    The Gibbous Moon

In the bottle, I get Cucumber + Moss, which is kind of interesting. It's a very dark smell, yet still ethereal - like someone else said, it evokes a moonlit garden. However, once it dries on me, it smells nearly exactly like Blue Moon. Whatever that prominent note is, it just shines through. Except there's a slight sweetness to Blue Moon that isn't here.

    Fairy Market

In the bottle, I smell nondescript florals. On my skin, the sweetness definitely comes through, and grass over flowers. So that by the time it dried, what it mostly made me think of was... sweet grass. Which actually I kind of dig. It does have a very ethereal feel to it. Actually one thing it kind of reminds me of is the Love Potions scent Fairy Massacre, though I like this one better because it's more sweet and the LP is more grass. But with both, I can definitely get why it's supposed to evoke fairies. A lovely scent!

    Crowley

Crowley in the bottle has that sort of nondescript leather smell that I usually don't care for. And then on my skin, WOAH LEATHER, plus something slightly spicy... at first whiff it reminds me a lot of Smut. I definitely get the hint of citrus on the tail end, and that Spicy Something that to me smells the same in Snake Oil and Smut and scents like that. Which makes me think that though this isn't MY type of scent, a lot of people are going to go CRAZY for it. :-D And there is lovely art of Crowley on the bottle! A nice smirk, and looking over his sunglasses with those yellow eyes of his. Bottom line for me: Crowley = Smut goes to a leather bar.

    Aziraphale

The prominent note is definitely parchment, old books... a hint of wood. It reminds me of "Cathedral" if you've sniffed that (which is appropriate). There's a strong musk, but it's a very light musk, almost wet. Like, if there were an "ocean musk". Actually, the sort of aquatic undertone that I get almost makes up for the lack of tea. As expected, it's a little too masculine for my usual wearing tastes, but I think that if I were in a certain type of mood (studying, going to the library, or heck, going to church!) I'd like it. But what I would REALLY love is to get this smell on a boy. It's almost exactly what I was hoping for in this smell, with the caveat that I would have preferred something floral or sweet to round it out. A hint of vanilla, maybe. But overall, I really like it. Oh! And for the curious (because I know I was), there IS separate art for each bottle (at least, there is for Aziraphale and Crowley).

    Monster Bait: Underpants

In the bottle, hello butter rum! It smells just like butter cookies with a boozy background. On my skin, it got a lot less sweet, more spicy... of course, sandalwood amps like crazy on me (I love the way that Eden smells in the bottle but on me it's pure sandalwood). So after a while, this scent is almost completely sandalwood, though the hint of saffron and vanilla actually makes it really nice. But by the time it dries down it's not foody at ALL. I'm actually kind of relieved that I'm not in LOVE with this scent. I still prefer Underbed.

    Storyville

In the imp, it smells very foody - like gingersnaps! On my skin, it mellows right away, making me think more of oatmeal cookies with a touch of cinnamon, and there's definitely something smoky in the background. It dries down to a sort of creamy spice with a dusty, smoky background. This isn't really my type of scent - a little too strong - but I can definitely see why people love it.

    Tamamo-no-Mae

I was expecting to LOVE this, because I love tea & ginger & Asian scents. In the bottle, I get tea + citrus. Yay! On my skin, it turns to pure... tangerine?! It smells just like something that I love - which are tangerine tea blends from Starbucks. Unfortunately... after a few minutes it turns kind of funky. I can't explain HOW really, but the tangerine becomes a kind of fake citrus smell. Man, that's disappointing. I expect it's just something wonky with my skin chemistry, because I LOVE the way it smells in the bottle.

    Blue Moon 2007

I was really excited about this one... with good cause! In the bottle, I get very watery florals. It's just lovely... extremely calming. Just from the way it smells in the bottle I want to wear it for my not-in-the-foreseeable-future wedding. On me, it's actually about the same! It gets even more aquatic, which is fine with me, and I can definitely smell juniper... and it's really starting to remind me of something, very strongly. Like, this is something I've smelled/worn before. After much thought, I've decided that it smells very similar to the Juniper Breeze B&BW scent (do they still make that one? I used to wear it like... ten years ago, heh.). Except, you know, better. It's like a cool day by a pond with lots of flowers and a nice breeze. Lots of blue flowers. Lilypads and those willow things. I like this a LOT. I won't be buying a second bottle because it's so expensive, but I'm not unhappy about spending that much on the one bottle that I do have. I will be keeping it all for myself. :-D

    Dana O'Shee

I tracked down an imp of this in hopes that it would be similar to Snow White, which I've heard. In the bottle, I was dubious. Hello, almond! Very, very strong almond with a hint of honey and milk. But on my skin, as soon as it started to dry, there WAS that Snow White note - I have no idea what it is since Snow White doesn't have the notes listed, but it's definitely there. There's something sweeter and fluffier about Snow White and I like it better, but they're definitely VERY similar on dry down. Dana O'Shee disappears nearly immediately, though, whereas Snow White stays and stays and stays. There's also something about Dana that reminds me of how Eden smells upon first application (though on dry-down Eden turns to mostly sandalwood on me). I think it's a great scent, better on than in the bottle, but without much staying power. And if you're looking for a Snow White substitute, try it out - though I think that the success of that has to do with skin chemistry more than anything else.

    Eden

In the bottle, this smells just like I'd hoped Milk Moon would smell - very creamy, with the coconut and almond at the forefront, as well as the fig. Ambrosia, I think would be a good description. I need to go back and look at what notes in Milk Moon are different and try to avoid them at all costs because that scent was just awful to me. On my skin, the sandalwood comes out a LOT, making Eden a slightly spicy scent. After it's completely dried it's nearly all a woodsy, sandalwood with a hint of fig and almond. It even reminds me a bit of ventriloquist's dummy - must be the wood+nutty. I wish it smelled on me like it does in the bottle, but it's still a very nice smell... I've got a bottle of this from a swap and I think I'll keep it around for a while, maybe use it in a scent locket. Because I do really love the smell in the bottle.

    Zombi

I'm worried maybe there's something wrong with my nose, because I get LEMON from Zombi. It actually reminded me at first sniff on my skin of Embalming Fluid, which I thought - hey, that makes sense! But then I looked back at the notes, and I have no idea where that phantom lemon is coming from. But in any case, to me it smells like lemon and roses with a spicy dirt note in the background. And? I LOVE IT. And I'm so glad I love it because I <3 zombies. I'll be getting a bottle of this with my next lab order. I think this might be the first rose scent that I actually like.

    Pink Moon 2007

It's... pink! Seriously, that's exactly what I get from it. In the bottle, it's a very, very sweet floral. Sort of like I would have expected Hope and Faith to be as sugared flowers, but much sweeter than I get from either of those. On, the floral amps a lot, but then on dry-down the sugar came back and it smelled a lot like bubblegum. Not my usual fare, but I actually liked it a lot.

    Clarity

Smells mostly of lemon and mint. I used this one during my exams, rubbed some on my hands and when I started getting flustered, took a moment, and took some deep breaths, inhaling the scent. I'd say it was very calming, and did indeed clear my head slightly. However, as a warning, the scent is VERY strong, and it carries. I used too much the first time and some of my classmates commented on the smell - not that it was a BAD smell, just strong. I told them it was lotion.

    Milk Moon 2007

This one totally did not work for me. Which was really disappointing as it's the first time I've bought a bottle unsniffed. I was very optimistic because the notes seemed to be RIGHT up my alley, but as soon as I sniffed it, all I got was a whole lot of fig with a backdrop of sour milk. And on my skin, it's ALL sour milk. Some people in the reviews about used the word vomit, and well... yeah, that's about right by the time it completely soaked into my skin. Heh, I want this lovely pina colada scent the others are talking about! Oh well, c'est la vie. Into the swap pile you go!

    Water of Notre Dame

Usually I really like these sorts of scents, but there was something a bit off in it for me. When I first smelled it, I just thought, water. There's a water note - but something specific obviously because water doesn't really have a smell. It was almost like there was something chemical to it - it makes me think of the way an aquarium smells. In fact, there's almost the hint of a fish smell about it. On me, it got a little more perfumey, it's a nice fragrance, but still really makes me think of a fish store. Recently I've gotten the same strange water note from Dragon Moon and Y'han'thlei. It could be something weird about me, heh.
