Straight up caramelized milk, i don't know what i was expecting but i hated the smell as a kid and it still wants to make me hurl, lol! But, if that's your thing you will LOVE this!

I was expecting something spicy or slightly um.... "egyptian" if that makes any sense? What i get is a reddish very in-your-face ever so slightly peachy fruity scent with a lovely soft amber to back it up. Not my thing but very interesting.

Oooo I was so excited to try this, thank you fellow swappee for the gift! đź’š And boy, this doesn't dissapoint. This is kind of like the female version of Seth, it has a similar dusty deep-ancient feel to it, with a slightly more feminine, middle eastern feel to it. It delicate though, i wish it were more strong, but if i can find a bottle of this sometime i may have to try and get it.

This is looooovely, but my skin just.. eats this. Almost everything. I'm left with a warm, but very soft (aka have to get up REAL close to sniff it) vanilla and cinnamon. 'n that's that. Which IS quite lovely, but not at all what I was hoping for, weh.

Am not a fan of cherry/almond, so i'm already biased from the start, but honestly? I do see why this seems to be such a popular one. This is enticing, and the musk and (really soft) tobacco, amber and blackcurrant turn this into a dark delicious goodness. Even i might want to try this if this was available as some kind of sauce to drizzle over a waffle on a cold winter's day... hmmm..

Red fruity vanilla goodness! Can't test this on the skin unfortunately, but this is such a happy, rainy day scent!!

Oof, I hadn't smelled that dead leaves note in YEARS, i'd forgotten just how strong it is!! But, i'm not getting the fires, but the other 'fumes are there, a very very soft snake oil, and a more apparent Dorian (the slightly cologne-y fougere being very strong on my skin here) and lavender. Took me a sec but now that i'm getting used to this i definately quite like this.

A tingly, sparkly green scent with a slithery, murky dark undertone. Cedar, mint, frankincense, sweetgrass and the lavender lift this up to a really bubbly, joyful blend, and the db resin, sage, and other notes (and i swear a dirt note) give this a molassy-type sweet depth. Very different but really enjoyable!

At first application, i'm greeted with a whopping opoponax and tuberose! These calm down quite quickly, and make room for the other notes; i can pick 'em all out quite clearly. This is a sexy dark mix with a honey-sweet razor-sharp edge. It does have a bit of an old-timey feel to it, but in a good way!

I really enjoyed morocco and am still looking for the perfect pumpkin-halloween thang for me, so it was a no-brainer to try and find this to try it out. From the bottle though, this is completely different than what i would've expected. I'm getting a squishy fruity raisin for some reason? On drydown, the sandalwood comes out, and the weird squishy "moist" notes calm down. It's a very soft pumpkin in the background, a sprinkle of spices and a thicc butter note. This is a lot like pink pumpkin musk on me, not what I was looking for, and unfortunately my skin mostly eats this, but it was lovely to give it a try!

Starts out a weird soapy orange+chocolate, which kinda horrifies me, but it quickly morphs to a stronger pulpy apple, sweet sour berries, the chocolate slightly more in the background- The rose and patchouli are a gorgeous, dusty thing together to round it off. I can only explain this as, this is how i imagined those autumn windows wallpapers must've smelled like.

I don't know why i seemingly did not leave a review ~8 years ago, or- somewhere in the back of my mind, a little voice is going '...maybe it was scrubbed because it was too negative' if I did leave one. Y'all know. Spicy, vanilla, patchouli, AAAaaall that good shiz in a 'lil 'ol bottle. Welp. But, having the pleasure of trying it again this week after all that time... Oh how the turns have tabled......

Barely there on me. Very fruity, strong peppermint (with whatever's supposed to be chocolate in here, being more like a dead leaves note, weirdly).... Almost peachy on me. Not for me at all, goes a tach plasticy on me as fruits often do..

A gorgeous pink velvety rose. Not stemmy or green at all, just a slightly sugared rose! The plum adds a lovely deeper sugar note to this.

Lavender here being the strongest note, this is a very pretty purplydarkblue men's cologne. The white florals go crazy wet on me, but creep to the background, adding this lovely soft mystic mood.

Could've sworn i tried this before, but here we are. In the opening i'm getting a big 'ole lovely waft of incense, the same as in midnight on the midway. A soft green cardamom starts adding some grit and depth. Then, the white florals add some kind of midnight-magic to this, while the tea, chamomile, moss and beeswax become the spotty sky full of stars. Very pretty, very evocative.

Don't know why my nose is picking this up, but i'm getting a soft snow note similar to both the one in midwinter's eve and frost at midnight (leaning more towards the latter) with a fancy mainstream perfume splashed on top. It starts here, as this kinda lemony snow thing, and then morphs into the following; Then, it starts to resemble the actual notes (lol) the soil here being a more wet one (not necessarily dirt-y), a vague metallic and those warm, sappy greens. Strange, but very easy to love. This is a very happy, kinda pinkish green scent.

Oh nooooo! This made me averse my head sniffing from the bottle, not what i was expecting at all! However, thank goodness, it calms down on drydown- whatever was not only SO strong (i'm guessing some of the black notes) has gone to the background, creating a beautiful velvety soft blanket of darkness, and on this darkness there's the slightest hint of something similar to fruits. Oudhy, vaguely vanilla, vaguely fruity. Gives me a headache. :c

Ooooh, very pretty! AH! I remember what this kinda reminds me of devil's nightcap from lush! They discontinued that soap here for a long time, so this is a nice little reminder of it, hah! This is sliiightly ever stronger with it's rooibos though, it's gives this nice spicyness to it, a wet warmth. In a good way!

Wet, i get something wet- and soaplike. Dust? Absolutely agreeing with the smoky velvet cucumber there. It's not disagreeable on me, but it's not something i'd ever go for. On drydown it's a strong, but watery vetiver, with something surprisingly sweet and light (like a heady floral that's watered down), but the overall feel of it is a dark brooding figure. The notes are beautifully blended, i find it incredibly hard to describe. Oily, 100-year-old-layer-of-dust, vague woodsy, dirty leather and watery velvet cucumber vetiver??

Ohh i knew i was gonna like this! Besides being amongst many things, a musical geek, i had hoped to try this pair out for a while now. Beautiful strong white florals, that remind me a little bit of the ones in Hymn, the frankincense giving this a flowy, expensive feel (but it stays in the background, it's more of a purple, slightly more gritty and lesh in-your-face frankincense than in for example the blue note in Midnight on the midway). The vanilla comes out much more on drydown and is this beautiful sweet, soft almost creamy note that really ties this together. Tags that would fit are indeed old fashioned, chique, feminine, innocent. My skin tends to amp white florals, but besides the fact that this has a pretty strong throw (though never strong enough for my tastes perhaps) it's never overpowering here. Beautiful!! So happy with this!!
