purple scent, dark and fruity. I'm kicking myself for passing it up before just because I only smelled it in the bottle. This is going on the top 10 list now.

    Manhattan

Sexuality, power, confidence. A meeting of modern, sleek elegance and rich, passionate history: sheer amber, black leather, white mint, lemon peel, white tea, grapefruit, kush, teakwood and orchid. Mmmm, citrusy goodness. I don't get any of the leather or kush or teakwood.. just fruits and flowers balanced out by the tea. Don't detect the amber. I get just a teeny bit of the mint.. it makes the scent feel cooler. This is a citrus that doesn't go incredibly sour or cleaning fluid on me, which I'm incredibly grateful for because I love citrus notes. It's a great scent for summer. I think I may possibly have to buy a bottle of this. Thanks to the labbies for this frimp, because I probably wouldn't have tried it if it wasn't for them. Edited for scent description and a correction. =)

    Eden

Very sweet. I can smell just about every note that's listed. It's very creamy and comforting. It reminds me a little bit of shea butter, but more complex than that. Not sure just yet if it's a keeper. It's something I sort of wish I could eat instead of wear, lol.

    Tenochtitlan

Light, gentle, herbally/flowery/fruity, powdery. I can't pick out any of the notes listed. Pleasant and not at all bad, just unremarkable.

    Brown Jenkin

This really does feel furry and sharp-toothed. There's a smoothness to it that's creamy and buttery, yet there's a sharpness that's spicy. It's slightly masculine and very yummy. I'm going to have to keep this to revisit this because I don't usually wear this kind of scent, but I'm thinking of getting a bottle. It has a strange sort of allure to it.

    Wilde

Hmm.. I get citrus and lavender like others but then also some ozone. Reminds me of some cologne my brother wears. It's very nice for a guy - I'll see if my brother wants to keep it.

    Xiuhtecuhtli

If Lush's Karma and Thierry Mugler's Angel were to have a child, this would be it. I smell woods, spices, and citrus. Somehow it manages to be sharp yet subdued and delicate at the same time. I don't think I'll keep the imp, though, because I have both Karma and Angel if I ever want to experiment with mixing the two.
  18. fireflower

    Shadow Witch Orchid

In the imp it smells really sharp. But on, this is gentle and not screamingly floral. I smell some sort of red or purple fruit underneath it. It's a fruity-floral for a sophisticated lady, not for a little girl. I think I'll keep the imp for special occasions and to see if I want to eventually move onto a bottle.

    Shango

This reminds me a lot of Ladon, with something a little bit buttery behind it. When I inhale, I get mostly red, ripe apples. Before I exhale, I catch that something sweet and buttery. I'm not sure if I'll go for a bottle, but it's nice enough to keep the imp.

    The Lady of Shalott

This goes on subdued, muted florals. Once it's dried, a sort of peppery/spicy note comes to fore, which I think is the ginger. It's very odd, because on my skin it's like mixing my mom's prettiest, most feminine perfume with just a dash of my dad's Old Spice. I agree that there's something sort of unisex about this. It's nice, but not making me yearn for a bottle, so I think I'll pass the imp on.

    Antique Lace

Gentle, smokey vanilla amidst florals that I cannot name, but suffice it to say that they are elegant and gentle. Reminiscent of VS's Vanilla Lace but this has more of an only just slightly detectable floral undertone that I can't recall in Vanilla Lace. It stays the same scent throughout its stay on my skin and lasts a long time. Big bottle contender, I think.

How to make a paypal order.

I have a question.. which may be a dumb question, but I don't want to make any mistakes. I want to buy imp packs and a Whippoorwills shirt. Usually when I make a PayPal payment, I pretend to make the order in CCNow and then copy and paste everything. Well, it's letting me order both the shirt and the imp packs through CCNow and the shipping price is the standard price for lab and Trading Post orders rather than double what it would be. I thought I remember Puddin' saying something about Trading Post and the Lab not combining their shipment totals somewhere? Or are the shirts considered part of the Lab? And also, if I'm ordering both, would I send payment to the Lab's PayPal addy or to the Trading Post's addy? Or split them to both by the items I'm ordering? I'm slightly confuddled.

    Block Buster

In the imp and wet on the skin, it smells a little bit like what would happen if Lifesavers and Sweet Tarts mated. There's a syrupy element that reminds me of cherry Lifesavers, but it's also got a tartness to it. Smells like there might also be some sort of flowers in it. People have mentioned rose and jasmine, which may very well be it, but nothing is coming directly to mind.

    Carnaval Diabolique

In the bottle, getting a lot of the lemon, and something slightly peppery, it seems. Wet, it's sort of lemon cleaner with something dark, which I'm guessing is the black musk. I get the slightest hint of coconut, too. I'm not really digging it so much. Lemon is such a bright scent verging on cleaning fluid while black musk is obviously dark and dusky. They don't play well together on my skin. And now it's turning into lemon soap. I'm afraid this will not be a bottle purchase for me.

    The Phantom Calliope

In the bottle and on my skin, I'm getting a whole lot of black cherry. The other notes are in there, but I'm having a hard time picking any of them out. It's like the rest of the notes are teaming together and blending well while the cherry insists on taking the spotlight. It's reminding me of what would come from mixing Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke. Not really to my liking, unfortunately.
