Not familiar with some of the notes here, so i won't have all the right words, but i'm guessin it's the carmine here that's reall strong, and the blue lotus(?) which reads as a white floral to me - and otherwise it's a lot of dusty, dry spices. As in, sahara sand dry. Well done! Dry, the carmine and floral are still there, but much quieter - and it's MOSTLY spices on me then. Low throw - the one luper i've tried so far that I wish worked better on my skin. :c

Starts out super fresh - akin to eucalyptus. with.. something slightly purplishly dark in the background.... Oppoponax? Don't know, been a while since I smelled that. It's not something i would have picked but this is a lovely surprise. Even though these notes to me seem like the shouldn't match, they sure do! BPAL keeps me on m toes, hahah. While it's slightly more hyperactive/scream-y wet/in the bottle, it quickly calms down into a more lavender quality - the same notes but softer, with maybe a mint in the background. Dry it's even more herb-y. Very pretty and calming. ^^

Oh so pretty (I'm yapping today but i have so many pretty new treasures so bear with me) - A delicious soft vanilla (indeed creamy, but not the cream that goes "off" on my skin chemistry), the softest of soft mosses (indeed sitting by a soft babbling stream, but not dipping into aquatic), and the balsamic and tar deepen this while never taking this to a nighttime-type of dark, but indeed the woods, with spots of sun beaming through the thick greens of the trees. I think the balsamic is a bit "tangy" and weirdish on my skin, but not weird enough to make me not like this; this is beautiful and i'm definately keeping this around to see what happens with this beauty!

Dragonfruit AND hibiscus? Count me in!! This is a hyper candied-floral with a sharp white edge and a soft, greenish base. It's super pretty, indeed fresh (stemmy fresh). Vaguely reminds me of the vibe of matcha powder (just the vibe if anyone catches my drift), that with swirls of pink. Dries down about the same. Decent throw, longlasting. Prettyyyy. 💗

@bheansidhe hit the nail on the head. The cross of the red fruits, the resiny-labdanum ish thing that overarches this... It does, besides that, absolutely read as dragonfruit to me though, which is great cause it's my favourite fruit and I was so excited seeing that in a bpal product. The patchouli is barely there to me, this does feel like more of a candied-scent, slightly aquatic (more in a "this scent has layers/feels deeper" and not in a "common-masculine-male-perfume" type of way). Very much like this, happy to see this age.

2007 version. I was super excited to try this, and while i like it, i'm not sure if I love it just yet. I'm not getting as much champaca as i'd hoped; it's spicy from the sandalwood, and I get all the notes (except that i'm not as familiar with the date palm or davana) which makes for a warm, reddish blend, but for some reason, this to me feels like 'old lady perfume'. Or at least, something about it. Maybe it needs to settle a lot longer, this one, cause everytime i've put it on since I've had it (a good few weeks now) it's different/a bit stronger. I'm doing something I honestly barely do and give this a little more time within my claws, it's intriguing and I want to love it so desperately.

I KNEW I'd love this. Snake oil with a dirty dirty patchouli and that beautiful realistic black leather bpal does so well (and that tends to amp on my skin). WILF and snake charmer resurrected's sibling. So, so sexy. This should age beautifully.

Pinkish white florals (lOTS of florals), sliiiiiiiightly soapy (but a SUPER expensive one), has a sugary tropical feel to it but remains soft. Beautiful!
-
Oh damn I do vaguely agree with the car freshener, only because i've JUST smelled one a few days ago (not a regular occurrence to me) but I did not hate it(!). That said, other than that (I wouldn't call this soapy though) there's a delightful deep foody vanillafroth, something slightly salty and doughy, and a beautiful fresh pine that works remarkably well here. Goes buttery on my skin (dunno if my skin chermisty is just bleh as of late) but it goes to exactly where i want it for a few seconds, and then, just butter. Ooooph the wasted potential *clenches fists while shaking them angrily at the sky

Unfortunately I seem to not be the right person for this - I see why this is loved, but my senses just can't seem to make peace with these notes, gahh! Mouse circus meets a foodier (and woodier?) TKO. There's, to me, something somewhat unpleasantly "murky green" lurking in the background that I can't quite place. Wish I loved this 'lil creature, but luckily other people do.

This is absolutely delightful - absolutely could be the scent of a cocktail i'd gladly gulp away anytime. There is a definite fizzyness to it, a bouncy, almost hyperactive (but not overwhelming) bubble that's a bundle of joy in scent-form. It's vaguely reminiscent to whatever's in the champagne note in The waltz. The grenadine is obvious, a gorgeous crimson red tinge in this swirly colourful aromatic cacophony - fruity but not too light. The lemon-lime lifts the whole thing up into a fresher territory (without being overpowering, which these notes often do for me), the maraschino to me is barely there, but a slight, light candied cherry note on top, coupled with that amber note the ghost blow mold has - it all sounds so strange and i feel like this should not work, but by god this is just a joy. Absolutely hate to note that this just turns to lemony amber on my skin - this should do wonders for someone else. It should, because MAN I wish this worked on me.

This is a lovely, dusty, and soft like fresh sheets kinda comfy scent; vaguely spicy (guessing that's a mix of the fir, khus, myrrh and sandalwood mix - not "spicy" but more it's alluding to spices), vaguely tropical(? stating this as a very broad grasp of a vibe i am getting, akin to a memory from Bali), sweet and full of compassion indeed. Not really tethering on foody nor perfumy, it's is own thing. To me, a lot like a vague, but lovely memory. This does not work at all on my skin, and mostly dissapears aside from leaving me with mostly just... Dust. Too damn bad, this is so sweet.

Ooo now that's different! Heady and mysterious - this remins me of a scent (although a more luscious version) they may use in an attraction like 'Fata morgana'. Getting strong middle eastern vibes from this. It's just so soft and classy, yet with such an intoxicating feel to it; i wasn't familiar with the datura note yet, but regarding what I heard from the yt channel about it that may be pulling a lot of the weight here. In such a good way. A dark, delirious floral with soft sugary candies in a bed of soft frankinscense and oudh. Don't know if I have a need to keep it, but this is gorgeous!!

This is just suuuuper cherry (the almondy-one again) forward on me, softened by red musk and even softer amber. There is indeed a floral quality to this, but all the other notes on me are in the background. That said, this is super wearable and not too strong on me, aside from maybe that cherry/red musk combo. Sexxyyy. On drydown, the florals/pulpy mix comes out a bit more, and the jasmine starts bubbling up to the surface, playing nice with the red notes. It gets pretty close to Our lady of pain on me after that, pushing the red squishy notes to the background, becoming a more vegetal base with a frankincense feel. It's nice but i loved the stage before this. Whyyyyyy skin whyyyy

There's something here that reminds me vaguely of this raspberry lip gloss this little corner store sold at some point in my youth. Which is delightfully nostalgic, not gonna lie (i always liked that scent actually), but there's a bit of an ever so slightly plasticy feel to this when wet. There's a vague fieriness in the background, something vaguely spicy(?), but otherwise i'm not detecting anything too spoopy. This is pretty strong though, which I'm very happy about - and it becomes more juicy and realistic as it dries down. Sooooooo nice, mmmmm.

From the bottle i'm getting an autumny soap. Applied, it goes into a dreamy, velvety scenescape of a dark, cozy autumn night with magic in the air. I'm not entirely sure what i'm smelling that still vaguely reminds me of "soap" (dw, it's not """perfume soapy""" anymore), but maybe the mead, corn and maple? It's this... goopy gloppyness of liquid orange amber (*not as in an amber note), swirlywirling around, stars twinkling in the night sky - a bit away you see a cozy city, right in front of you a dirt road lit by fairy lights, filled with sweet autumnal creatures, a forest to your right, and a corn field to your left. Usually the dead leaves note amps on me like crazy - no such thing here! This is so, absolutely adorable (and so wearable)!

OOooooooohhhh my GOSH this is ridiculously sweet. Like. Pure lemony sugar distilled into a perfume. I can't really stand it. I'm really just getting lemon sugar - not like trick or treat to me at all?

Ooo, very reminescent of the image on first sniff, adorable pumpkiny merryness with a dark undertone. It's not "heavy" though, the darkness doesn't drag it down, and all the sweet notes are fluffy and light, and soooo happy. Absolutely getting the 'banana' here, but it's definately all the notes working together to create the idea of the banana. I can still pick them apart outside of that, but it's a lovely, LOVELY happy 'lil 'fume. Bananabananabanana. ?

The black cherries turn slightly more into almonds on my skin which... Granted, horrifies me - but i'm gonna stick it out cause this in the bottle is already gorgeous! Ahhh... As it dries down, the smoked plum ('n labdanum?) comes out, the plum AND patchouli (and a sniff of myrrh) standing out above the rest. I think the saffron is there to give this a sharper edge, to me. That note was gonna make or break this, as the last time I tried a scent with (lots of) saffron it REALLY messed me up... (allergic, I guess?) but it's just tempered enough here that it's not driving me crazy just yet. This note combo had me goin' cuckoo though, so i was desperate to give this beauty a try. This is beautiful but it needs some retesting to see what my body does with it. My head is a liiiittle bit achy w this but it could be other allergies/just my run 'o the mill migraine from as of late. Anyway, deep, sensual - quite "burnt" on the edges (there is just a dry ashy note in there), but only as an afterthought. Somewhat floral, somewhat musky, somewhat patchouli and plummy... Absolutely agree with that this has an 'old timey-BPAL-scent'. Snake charmer resurrected could be a cousin to this. It's a lovely well blended picture, this. Sexy!! *PS the "almonds" are fine and don't bother me when dry.

A very quiet scent on me. Pretty sharp, saffron wayyyy in the background, with tingling bursts of delightful tv-static red champaca/tobacco/patchouli, in a bed of hemp, red musk and clove. But very, very soft and quiet.

To me, this isn't as quiet as the description would make you believe. ...It's a bit.... pulpy. As if all the leaves from the noted flowers (and some stems) have been put in something, stomped on slightly, then left in there for a few days. I think i'm amping the lilac again, but outside of THAT it is quite calm and nature-y. The sandalwood really comes out after a while, which really "makes" this; it softens it at the edges, and blurs the bouquet in the mind. It softly whispers in your ear 'It's okay, just lay down on this here jungle floor and have a nap *pat pat*'. Yeah. Nature-y and calm. Nice!
-
Oooo strong honeysuckle (but not the greener- out-in-nature-type, more of a raw processed one), a soft base of myrrh and copal and cinnamon powdered on top. It's really really nice honesty, doesn't morph or change. Wish this was stronger on me.
-
Super fresh (almost aquatically cold/fresh), skin musky pink and peachy, powdery pink goodness! It doesn't change much on my skin (aside that it calms down sliiightly so, and gets a little closer to a "skin scent"). It's got a good throw, and doesn't overpower, super feminine. it's a spiritual sister to Beautiful and adored.
-
Agree with the raw almond reviews on here. There's a sliiightly "hard-candy" element in this, but far in the background, but it's mostly pretty earthy and woodsy almond.
-
Sooo fresh and clean! Aquatic minty breath, fresh laundry in the background, lol? Citrus, possibly a white floral, and i'm also getting that embalming-fluid thingy. Also got a floor/al-purpose-cleaner element to it. Hm.
