    Inez

I usually don't post reviews, but felt compelled because I initially didn't care for Inez. It was just too light to make an impact at all. I've had it sitting in my swap box for ages, and saw the card sticking out, so I decided to give it another go. While still soft, Inez has flourished into a swirl of rich amber and musky vanilla with just a hint of cedar coming through. I wish she was stronger, but I just adore her now. Out of the swap pile she comes....

    Traveling with BPAL

On my recent flights from Orlando to Philly and back, I just put a few bottles and imps in the ziplock baggie as many others have, and they didn't even glance at it. However, they did search some handbags, and made a constant point of telling everyone to use a baggie for anything liquid, so, personally, I won't leave anything in my purse just to make life easier...just in case...the rest of the bottles I brought, I packed in my bpal pouch in my luggage-no special care, really, and they survived just fine

    Pink Moon 2007

I didn't think I could like a Pink Moon that was not like the original, but, boy was I off base. I agree with the previous poster's description-in the bottle it is a sharp floral, peppery with just a hint of sweetness. On my skin some of the sharpness dissipates as it becomes more of a softer floral (I'm sorry I'm not too familiar with the uniqueness of carnation and phlox) with a rounded spicy kick. After some time it becomes that soft floral with a creamy spice aura. I can't put my finger on the scent (maybe holiday/vanilla spices?), but it is absolutely gorgeous. Not too flowery, not too sweet, not too spicy...It's been about 3 hours now, and I still have the fragrance wafting about....just lovely

    Nosferatu

It amazes me how differently scents can be perceived. I read through the positive reviews here with my jaw hanging down . While I genuinely appreciate the artistry at work here and am fascinated by the concept of true earth fragrances, all I can say is H@LL NO. Moldy wet dirt is not what I want to smell like on a daily basis. And, this is so typical, while I have difficulty getting some of the other scents that I love to wear very long, I could not even wash this one off. I had to remove the imp because it was making the whole box smell like mushy, gritty earth. I am glad that this works for so many, but it definitely is not for me. But again, it is quite amazing at the same time....

    Chintamani-Dhupa

I absolutely LOVE this. I cannot give a professional review and pick out specific notes, however, here's my take. In the bottle it has the smell of a sharp but sweet woodsy incense. On my skin it softens to an oriental-spicy-honey incense blend. This is very asian in nature to me, and, although there is a very slight floral hint, it is definitely in the background and the amazing honey spice in the forefront. A keeper for me ...must stock up quickly!

    Dragon Moon 2006

This is the first moon and the first anything with dragon's blood that I tried. In the bottle: sharp, almost citrusy with a green edge Wet on the skin: the sharpness dissipates leaving a more floral-fruity aroma with softer green... Dry-later: mellowed into a well-blended light herb-floral...hard to describe, but I love it!

    Monster Bait: Underpants

Well, this is my first time doing this so it won't be too detailed, but I have to because I'm so surprised at this one. I'm not really a foody person, but this is a glorious muted sweet scent. In the bottle it smelled great, but I was a little nervous because of the overwhelming sugar aroma wafting out. On my skin, it has mellowed into a sweet carmel over a slightly powdery (in a good way) sandalwood. It lasts, but is not overpowering. I'm happy that I have another imp of this coming my way
