  1. I didn'd review Gluttony?? :P

    Oh well then, here goes.

This is a scent i really reach for from time to time. To me it is the most strong BPAL i own(together with Jack)therefor I cannot use it on a daily basis. When i wear it the day after it goes to the back of my stash.

It's sticky, brown, sugary and there must be honey, because in the drydown honey is most what i get especially when i put it in my hair. It is a scent i love dearly for those days life seems gray and the weather isn't co-operating.

To me its not nutty at all, caramel and coffee(and Honey) are the prominent notes

  2. There are not many BPAL scents I cannot wear but this is one! On me it smells like a animal cage. Probably sexy for the lions to smell me but i prefer something less animalistic :P

After some hours it becomes more flowery, dried rosed and perhaps jasmine. Will skip this one

  3. First of all: I hate aquatics with passion. That said i was very afraid to try this one but again a pleasant suprise from the lab!!!! This is gorgeous, delicat, suble and already high up my top 10 list.

I smells exactly as I had expected Snow White to smell. Even my BF likes it, and as many of you know, he is not a big fan of the labs oils.

So on to the scent: white, suble floral and there is a hint of something foody, amonds perhaps. It's quite good lasting as i am having flu at the moment, I am in bed and my BF picked it from the post yesterday i dabbd a bit on my belly and inner elbows, I can still detect it 24 hours later

  4. Hmm i thought i had reviewed this, well guess not :P

Anyway, Sugar cooky is exactly true to the description, makes you crave those "shortbread" cookies all day.

There is similarity with Gluttony and Gingerbreadpoppet and if i have to compare them it's like light brown, soft sweet, lightbaked cooky(sugar Cooky) medium brown, sweet dark baked cooky(Gingerbreadpoppet) and darkbrown, caramel coffee burned cooky(Gluttony) From these 3 I like Sugar Cooky best! A cosy cuddle, blanket scent

  5. Not much to add on the scent/smell itself but the effect it has on me is kind of...weird :D

I cannot stop thinking about sex and I start flirting like hell when I dab it on. :P :D

Ehh dangerous scent if you are married girl... :D

ETA:Married girl....had a girls night out in another city, went to a bar and really lots of man where wanting to talk close to her ear(behind the ear was follow me boy)The married girl got a lot of phone numbers, it was something she was not used to at all,she never had THAT much male attention :D

  6. A master storyteller who possessed unfailing courage and compassion, a sharp, quick wit, and a true understanding of human nature. Saffron and Middle Eastern spices swirled through sensual red musk.

The stories of 1001nights are my fav so this was an unsniffed 5ml order.

It was an oke scent but not what I expected, so I decided to swap it away. Then I got another imp of it in a swap so today I use it again.
I like it, but some how it reminds me too much of "Joop" a designer scent I use to wear a lot, so that's solved why I didn't like it, wrong memories.

The scent itself is spice, sweet, longlasting and wafting. I layered it with Folow me boy, and have to admit.. it's quite sexy this way. Keeping the imp this time

  7. I am at the point that i don't want to try the unreleased anymore :D :D

Again I have fallen in love and this is not an quick crush but a hearthbreaking one OMG what a nice scent this is. It's how I hoped Snow white to smell like, or Frost Moon. It's minted flowers, but a lot of sweet mint that is not fading so quick as in frost moon. It stays creamy mint when dried down

Really, as soon i i seen it released there is a 10 ml order. Just hope the formulation does not change... fingers crossed and praying :P

ETA: if there is a little point what can be improved it must be its' lastabilities'

It's very very soft and lasted about 30 mins on my skin

  8. This is great! Like others have said: it reminds me a lot of Blue moon but as Blue moon is too aquatic for me, this one is much better. I love the mint/frozen feel of it. Also the lasting power is great and I ended up with my nose in my armcrock all evening and by BF declared me nuts :P

This will be a good early spring scent, with flowers popping out of the snow...

  9. Sweet flowers, Perhaps jasmine, behind there is something spicy, like someone mentioned, a bit like curry.

It make me feel warm and comfi although I do not really care for the scent. It reminds me a bit of Delight.

As for it's Voodoo properties, I am wearing it for about an hour and the day started bright and happy. I can do with some luck today as i have to start calling prospects to make sales appointments.... Update will follow on results

  10. another gimp that I wouln't have ordered based on the notes but i am very happy the lab trew it in.

Libertine evoces very romantic feelings in me, making me long for spring( while i usually hate spring/summer).It smells like the 16th century, and now they put me in a time machine and I am walking in the 21st century with the wrong perfume :D (like in those movies where they forgot the actor is wearing a digital watch while playing Alexander the Great :P )

What I smell is mostly roses and a faint hint of violet. It's about an hour now and it stays slill the same as when I put it on.

    Pleasant, friendly, soft, daytime

  11. Envy is my spring scent, but that can also be because last spring holiday i took the imp with me and now Spring memories are locked in the scent :P

    Also:

Water of Notre dame(mental note, need 5 ml soon)

    Sudha segara

    Katherine (innocent peach and orangeflower)

    Embalming Fluid

    Blue Moon

  12. oh oh oh.....what a scent! What a masterpiece!

I got this as a gimp from the lab a while ago and didn't give it much attention at first. I knew there was vetiver in the mix and smelling vetiver makes me not happy girl :P

This morning I decided to add it in my carry box. In the bus to work I sniffed the imps I took and....Kweku Anansi makes my mouth begin to water, my eyes popped open and before I knew i doused myself with it.

What a pity it's not released yet because it's worth a 10 ml.

I get wood, fir, thyme and perhaps juniper and a hint of something nutty. It's a tiny bit like Tarot: The World.

It last quite long and doesn't change much, only mellows a bit from spicy herbs to sweet herbs.

ETA:I got a lease car for work and the people who had this car obvious where smokers. to make it bearable to drive in it I cleaned the ash trays, and dropped some Kweku Anansi in it, also smeared the weel with a few drops... It smell devine now every time the sum warms the car. It is a scent to keep you awake and focussed and its not disturding or heavy(even the BF complemented on it and didn't sneeze.. and you all know that means it GOOD:-))

  13. This is good!!! It has jumped to my top 10 immediately.

Warm, sweet coconut with Musk underneath.

This is a decadent holiday in South France, St-Tropez, plage Kontiki, club 55. Old rich man drinking rum looking at girls in innimini bikini's pass by. Smelling of coconut suntan, sunkisses skin and... sex.

    Love love love :P

  14. So far Egg Nog has stayed somewhat behind on the other yule sweeties.

On my skin it's to dense, sweet, and lays flat without doing much. It dried down in a sweet vanilia and last in that stage for almost all the day But it's pleasant and wearable, maybe good to layer with.

  15. Love Rome! It's in the same line as Burial and Omen, but more rose/flover and less strong on Juniper, these are my Sauna/Spa scents. Herbal, clean and uplifting, in the same time relaxing. There is also a sinister undertone like a ghost from Victorian times just passed by, that's the rose... a haunted rose, the same rose that haunts Zombi and again, Burial. The kind of rose you expect on a rusty fence by an old graveyard......gives me shivers and the same time I almost cry for it's beauty.

  16. To me its sort of like with wine

When you start drinking wine is just wine .

After a lot of bottles :P you notice all different flavours even if they cannot possible be in a grape.

My first order they all smelled the same to me, a sort of faint sweet incence. Now I can tell them all apart. But there is a common hint in them that makes you recognise it from non-bpal oils.

Try using scent from different families, like the citrus ones or the foody ones, they really differ a lot
