    The Unquiet Grave

This is an incredibly lovely scent. The strongest notes for me are definitely the gardenia, rose, and orchid. They sit beautifully on the skin and settle nicely with my natural body chemistry. Though the have different notes, The Unquiet Grave strongly reminds me of The Last Unicorn. I suspect that it stems from the fact that they are both highly wearable florals that manage to be neither powdery nor dowdy. If someone enjoys one of the scents, they will likely enjoy the other. It certainly is entering into rotation as one of my "signature" scents.

    Bordello

As other people have suggested, Bordello is a bit too sweet to be wearable for every day. The strongest note for me is the plum and it lingers throughout the dry down. When I first opened the bottle, it reminded me of plum cotton candy, which is not a scent that mingles well with my body chemistry. Over time, the oil has melded a bit more, and the amaretto and hints of wine have mellowed the sugariness quite a bit. Though I do periodically wear Bordello straight, I am much more likely to layer it. Putting a bit of Black Rider on top of Bordello helps to cut through the sweetness, and the leather adds a nice bit of depth to the overall scent. Bordello is definitely the type of scent that you have to play with in order to make your own.

    The Last Unicorn

I'm going to join the chorus praising The Last Unicorn. Lilac and iris are the most dominant initial scents, but on the dry down, a fresh green scent blossoms. One of the most magical aspects of this scent is that it is a floral without being dowdy or powdery. The Last Unicorn is highly wearable and sits beautifully on the skin. It is flexible, and I feel like I can wear it in any scenario: at work, on the weekend, or on a night out.

    Spiced Autumn Cider

I had a bit of a problem with Spiced Autumn Cider. The smell itself is lovely enough: spicy, apple-infused, and full of other fallish delights. Unfortunately my skin does not agree with something that went into the oil. Within 2 minutes after putting on the oil, I felt an intense burning sensation where touched my skin. My skin became red and inflamed, and I had to wash it and take an antihistamine. I suspect my batch may have been too heavy on either the cinnamon oil or the pepper essence, which is such a pity. I've never had a problem with any BPAL oils before, and iI'm disappointed that I won't be able to wear such a lovely scent. I'll probably steal evil enabler's idea to use Spiced Autumn Cider in a diffuser instead.
