    Snake Oil

By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla. I think this came as a frimp in an order in 2011ish. In bottle: smells like patchouli and vanilla, a bit smokey. On skin: the vanilla is really showing up. After a few hours: really strong vanilla I will probably offer this up for a swap, as vanilla is a scent I really dislike in scented products.

    Yggdrasil

A frimp from 2011 or about that time. In bottle: really medicinal On skin: herby and still medicinal. After a few hours: this has turned vaguely floral on me; it smells like my aunt's house, weirdly. I probably won't keep this.

    The Grave-Pig

I think this imp is from 2011, it was a frimp if I recall correctly. In bottle: mushrooms! Very earthy. On skin: this smells kind of like a basement, but not in an unpleasant way? Still very earthy. After a few hours: earthy and warm. I probably will offer this up for a swap.

    Envy

This is an old imp, possibly from 2011. In bottle: very strong minty menthol scent; smells like vix or eucalyptus. On skin: not much changes, but I can smell the lime more. After a few hours: this has faded Will probably offer this up for a swap.

'Tis The Voice Of The Lobster

An imp from around 2011. This sounds like something I will like. In bottle: strawberry bubblegum. On skin: even stronger; still smells like strawberry bubblegum. After a few hours: the strawberry bubblegum scent is pretty much all I can smell. I like it in theory; it's a nice smell (I like strawberry bubblegum!), but it's not one that I personally want to smell like. Probably will not be keeping this imp.

    Horn of Plenty

An imp from 2011 I believe. In bottle: cherry cough syrup... I don't like it very much but maybe my skin will change it. On skin: still cough syrup. After a few hours: Can't get it to really smell like anything OTHER than cherry sough syrup. I'll be swapping this imp; it doesn't really work for me.

    Death on a Pale Horse

An imp from 2011ish. In bottle: smells exactly like a hair salon to me. On skin: can definitely smell the patchouli. After a few hours: unfortunately, on me the patchouli overwhelms any other scent. This one I think I'll swap, as patchouli isn't a scent I particularly enjoy.

    Danse Macabre

An imp from 2011 I believe. In bottle: I can't really pick out the scents in this. Sharp and aggressive. On skin: This has a menthol scent to it; it smells like vicks vaporub, but with a woody overtone. After a few hours: mellowed out into just woody scent, with a bit of what I think is the toasted hazelnuts. I think this imp is destined for swapping.

    Schrodinger's Cat

This is an imp from 2015. First chocolate scent from BPAL I'm trying, and I have high hopes. In bottle: citrus and lavender, with vague mint On skin: maybe I'm smelling the oakmoss? I'm not sure. It's kind of strange and I don't know if I like it. After a few hours: this smells too watery for me I think. I may swamp the imp away, haven't decided quite yet. I keep hanging onto it because the scent has so much potential, but I think it just doesn't work great on my skin unfortunately.

    The Chicken-Legged Hut

I don't know when this imp is from- probably sometime around 2011. I believe it was a frimp, but the wood and sun dried thatch seems promising. In bottle: herby, spicy, a bit medicinal; after it airs out for a couple seconds it smells like yummy wood On skin: this smells nearly exactly like a country store in a hilltown near me. Weird. Warm spices and wood! After a few hours: still smells very woody and warm spice-y. I'll keep the imp, and if I come across a full bottle I might buy or swap for it.

La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente

Reopening a 2015 imp! I love roses, pomegranates, and peach, so I'm hoping for good things. In bottle: bright and fruity On skin: the rose is really coming forward but has a backing of some sort of greenery After a few hours: this smells really sweet and lovely. Very floral, mostly rose, but more complex. I'll keep the imp for sure, and I'm thinking about trying to get a full bottle.

    Bayou

A lazy, warm deep green scent with a thick aquatic undertone: Spanish moss, evergreen and cypress with watery blue-green notes and an eddy of hothouse flowers and swamp blooms. This is an imp from 2015. I think I was excited to try it because of the hothouse flowers, plus thematically I love swamps and bogs and bayous. In bottle: very floral and watery On skin: still really floral, reminds me of a greenhouse and water After a few hours: definitely still smells greenhouse-y, which is nice. Overall it's not my favorite but I don't hate it. I'll keep the imp and maybe someday consider a full bottle.

    Arkham

This is an imp from 2015. Arkham was a scent I was excited for, as I've lived in New England my whole life, particularly in the woods. In bottle: sweet sweet florals, with a whiff of bubblegum? On skin: still mostly florals. Weirdly when I breathe it in deeply it almost reminds me of the cabin we used to stay at on the Cape as young kids, it was way out in the woods but on a lil pond with a tiny beach. A bit soapy After a few hours: floral! I dig it. Definitely keeping the imp, and considering a full bottle in the future.

    Elf

I'm reopening an imp from I believe 2011. Elf was one that I was extremely excited for, as elves are just very on brand with my aesthetic. I also dabble in DnD, but I mostly listen to Adventure Zone and watch Critical Role, and elves tend to be my favorite characters in those. I'm interested in trying more of the RPG scents but this is the only one I currently have. In bottle: PINE On skin: the pine definitely calmed down on my skin; it's still there in the background. The main scent is something I can't quite put my finger on- almost foody? I would say vanilla but I usually hate vanilla scents, this is more of a creaminess. This is probably the musk or honeycomb or amber? After a few hours: floral, but faded. It doesn't stick around long on my skin. I wish the pine stayed a bit stronger as I definitely associate pine with elves! I'll be keeping the imp, and will consider a full bottle, depending on how I feel about other RPG scents!

    Bewitched

Reopening an imp from 2015! I'm a huge fan of sage and true berry scents so I have high hopes for this one. In bottle: clear and sage-y. On skin: still heavy on the sage, but berries are starting to emerge. After a few hours: it's almost getting a very vague suncreen scent to it, but I've also felt that about Arcana. I really like the smell of sunscreen so it's not a problem for me. I love this. Keeping the imp for sure, and will be buying a full bottle once finances permit.

    Jack

This is an old imp (from 2015, turns out. My imps have been hiding away while life got to me, and I'm just now making a return). I was very excited for this one, as I love pumpkin, as well as peach. In the bottle: buttery, cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel On skin: still very foodie, almost like walking into Yankee Candle Factory around Halloween. Not a complaint though! Got a bit of a candy vibe to it. After a few hours: it's kept up. I like it, though I wish the peach were a bit stronger. I'm going to keep the imp, for sure. I might get a full bottle at some point in the future, depending on if I can find an autumnal scent that I'm more into!
