I don't know if my skin is really wierd, or I can't smell. I'm not getting any of the cedar/woody/masculine smells everyone else has mentioned. All I get is really REALLY sweet vanilla with just a hint of rootbeer. It does last a long time, though. Overall, too pretty and sweet for me. I really wanted to like this a lot, but it just doesn't suit me. It does smell nice, it's just not me.

my "nose" is still learning...so if ya'll say this is sandlewood, rosewood, red musk, and amber...then I want more fragrances with those things in them! I love this. It does seem to fade rather quickly (after about 4 hrs.), or maybe I just get used to smelling it.

    All Night Long

First impression was Cinnamon...lots of cinnamon. That faded to a really nice incense type of fragrance. Not sure what it is, but it smells good..cloves? No SO at the time, so I can't attest to the Voodoo properties of the scent. I'll probably use up the imp(freeby from the Lab...thanks!) and may think of ordering a larger bottle.

    Tintagel

I think that summed it up for me! I LOVE this fragrance! It makes me think more of Robin Hood than King Arthur...more outside in the woods with the warm leather and wine scents coming through.

Glad to know I'm not the onlly one who had the "Lemon Pledge" reaction to this one. It sounded really nice from the description, and it smelled good in the bottle, but on my skin...it went straight to Lemon Pledge. I really didn't want to smell like Lemon Pledge. Sorry my "nose" isn't very developed yet...I'll do better with descriptions as I try more scents and learn more!

How do you apply your BPAL oils?

I'm new to BPAL and got my order yesterday. Glad to find this forum and this thread! It answered a lot of questions I had. It may be an "old" thread, but there's still a lot of good info here!
