Neroli, Green Yuzu, and Mandarin Orange

A tumble of citrus! Definitely a bitter leaning citrus scent, which I absolutely adore. The neroli seems to win out on my skin, just a hair over the yuzu, which has a really bracing zest. The mandarin is sweet, giving a bit of relief to the heady bitterness of the other two. -
2023 version. I love the combination of cake and cardamom, though I agree this is definitely less sweet than Perfectly Normal Childhood. The cotton candy gives a faint fruitiness that also makes it different. A lot of fruit notes go strange on me, but it stays soft and indistinct. A soft, delightful cake scent.

Tea Leaves, Vanilla Bean, and Incense Smoke

In the bottle I get a beautiful vanilla and black tea combo. The black tea is one of the most true to life I've come across in perfume, it has that bottomless woody-sweet quality. There's a lemony edge that reminds me a little bit of Dorian. A really beautiful soft incense backs this on my skin. It reminds of how the soft incense sort of melds with the cake in All Souls. Comforting yet refreshing, so glad I picked this one up! -
In the bottle a cloud of sugary vanilla mint, like Alisz but without the tart berry note. On my skin that beautiful creamy pistachio comes out. Absolutely delicious.

A fresh, cologne-y floral. I mean cologne-y in the best way, it has this layered, intentional vibe. Not just a bunch of florals, but a composed air to it. The tea starts off really forward and fresh, but on my skin everything melds together. Even violet, which usually doesn't play nice on my skin, I can't pick out in particular.

In the bottle I get evergreen and clean cotton mostly, maybe some white florals wrapped up in that laundry breeze. On my skin it gets more meadowy- grassy and a mix of florals that I have difficulty pulling apart. I definitely could see lily being in the mix, there's a light sappy/waxy floral element. The evergreen note is hanging out in the background and a teensy streak of lemon starts to poke out as it dries down. I can't really pull out any of the textile notes or that 'laundry' vibe from the bottle, but I think it is all melding into that meadow mix. A spring breeze in a bottle! -
I love the creamy fig of Atsui-Mono and I thought this would be in the same zone. This is more gourmand, a bit sweeter but definitely in the same family. The fig is a bit fruitier and the buttercream lends a playful sweetness. The sandalwood comes in more as it dries down, keeping it from going full-on gourmand. Gorgeous!

Definitely get that floral-sweet vibe. On me this starts breezy, not full on clean laundry breezy, but florals on the breeze. As it dries I get more wool, it gets more snuggly. The silk gets less distinctly floral. I can't pull out the cream specifically but I think it's helping blend the edges of the silk notes and the wool.

This is a beautiful contrast of crisp white tea and more subdued notes. The tea starts off bright, white and green tea notes often have a citrussy leaning on me, with a musky, amber base underneath. As it dries the amber and vanilla oud stand out in front, the vanilla oud is gorgeous- a smooth silky wood scent. I can pull out the sandalwood in the dry down but it is all very well blended. The tea is not so crisp in the dry down. A gorgeous muted tea scent, it makes me think of drizzly days.

I first sniffed this when I was hungry and had to put it down. It smelled like a lemon meringue pie, sweet-tart lemon curd and a halo of marshmallow-y fluff. Coming back to it, it does not read so gourmand. A beautiful musky amber made sparkling with lemon. Bright, warm, and golden. The vanilla and mallow sweeten this further, and give it that airy fluffiness but it's not sugary. Cheerful, yet elegant.

In the bottle this is very woody, a very dry sandalwood with a bit of wintergreen sort of edge. On wet the patch comes in - a smooth patch and the wintergreenish hint dies back. As it dries it gets sweeter and smoother with the rice milk and tonka coming in, and the sandalwood creeps back in as well. It's a snuggly brown scent. Lightly sweet and homey feeling.

@crystaltongue I haven't tried that scent but I can think of a couple scents that might be in a similar vein! The first that comes to mind is Solanine, The Flower Girl from CD: A woman stands behind you. She holds a basket overflowing with creeping vines and flowers: razor-thorned roses, vibrant bursts of oleander, drooping cascades of wisteria, sprays of white hemlock and lily of the valley, bruise-blue pillows of aconite, purple-veined henbane, and the snapping jaws of monstrously large flytraps, glistening wet with mucilage. Her clothes smell faintly of manchineel smoke, and her fingertips are stained green. She smiles and shudders as the green tendrils that surround her writhe and contract. She plucks a red-spotted mushroom from her basket and places it gently in your palm before turning away. This might be more garden-y and floral but sounds like it should be fairly green as well. Another that comes to mind is The Forest Reverie: A sunlit ancient forest, dotted with wild roses, grape vine, and queenly lilies, clothed in swirls of opium smoke. Might need to be layered with something more mossy? Currently there is a ménage of Fern, English Ivy, and Oakmoss that sounds like it could be a good starting point with layering with floral scents! I feel like the last few summers I've seen wildflower/meadow type scents that could potentially get you in the ballpark -
In the imp this is dark, fruity, and a bit syrupy. On my skin the cranberry is more tart, and I can pick the almond out - more nutty than the cherryish kind than I anticipated. The musk come to the front as it dries.

Delicious! Creamy vanilla and sweet rootbeer, it's even a touch fizzy to my nose but not sure if my brain is just doing that. The cedar is soft on my skin, most noticeable late into the dry down, but helps keep the sweetness in check.

At first I get mostly myrrh and black musk, a cousin of Haunted. The patch creeps in as it dries roughing up the blend a bit, but then everything is smoothed out again by the vanilla. I struggle to find the nutmeg or chilli on my skin.

This starts off very oaky on me, with a hint of vetiver and almond. It reminds me of study, or a softer cousin of The Antikythera Mechanism. It gets a little less woody as it wears, with more soft sandalwood and a bit of beeswax coming out to smooth edges and sweeten slightly.

This is the baby of Stekk and Ask The Nearest Hippie. Gorgeous vanilla marshmallow dominated but eventual a delightful deep, chewy patch shows through. Incredible.

A gorgeous fuzzy brown scent. Coffee, incense and cardamom mak this so rich and snuggly, and I get a hint of fir around the edges for a slightly chilly freshness.

A bit nervous sniffing this is in the imp, as the fresher, polished leather notes can take over on my skin and go screechy. In the imp I get mostly fresh leather and fir. On my skin the leather keeps in the background, and the fir and chocolate come front and center. It's foresty and a bit sweet and homey at the same time.

In the imp I get a beautiful black tea and almond combo, brightened with lemon. Wet it's mostly almond, heading off into pastry territory. As it dries the almond calms down, and I get bits of patch and tobacco peaking through as well. The other notes really support the tea.

I agree with the above, there is something invigorating about this blend. The combination of sage and bergamot is bright and crisp. The anise creeps in as it dries and gives it a bit of a base note and sweetness.

Super fluffy lavender marshmallows! It reminds me of TKO but super sweet and with a candied fruitiness. The sweetness settles down a smidge as it dries but still a super fun, delicious scent.

Smoked Caramel, Himalayan Cedar, and Patchouli

I love a smooth, lightly sweetened patchouli. The caramel adds a richness to the patch. The smoke is light, just helping to keep the sweetness in check, and the cedar a dry, woody undertone. A gorgeous, super cozy trio. -
Delicious spicy pastry, syrupy sweet. On my skin the ginger really blooms and I agree it is very reminiscent of Shub, but there's a butteriness underneath.
