I remember loving this scent years ago and I even had a 5ml bottle then. My chemistry must have changed over the years because now it doesn't work on me at all. Imp: Sharp, floral, aquatic Wet: Sharp, watery, soapy floral Dry: Woody and still soapy, like waxed paper wrapped scented soaps. No throw. Off to the swap pile for this one.

In the Imp: Sweet fruit, green, with an anise like scent Drying: Light delicious peach, sweet fruit and a floral musk background. Dry: (an hour later) Delicate, sweet fruity floral with a creamy somewhat vanilla scent in the background, maybe from the heliotrope? Overall: A sweet musky floral with a woody sensual base. Nice throw, but not overwhelming. 2 hours later still going strong. Definitely buying a full sized bottle! This will be my spring scent!

Sweet and clean smelling in the imp, and wet. When dry, it still smells sweet, and then turns into clean linen dryer sheet on me. Not unpleasent, but not what I would want to wear as perfume. I think I'm going to turn my imp into a linen spray for a clean laundry and afternoon tea room scent.

When I first open the imp I get spicy floral. On my skin it turns sharp, powdery floral. It smells a bit like old lady potpourri on me. Sad because I love rose and bergamot, although I haven't worn either in a few years so maybe my chemistry is different? Or maybe it's the carnation that is problematic? Either way this is a pass for me. Now it's giving me a headache! I've also tried washing it off three times. It has staying power I give it that!
