Boozy peaches. I like the idea, but it just isn't a scent that I see myself wearing regularly.
-
I love tree-y scents, so right away I knew this would be a good one on me. The musk really grounds the pine and softens it. Very lovely, and, like others have said, wistful.
-
I loved the mint, sadly it faded too quickly, and so, it was off to swaps!
-
This one comes out as mostly peach on me. Nice, a great summer scent.
-
Very green violets on me. Very sharp, too.
-
This one is an autumny hay scent. I think it would be great as a room scent, possibly layered with another autumn scent. On my body, though, it just didn't work.
-
On me this is pure apple. Can't dig it.
-
This one was very light and berry-ish. Sadly, it was berries of the variety that turn into bathroom spray on me...
-
This one is ultimately foody and dripping with sweetness.
The honeysuckle and cinnamon are the most amped notes on me!
-
On me, this was rosy, incensey and spicy. I swapped it away but can't wait to get ahold of another imp:)
-
Juicy, slightly boozy pomegranate. Definitely a scent for a fun mood!
-
As everyone else has said, this one is very very smoky. I wonder what would happen if you layered it with a leather or some such scent!
-
I tried this a year or two ago and loved it, but then it became sickly sweet on me. I am happy to say that I just got an imp of it in the mail yesterday, tried it and it was delicious!
Very warm and foody. Spicy and delicious!

Smells like a doll I had when I was a child. Some sort of sweet cherry scent. I think it's almond, though. I almost always associate cherry with almond.
-
Very woody, light, and is that apple? I rarely wear this, but am always thrilled when I do:)
-
I can't smell the coconut in this one, but I love it. Something almost fruity about this, but I can't put a name on it.The warmth of Dragon's Blood meets something cool and aquatic and striked a lovely balance.

I bring mine in a carryon. They don't get any more shaken up than they would in the mail. Often less so. I've never had leakage!

I personally find Wildfire and Living Flame very different. Wildfire is sort of "higher pitched" or something. Can't quite explain it... but I'll check out Othello, and perhaps try The Lovers again.
!
The Living Flame is to me the child of Othello and Wildfire. Wildfire's another LE; I found Living Flame to be a pale imitation. Othello doesn't have the dragon's blood but it has a similar feel, just done much better. -
Additionally, I'm looking to find a non-LE sibling to Living Flame. Any suggestions?
(already saw the Venom rec.- not into lime)

I found Arkham Revisited to smell alot like Pink Moon to me.
But, that could be just me. Plus, they're both LEs.
does anyone have a recomendation for something similar to Arkham Revisited? i adore it, but i will run out quickly as it doesn't stay for long on my skin (woe is me!)....n.

My Mom likes Shalimar. People have recommended Haunted to me. My mom has enjoyed it.

Wow!
I am so glad I went beyond sniffing it in the bottle.
In the bottle: Popcorn Jelly Belly Jelly Beans
On and dried down... an amazingly creamy, spicy scent.
Something in it also reminded me of those old fashioned hard candy sticks with swirling colors. Maybe this has an old fashioned herb or spice in it. Anyway, I love it!

The initial note, which shelldoo speaks of, is what hooked me on this fragrance.
It turns out, according to Beth, that spicy herbal smell in the imp and first on is a mixture of the herbs/spices and saffron used in the oil.
Sadly, for me, that was the part I loved in the oil, and it dried down on me to something different very quickly.

Black Forest has this womanly note to it. I can't recall if it's musk, amber or sandalwood... or, none of the above?

This is an antique rose scent that gives me comfort and a warm feeling. I have a hard time finding rose scents that arent overbearing or haunting. This one is great!
