Favorite Scents: Tamora, Othello, Cupid Complaining to Venus, Rose Red 2007, 13 July 2007, Red Lantern 2006, Eos, Alice, Dorian My tastes in perfume tend to run towards the girly and sweet, although usually more in a foody/fruity sense than a floral sense. (I make an exception for honeysuckle and the occasional rose.) I do like some woody scents, though. Patchouli and most citrus are not my friends.

    Dorian

For the first two seconds, Dorian is pure Pine Sol on me, but the sugar and vanilla kick in underneath it almost immediately. It eventually becomes a warm, sweet lemon, without any of the acidity I usually associate with citrus. The musks don't really appear in scent form, but just act as a smoothing agent. I can't detect any cologne, and there's only tea if I strain my imagination. This is lovely.

    Eos

Eos has been one of my favorites for ages and I feel slightly ashamed that I haven't reviewed it yet, because it deserves as much pimping as it can get. On me, it's mostly a gorgeous honeysuckle, with a very, very faint green undertone that allows it to be sweet and rich without getting cloying. As I think someone else said, it's a little like working in a garden, smelling mainly the flowers but also the stems (but not the dirt). It's in my top three, and as soon as there's a lull in the LEs I want to buy, I'm snagging a bottle.
