  1. Deadly and seductive: vanilla-infused sandalwood, blood musk, antique patchouli, vetiver, lavender, bitter almond, amber, and a trickle of Snake Oil.

    I'm really liking this one!

I was avoiding writing a review because, to me, it's in the same family as Samhain and no one else seems to think that and I can't find what in the notes would make me think that.

I find Witch Dance to be a more feminine Samhain and Tombeur to be a more masculine version, which is probably thanks to the vetiver and maybe lavender

The snake oil in this is great, just enough to get noticed but doesn't commandeer the scent

I find it to be a super sexy scent

  2. Summer in a bottle indeed!

I get a nice realistic strawberry with some green coming from the grass and floral (dandelion for sure, maybe a little of the other two as well) + some nice vanilla> I find it dries down to be mostly vanilla (I'm taking way dry down, where it almost disappears)

    I don't get any sage

    wonderful stuff!

  3. I thought for sure that there was Violet in this as I totally get that powderiness that comes from violet, it smells a little "make-up bag" like on me

I would like this one more if my skin chemistry didn't turn the roses to soap like it tends to do with bpal roses

  4. Yeah, smells like an imp box. Slightly unfortunately (but expectantly) it doesn't smell just "my" imp box, it contains all the smells including some I'm not a fan of.

It's starts rather sharp and high pitched on me, and this is the phase I like the least. The more it dries down, the more I like it

I like it enough to keep my bottle, especially with that artwork and back story, but I had pipe dreams that it would smell more like my imp box

  5. Mmmmm, Dragon's Blood and Red Musk, I am in heaven

I get the cinnamon too, it plays support. Somehow the mixture of Patchouli, Vetiver and Cinnamon translates to Sassafras on me...it's actually pretty cool

    This one wafts nicely too

It's going in the "imps I love" box

  6. I actually kinda love this

When I fist put it on I get a boatload of raspberry with some patchouli and red musk

The red musk burns off pretty quickly, or maybe blends so well with the raspberry that I can't pick it out anymore

The raspberry is sweet and tart, "pulp" is a good description of it and it does remind me a little of Jolly Ranchers candy

It stays raspberry dominant the whole time with patchouli as a support, like others I do find the the orange blossom starts to show up in the dry down

This is also supper strong on me, I put the littlest bit on and it over powered everything else I was testing, it projects well

It smells fun, like an expensive kids perfume (boyfriends words) and I feel like I will reach for it often this summer

  7. I'm thinking I need to let this one age a little as it's still only a couple days old...and I'm getting something rather different from others who have tried it

When I first put it on I get soil, not dirt, but soil. It smells like I just walked into a garden centre or nursery and it's a pleasant smell if a little confusing...I'm guessing: soil = fresh leather + my skin chemistry

Eventually the soil turns a little cherry and leather, then not long after that the Snake Oil starts to come out and then it's marvellous!

On drydown I get what most everyone else gets, amazing Snake Oil and leather! It's just that opening that's super weird on me

  8. When I first got this one, I liked it enough to keep it but I wasn't super impressed

I should have remembered that this was a Snake Oil blend, because now I've had it for a month or so and I love it!

It's kinda like you get two fragrances in one with this blend. When I first put it on I get all berry and it smells like a nice body spray but as it dries down I get more and more Snake Oil, Smoked Vanilla and Amber and it's sooooo nice!

Might be my favourite Snake oil blend

  9. I only get the caramel in the first 2 or so minutes after application, which is perfectly fine by me as that was the one note I wasn't looking forward to

I find this to be a vary wearable Tubarose

I've got the tuberose and then the peach right behind it. The peach stops the floral from being too heady and the Tuberose stops the fruit from being foody

I do get a little bit of Orange blossom for support, but I don't notice any lemon

  10. this one is pretty!

It's reminding me of Iulia from Carnival without the mint

It's floral dominant but I get the sweet and slightly tartness from the strawberries + something lending a creaminess...not sure maybe the vanilla

I could see this as an everyday perfume for spring and summer

  11. I usually find patchouli dominant scents to be calming or earthy...this has to be one of the first times I found it to be sexy, quietly sexy

I can't seem to pull the individual notes apart, they blend together on me

It wears close to the skin but the throw suits the scent...if that makes any sense!

I become more fond of this one each time I wear it

  12. Ohhh this one is so cool

When I first put it on I get a really nice luxury baby powder (and I normally HATE baby powder)

That fades rather fast (15 min or less) and then it starts to smell like the lotion & body wash the brand Principessa beauty used to make (that I can't find anymore) and I LOVED the smell of it. Sorry, that's not too helpful unless you've used the brand but I can't think of any other way to describe this phase

Lastly the Vanilla becomes a lot more dominant and it's similar to the vanilla dry down that I get from Stekk (not exact, just reminiscent of)

really like this one and super glad I got the full bottle

  13. Hmm on me this smells like Love's Philosophy with Jasmine instead of Saffron

And just like the saffron in LP the jasmine in this blend starts off it's strongest and then melds more with the vanilla and becomes softer

I get barely any star anise

lovely and I imagine it'll age wonderfully

edit: It's actually the vanilla cream from "Volcano in Springtime" that I'm getting...nothing else is similar though, so not a dupe

  14. The mixture of Cherry and Anise comes across almost like a minty cinnamon (really loose comparison)

Then add the red musk and it's almost like a cherry cola on me

The anise become more prominent in the dry down, but doesn't take over which is nice

I love frimps because it gets me to try fragrances I never otherwise would have and I really like this one!

  15. I'm of the mind that this is Dorian's older brother

It's a little more dry and a little less sweet (but still fairly sweet)

I like it a little better than Dorian

The lilac almost comes across like a nice lavender for some reason and that's what I thought it actually was (lavender not lilac) until I went a looked at the notes again

I don't notice the oud or white musk

  16. I figured this one would be too food for me but I still wanted to know it as it's so popular

It opens on me as a salted caramel, which was unexpected

it isn't until it dries down that I start to get more of a coffee smell, then it goes sweet irsh coffee

I didn't notice any dusty tomes or oakwood halls unfortunately as that would have been awesome, it was pretty much a Irish Coffee single note on me all day

  17. This one is hard for me to describe, I get a fruitiness that I have no idea where it's coming from. I think it might be the rooibos

I get just the TINIEST bit of mastic and wasabi, but the scent is mostly a fruity rooibos and musks
