Suuuper strong cherry on a velvety dark cholocate bed. The orange blossom actually makes this really stand out, soft floral leaves that to me, makes this almost honey-like.

Ooooh dear. I wanted to like this very much, but the strength of the almond caught me by surprise, never a fan of this note though it has it's benefits. Gets less harsh on drydown though, thank goodness, and there's this beautiful goopy honey-rum there that's absolutely delightful. Definately something somewhat fruity in there - and that phosphorous note adds just enough of a tinge of 'bleh' to me; it's a little too sweet and uhhh i'm gonna call it metallic for lack of a better word here. If you looooove raisins and maybe also the smell of... whatever that smell that hangs around in bars when it's late in whafts is, this may be up your alley? Wanna have a sip of that rum though...

Sexy lilac fougere. A ever-so slightly lighter, more sweeter, sparkly purple version of Sir Thomas Sharpe, dare I say. And yes, also similar to Dorian.. Won't need this but it's been lovely to finally give this a try!! ?

Oof, not loving this from the bottle - Getting-vetiver-but-not-quite-vetiver-vibes from this, but once again, changes quite completely on my skin. It's very interesting; there's an almost fruity quality to this, which i think may be the mix of cardamon, myrrh and fir? messing with my head. This is REALLY strong at first, then slowly goes into something more coffee centered, and something i expected more from the notes. Still, a slight fruity something there, in the background, with a soooft mix of all the notes, the most noteable the coffee, cardamom and vanilla.

I first made a somewhat... offensive noise at first application; sweet dark cacao and tan leather with a soft pine, hmmm. Though this directly reminds me of a really old bottle of Captain Cully that i once had, it dries down slightly different - though something similar for sure is in there, i just can't pinpoint it. It's both a mix of herbal- and motor oil though, if that makes ANY sense. On drydown there's still that in the background, and then the strongest note is a powdery dark cocoa, a soft thick brown leather. It's nice, but there's something that's bringing me back to the dentist we went to as very little kids lmao??? It's nice, quite sexy, though the weird dentist thing is sorta putting me off..

Starts out as a strange browny-green honestly slightly offputting scent, but i'm happy to mention that, yes this morphs quite a lot. And quite directly! After a few seconds, the frankincense comes up (similar to the one in midnight on the midway), leaves a white-reddish/purplyhaze, then goes to the background again (woaooaauuhuuhooh??) and the creamy vanilla takes the front with what i'm guessing is the coriander and wintry musk. The frankincense hasn't dissapeared as it's more in the middle now, which is interesting as i haven't smelled a perfume that did that in a while now! This is very chique perfume-y. Reaaally like this!

Smells like walking into my nearest flower shop. ? Sappy, incredibly well blended florals. A punchy pepper (that, for a second i thought may be too strong, but stays just strong enough to elevate the scent into something that feels.. growing. Alive.) and dried i am left with mostly sappy greens, with the rest still there- that i'm hoping will get a bit stronger with age.

Ohhh this smells like a tropical vacation. Or maybe like an incredibly lush, expensive sunscreen and a fancy cocktail nearby on a sunny day. That is doing it injustice though, this is a very realistic dip into someone else's memory, or maybe a fantasy into a beautiful summer paradise will do.

Huh! Not at all what i was expecting. In the bottle i get a strong slapintheface of that buttercream, sugar and something white (like wet facepaint). Still getting that strong wet facepaint, not getting any florals and the sugar and buttercream are waaaayyy in the background. Like. I can't smell this unless i get wayy up close. Whyyyyyyyy

Ahh, I was expecting something more "warm", this comes with what i'd call a chill. The squishy/watery blue note that i so enjoy dries down to a powdery soft purple. It's not strong on me at all, and while it's nice, but i'm left with that typical american-mint christmas candy, and something that turned plasticy on me in the background. I want to love this sooo bad (gosh i love the bottle art too) but my skin just doesn't want it!

Hazelnut, Red Amber, and Toasted Sandalwood

I'm also getting a dirt note! But I don't hate it. It somehow reminds me of childhood. A vague feeling of having played in the dirt and getting back to the classroom in autumn, waaayyy back in the first years primary school. I vaguely remember they used to decorate the room with old leaves, hazelnuts and chestnuts, so maybe it has something to do with that. It's got this lovely, warm, red feel which may be the thing that ties together this nostalgia-feeling this gives me. Super autumny, strong throw, super cozy! -
Getting all the notes easily- a delicious applecinnamon cake, sweetened and giving it a red squilchy edge of cherry and a slight grit of brown sugar in the background. Hmmm.. (I think as if lately any apple note has been going plasticy on me, same thing happening here. Curses)!!!

Wet, tis is mostly cherry on me. Which i'm not a fan of, but if you are you just may love this- Dry, strong strong juicy cherry with a delicious strawbnilla amber enveloping it; it becomes less foodie and somehow slightly tarty and ...cakelike? Like leftover pieces of cherry pie. Quite delightful!

I like the idea of this, but violet always amps on me 'till it just gets too much for me. A shame, because this is a lovely feminine, soft fragrance. There's a milkyness to it, a very soooft tea note that mixes in with the roses. No green on these roses! Just the soft redness of 'em. But yeah, violet overpowers on my skin, which in the imp gives it this interesting, purply silvery edge that really makes it stand out!

Yay, finally having a go at this one! Strong bright vanilla and honey at the forefront with this one on me- sweet pea is the background in this, and the pear and strawberry barely there, though i can pick them out. It's fuzzy, almost fizzy. A very realistic very sweet, goopy, gushy peach-coloured scent!

Vetiver is one of my death notes, but i've been so curious about this one for a while, so i'm happy to get to try this! And I'm happy to say that this is a soft, beautifully blended vetiver, that kind of feels like a velvet backdrop to the other notes. The bay leaves are strong, but in the few previous scents i've tried that had that note, it tends to amp on me. It's this spicy green note which goes wonderfully together with the rum here. The blackcurrant gives this a slight fruity, quirky feel; slightly feminine, a swoosh of purply red. Herbal, mysterious, jolly. Lovely!

LLLXXXI - Woods? a mix of herbs and spices, the green spices taking the upper hand. A smidge of tobacco somewhere in the background, and a white floral twirling it's way upward and to the front as it dries down.

Sweet florals and fruity saps. Strong jasmine looms over myrrh and sandalwood, who blanket all those florals and fruits.

Spices! Lots of spices and herbs - sweet but soft ginger and maybe a veeeery faint purply dark resin. This is lovely, but i'm missing something here that makes it irresistable, and i think my skin ate ...that.
-
Hm. Aquatic-foggy, slightly minty floral with an undertone of something rotting. Why skin, why!
-
Ohh. Oh woe is me- this is a gorgeous sexy, smoky boozy wooden perfume, beautifully spiced. However, the smell of whiskey will always be the reminder of a bad memory, one of those from the past, that i just cringe when i do smell it. Unfortunate, because this is gorgeous.
-
Herby, smoky cherry drink. Has a similar vibe as mulled wine. I want a sip!
-
Oh, gorgeous! A white milky red cream, slighty spiced up by the vetiver. Usually vetiver is a big death note for me, but here it's beautifully blended into the background, adding just enough of a tinge in there to work extraordinary well here.

Hippie shop. Pure hippie shop. slightly spicy sandalwood, possibly incense and a warm honey-sweetness.

There's a metallyness from the blood, it's not neccesarily mechanic, more.. musky, that stands out to me first thing sniffing this. Pair that with a thirst-enducing, but not overly strong red booze note and a sweet but bitter cocoa. I shouldn't like this knowing my own track record, but i really, really do!
