  1. A venerable voodoo blend, used for purification of the spirit and to amplify positive personal power.

This smells like lemon, vanilla, and sugar. Foody, but not overly so. It has a very short lifespan, though, and only lasted for a couple minutes on my skin and turned really weird on me. I don't even know how to explain it. But I was frightened.

However, I do have it in a scent locket, and it's still going strong all day. I like it, but I won't be wearing it too often, as I don't love it.

As for the voodoo qualities, I haven't noticed too much of a difference, but my day does seem to be a little less stressful.

  2. I loved this when I first applied it. It was all fruit and tobacco-y goodness. Then it turned to soap on my skin and I was horrified, this is actually the first scent to turn soapy on me, and I am really sad because I like it so much. But at least I have a scent locket.

  3. This is what I imagine a pirate ship to smell like. Not the pirates, though. They would be stinky, minus Jack Sparrow, of course. Anyway, it's like a pirate ship without the pirates. It's smells like the sea, worn wood, and soft sun-bleached leather. It's very comforting to me, so I smeared it all over my stuffed animal for when I go to bed. It fits him perfectly because he is a stuffed sea lion.

    ...his name is Andre.

  4. I never really liked rose scents. Although I always wanted too, they just reminds me of "old lady smell." I thought I would try it again, because this imp seemed promising, and I really like the name Harlot. Mostly because I couldn't wait for people at work to ask me, "What scent are you wearing?"

"Oh this? Hmm... what is this called? I can't remember. Oh yes. HARLOT. I'm wearing HARLOT. HARLITY-HARLOT"

Unfortunately this will not happen. Why? Because it still smells like old lady smell to me. :P

  5. This one freaks me out a bit. Oh yes, pun totally intended. In my scent locket it smells aquatic for some reason, but on my skin it smells like nothing but lemon and sugar. It reminds me of lemonade. I like it, I'm just very confused to the point where I keep sniffing my wrist, then my locket, then my wrist, then my locket. Pouts. I have a headache now. :P

  6. At first I wasn't too fond of this, which is a shame, because I like the poem. But I've never been into aquatics in the first place. So, I let it sit for two months. Last night when I was deciding what to wear today I smelled it again. I LOVED it. I absolutely :P it. I knew it would turn powdery on my skin, though, like all water notes on me. But, thank god I have a scent locket.

It's a sweet watery scent that reminds me of a woman standing by a lake, lost in sad memories.

  7. At first sniff, this oil was very unsettling to me and almost made me nauseous, but I put it on anyway. For the first few minutes I still did not like it, but after about an hour or so it turned into a really warm fig, and I loved it. If I could get it to that stage without the sickening first stage, I would wear it more often.

  8. I had bought a roller oil once at my local pagan store (by local I mean forty minutes away, because there is no pagan stores close to me), called blackberry sage. Baneberry smells EXACTLY like it.

I was hoping for a more sweeter and fruitier scent, but this is very green with a sharp fruity smell. Not exactly what I wanted, but I still enjoy it.

  9. A very pretty green and floral, but a touch of something mysterious. Gives you the impression of talking to someone who is hiding a secret. Hiding maybe the fact that they aren't really human...
