Oohh-- musky myrrh. This might be better than expected. On my skin it morphs to something buttery. I can definitely smell the honey and cognac. Ultimately, it becomes very dusty and full of patchouli. It's not me.

It starts out very aquatic and thick. Then it gets darker and even thicker. There is a bit of a soapy white floral, too.
-
Ugh. It smells like dirty, sweaty wine and roses that have rotted and gone bad.
But dragon's blood and I are mortal enemies. I should have known better than to try this one.
-
This smells like a dirty, boozy floral. Not my style.
-
This is actually kind of fruity, and green, and woodsy. Like juniper berries. And there's a coldness, a crispness to this scent. It reminds me a bit of Capricorn.
-
This is just kind of dry and powdery on me.
-
Mmmm..... apple blossoms The fig adds a sweetness to this perfume. There's also a green-ness...I think that's the hibiscus. Then I smell the soft lilies. I like this one a lot
-
In the imp I smell rosewood. On my skin I smell rosewood.
It eventually dries to lily.
I'm not sure if I like it. It's similar to a lot of other blends I love, but somehow this one doesn't grab me as a blend, despite the fact that I love a lot of the notes.
-
This was just too muddled for me to make heads or tales of the notes. It's floral--I've got that. Beyond just floral I'm lost. It's just too overly sweet and overly muddled for my tastes.

The dusty scents always impress me because I can't wrap my head around how something *wet* can smell and act so dry! I smell the woods (mainly sandalwood) when it's wet, and the flowers come out as it dries. The dust permeates.

Asphodel smells like a greenhouse: humidity and plants.
Then it dries into a nice, generic floral, and then softly fades away.
-
In the imp it smelled of incense and wood.
On my skin it smelled of geraniums (ugh) and wood. Geraniums and I do not get along.
-
Overall, its warm spices and resins, but thankfully no dragon's blood! It's a nice warm spiciness, with a hint of vanilla on the dry-down. It's nice but I don't love it.

Wet: orange & lavender. I don't have a good feeling about this. These two can be so strong and so overpowering.
Dry: It's citrusy/minty, and ends up smelling just of lemon verbena.
It doesn't work for me.

In the bottle, it's faint, and high, and once it's on the skin, it develops. The sandalwood comes out, and the calla lily and rose float on top of it. But the notes are all separate-- they don't blend together.
-
In the bottle, it smells of sage and herbs. I get a strong throw of mint, which might be the sweet pea. There's a sweetness to this perfume that is a little much. Too much throw.

At first I smell honeysuckle, and it's lovely. On my skin the jasmine comes out. It smells heavy, like spring florals coming out for the first time. It's a floral full of warmth and sunshine. It just reminds me of the first really hot day in spring. Sunshine, flowers blooming, and 85 degree temperatures.

... Her perfume is starry and crystalline, a jewel-clad and glittering paean to night: dazzling white musks, white rose and night-blooming jasmine with the soft moss of moonlit meadows, a waft of Egyptian incense, and a gentle breath of moonflower.
I can barely make out the scent, this is such a light perfume. It's very soft. I mainly smell jasmine and moonflower. This will make a lovely night time scent. -
In the imp it smells dark and woodsy, with something almost choclate-y in the background.
When I first put it on, I smell the orange blossom, but as it dries the patchouli dominates completely.

This was a gift from my fabulous SW.
I have a weakness for red nail polish, so Mme. Moriarty is a good choice for me.
In the bottle, it's rather pink. It looks a little too light to be described as crimson.
After two coats, and drying time, it darkens into a rich, deep crimson. It's shiny and dark and a very true shade. It doesn't tend to either blue or purple. It stays red.
The polish goes on smooth, and it doesn't clump on the brush. As I just put it on, I can't comment as to potential chipping or staying power.
-
It's very earthy, but the clary sage is a little too high and sharp for me.

Beltane 2006-- Greeny, herbal, happy.

This was an awesome birthday gift from my SW.
In the bottle, I smell chamomile. It tends to be overpowering, or perhaps my nose is very sensitive to it as a top note.
On my skin it's a gorgeous blend of frankincense and gardenia. It's holy and sexy at the same time.

Very fresh and citrus-y. I don't care for the tea and pepper combo. It's a food scent so I wasn't expecting to like it anyways.
