  1. Lavender and white rose come out first. The opening is actually pretty nice, considering I don't like lavender blends (but love lavender essential oil by itself). It must be the spices and sandalwood incense. The salt crystal note reminds me of the Air and the Ether. After it dries, it becomes a waxy skin scent. Perhaps the vanilla will come out more later on. Hold up! Drydown kicks back up, with a sheer rose vanilla frank. Very soft, but it's there. Citrus rose and incense now. I love this blend!

  2. Wet: burnt, bitter, vetiver-like. Copal, is that you? Google tells me chapapote = tar/pitch/oil.

Dry: corn, honey, cacao. Becomes softer, honey tames the chapapote. Honey isn't too heady.

This is balanced and soft. One of my favorites!

  3. I sprayed this once on my skin. The pumpkin came out first, then later on it became marshmallow with a bit of chocolate. The scent was light but really yummy when I sniffed my arm. It hit all the right notes for this foodie-lover. I wonder if I shook the bottle before I sprayed, would I get more of the chocolate? Anyhow, I'm thinking about getting this once my wallet recovers from all the Halloween releases.

  4. "It would indeed be a difficult matter to find anything which is productive of more marvellous effects than the menstrual discharge. On the approach of a woman in this state, must will become sour, seeds which are touched by her become sterile, grafts wither away, garden plants are parched up, and the fruit will fall from the tree beneath which she sits. Her very look, even, will dim the brightness of mirrors, blunt the edge of steel, and take away the polish from ivory. A swarm of bees, if looked upon by her, will die immediately; brass and iron will instantly become rusty, and emit an offensive odour; while dogs which may have tasted of the matter so discharged are seized with madness, and their bite is venomous and incurable."

    -Pliny the Elder

The copper tang of blood musk, swept by a cloud of dying bees and red poppies of madness, glammed up for fall with a swirl of cozy gourd-enhancing spices.

This one's a morpher! At first, I got pumpkin, spices, and honey. Then it dried down to incense and Coke and honey, with a floral bent. Then a few hours later, it's champaca-honey and dizzy opium poppy. I get the metallic blood musk notes now, too.
