I get beautiful, nutty, fresh-from-the-rice-cooker basmati rice when I first apply it, but then the champaca keeps getting stronger and stronger until it just takes over. I think I'd like the basmati rice note paired with something that isn't so strong.

I put a little of this on my collar and I was immediately transported to a glorious strawberry vanilla cream cloud! This is much better when it's not directly on my skin. It's not the artificial strawberry that is so prevalent these days - I think the orange zest helps.

Starts out smelling like chocolate, fried dough, and almond cookies, but ends up as nutty gingerbread on me.

Mmm, tropical fruit! The banana was an interesting addition, too.

Acquired an aged sniffie of this, which smelled lovely in the imp. On skin, it became baby wipes. Not TOO surprised, since Snake Oil doesn't work on me.

From Facebook: Chocolate + Pickles is a combination of three chocolates (for Zoe, Lilith’s chocolate lab) and vanilla buttercream (for Lilith’s fluffy white retriever, Pickle) Fudge brownie with chocolate chips. Not much throw or longevity and doesn't morph, but it smells delicious while it lasts!

Root beer + patchouli. Like Server Gremlins but more opaque, less sheer. I like it best when it's applied lightly. Drydown is a bit smoky and warm. Full. Vanilla without the sweetness. And a touch of something like soft tobacco. Large, warm, cozy, enveloping. Also a bit perfumy--the musk, perhaps? This phase reminds me of Odin. Powdery, deep, masculine but not bitter.

Lavender and white rose come out first. The opening is actually pretty nice, considering I don't like lavender blends (but love lavender essential oil by itself). It must be the spices and sandalwood incense. The salt crystal note reminds me of the Air and the Ether. After it dries, it becomes a waxy skin scent. Perhaps the vanilla will come out more later on. Hold up! Drydown kicks back up, with a sheer rose vanilla frank. Very soft, but it's there. Citrus rose and incense now. I love this blend!

Beautiful in the bottle, but dries down ashy. Unappealing sour, burnt smell at the end.

Decarbonated Coke/root beer and then marshmallow vanilla. Yum! This would be a bottle purchase if it didn't disappear so fast.

Wet: Honey and frankincense with a hint of spice and a vegetal note. Dry: peach cobbler. Drydown: sheer, salty, spicy apple. This is one of my favorites

Very, very fruity-sweet.

Tart apples and milk and then it kind of fades away pretty quickly.

Spicy, pine-y, and foresty. And then: bug spray.

Wet: burnt, bitter, vetiver-like. Copal, is that you? Google tells me chapapote = tar/pitch/oil. Dry: corn, honey, cacao. Becomes softer, honey tames the chapapote. Honey isn't too heady. This is balanced and soft. One of my favorites!

Watery at first, then green cologne. Very strong!

Subtle and golden. I don't get any dirty, earthy oudh here. Dry-down is a clean-ish, nutty and milky amber cream. Makes me feel protected and powerful.

Mostly lavender and wisteria on me.

This goes bathroom freshener on me.

I get amber, honey, then vanilla. Gets plasticky in the drydown, though.

Peppery strawberry incense. Rose in the far drydown. Really like this one!

Lactonic honey and ginger. Smells like a lighter Snake's Kiss.

Cloved oranges and incense.

So good! Dry cocoa powder wet, then lovely vanilla, sandalwood and myrrh drydown with a bit of cocoa powder rounding it out.
