wHY ARE THESE ALL SO PRETTY. It smells like an evil, brooding, dusty, watchful and empty place. What place? No idea. Could be the heart of the dressed/stressed to impress sir Thomas Sharpe. Very masculine, almost herbal with a lovely amber embracing the whole thing like a hug. Gorgeous.

First impressions: camp in elementary school. Woodsy and something which resembles vetiver. It gets pretty sophisticated and slightly sweet on drydown, but fades a lot on me unfortunately. If I had the money, I'd still get a bottle though as it's once again a beautiful blend, soft and dark, from the crimson peak collection.

Woooh, more CP scents!! Ahh how I love this movie. Lovely musky, a sweet sister of black moths. It seems like something I should hate but this is glorious somehow?? Dusty, dark, sweeeeeeet and soft. What hasn't been said about this. As freyasfrea mentions "sophisticated yet perverse" is a very good way to sum this up. Oh this is good.

Oh man, Oh man. I'm in love with this from the imp. All the notes are clearly distinguishable, and somehow the right ones for me all amp up like crazy on application. Only slightly aquatic, with the berry, herbs and insence being very bold over all of the other notes. I LOVE THIS. Can I say it enough? Eh. Need a bottle. Maybe two.

I'm gonna be honest, I got a slap in the face of nostalgic related love for roman history only a couple of days ago and man have I been anticipating this one since. In the imp it's a lovely, vacation-y smell. Warm, dusty, slightly sweet. Herbs and rose (which thankfully amps on my skin). Yep. It's love. Gonna need a bottle of this one!

From the imp: this is what visits to my old dentist's office would smell like. Slightly cleaner-ish, with a hint of clay paste... I don't even know how else to explain it. However on drydown it fades... a lot. Almost to non-existence. What remains is what I'm guessing is the cannabis, tonka and a bit of white tea, but it's very, very subtle. Sure is an interesting blend though!

A wet, green garden at night, when the moon is full and the mist enshrouds dark figures. It's slightly sweet floral in there but I couldn't really tell you what flora I'm actually smelling here. Not a bad thing per sé ofcourse. I really like this! It's atmospheric, green and dark and a little bitter.

Ew. I don't like either notes, but you're sure to love this if you like... well, white chocolate and strawberry! There's not much to say other that these are pretty damn realistic strawberries and the chocolate is creamy and soft.

This seemed really promising on application; sweet, floral, soft. However now that it's dried down I'm mostly left with a strong violet, burnt sugar, and a little bit of orris. Weird. I see how people love this though, and if it goes better with someone's chemistry this would be fantastic. I'm not that lucky, unfortunately!

No ...almond in this?? Do I not like pumpkin? From the imp I'm taking this as a personal insult, but fret not, it gets more appealing to me as it dries down. Sugary and fizzy, a warm sweet autumnal scent. I might need a bottle if it comes back in stock, surprisingly.

Getting a lot of the snow at midnight vibes here. Soapy, very very soapy and slightly floral. That, but slightly sharper, with that lovely plum note on the side and I think the champaca and opium here give it the darker, sharper twist.

Ahh, I LOVE this in the imp!! This smells like the 5th of december, the night when Sinterklaas (the Dutch version of "santa claus") and his helpers give the kids their presents and candy. My skin amps up the tobacco and it gets way more woodsy, and it loses a bit of it's sweetness, so any sort of foody kinda dissapears, and with that, the sinterklaas vibe. At least it takes away from the effect. That said, this is still very very nice and when dry, it's more of a christmas, essential oil you'll find with the diffusers that usually get a lot of attention on commercials around that time of year (but might I add better. Nothing cheap or ususal about it). Not sure I wanna smell like this for longer then an hour, but it. Is. Lovely! This would be perfect as an atmosphere spray.

Ooh. What a fancy ass perfume this is on me. from the imp I got more of a this-is-exactly-like-the-cheap-perfumes-in-drugstores vibe which worried me a little, but otherwise this comes close to the "black pearl" family for me. That, add in some blood musk and ta-dah. This is a little more fuzzy on me (perhaps thanks to the orris), and while I'm still not a fan of coconut, it's again a lovely, interesting blend.

I'm surprised by how sweet this actually is! Was expecting something piraty. Maybe this could be a really squeaky clean pirate with a great taste in perfume. On my skin the coconut and iris start to amp. The first ten minutes I get some sort of a lotion/body butter note but that thankfully fades more into coconut later. Not a huge fan of coconut so it's kinda meh for me, but it is very well blended and the other notes are still there, in the background, complimenting it greatly. It's like a comforting warm bath with your favourite hair conditioner in. Or something.

Oh wow. Another great exotic, warm, evocative blend in the awesome luau lounge. It's like a sunset. So boozy!! ...Holding on to this decant for a little while; have to convince myself to either get a bottle, or let it go, I'm not entirely sure what my brain thinks of this. EDIT: Damn. After a good hour with this on it goes nasty plastic on me. Seriously so peeved about it. Why skin, why!!!! D:

Happy, bubbly and bright, this'll warm up the coldest days in winter! It's got slightly slithery and questionable undertones that are somehow still enjoyable and work very well into the blend, reminds me of the strange undertones reptoid dominion has (which I LOVE)! It's only the slightest bit soapy/clean but not in a bad way. Where can one get a ticket for this rad concert?

Ooooh, I love the rum note in this!! Just a lovely, punchy, exotic cocktail on my wrist. A little too much of the pineapple and orange for me, and I'm not sure if it's just me but I'm getting coconut vibes (which I'm not a huge fan of), but it's something special.

Not at all what I expected; however it does fit the concept to me as it's very, very anise-y and it directly made me think of beschuit met muisjes! Anyway, on drydown it goes a lot softer and more pleasant, otherwise... Yeah. Beschuit met muisjes.

What I'm getting from the imp is a sharp, branch-y and berryish kinda blend. While most of it's the same on my skin, on drydown it gets slightly more aquatic and I'm pretty sure the blossom and some other floral notes amp up a bit to help it get a little more awesome. Very true to the concept!! Reminds me a bit of the mainstream perfume "Eden" for as far as I remember it.

Oh wow, this scared me from the imp, as I got a barky-herby kind of feel from it, but it couldn't be more different on my skin! Gorgeous fruity goodness! All the individual notes loud and clear, easy to pick apart for me, but mixed together to perfection. I won't need a bottle but I'm so glad I got to sniff it.
-
...I'm not getting a whole lot of vanilla. I mean, it's there, but I expected something more like Edith Cushing. ...Not the case. That said, it's not a bad mix at all, perhaps just not for me. Slightly citrusy (or is that fir?) with the same mint note as in winter-time.

As much as I'm appearantly and mostly unfortunately not a fan of mugworth and mandarin, I can tell exactly what's going on here and it, ofcourse, fits perfectly to it's concept. There's definately some sort of awe in here, a sense of feeling really small under a blanket or stars. Chilly, blue/orange, soft.
-
Herby, backyardy goodness! Slightly morphs on my skin from a light green berry mixture to a darker, herbal party. Awesome. Reminds me of a scene from a book "wise child" where an accused "witch" has a backyard full of herbs. Good times...

In the imp: violet/jasmine toilet cleaner! thank goodness, once applied the red currant comes out straight away and makes it more playful and warm. It's a good mix, while I'm still able to tell apart all the notes. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of all of them, but the currant and rose petals are just lovely and it's pretty evocative all the same. I should go to Venice someday.

I swear I've smelled this before.... Where was it??? Perhaps a fancy schmansy restaurant I walked by once? The more fancy, sensual soft notes I pick up from the imp however quickly fade to a sharper, more dusty blend on my skin. To be honest, after a little while it goes garbage on me. Seriously. Like, a full bag of garbage. Bleh. Too bad, it was promising at first.
