In the imp: gritty patchouli Wet: very juicy, sweet apricot. Mouthwatering. Dry: Apricot is still juicy and most prominent. Very bright. There is a little patchouli underneath sexing things up. The apricot is just so true to life it is astounding me. I am generally not in love with fruity scents but this one has me tempted.

    Question Mark

In the bottle: all orange. But like a dark, smooth orange. Not bright and acidic. Wet: dark, smooth orange and cinnamon. It's the soft, sweet cinnamon. Dry: very smooth tobacco with hints of orange

    Nasty Woman

The patchouli is very dark and gritty at the beginning. I agree with the chewy quality people are getting with the fig. I feel like the honey amber oud helps to sweeten and smooth out the patch while it dries. Dry I get this combo as a nice base, and I get sugared quality over the top. I think it must be the loukhoum, but I do not get anything I can identify as rose. Just a general, candy like sweetness. So glorious, glad I caved and bought a bottle! ETA: after some more wear I detect the littlest bit of rose among the sugary-ness!

Imp: super tropical coconut rum Wet: coconut gets a little less sweet and the rum comes out more Dry: well blended tobacco and rum, sweet and earthy. The coconut is creamy and light. Probably a bottle!

In the imp: patchouli and ylang ylang. Wet: the red musk trickles in over the patchouli. Dry: The patchouli, myrrh, and red musk blend together really nicely. Very smooth. Some heady ylang ylang floats over top. A very sexy, slightly dirty blend.

    Sin

I knew I needed a bottle as soon as I opened the imp. The patchouli is smoothed out beautifully by the amber and the sandalwood. It's a thick, warm, rich scent. Heady and resin-sweet. I get just a dusting of a soft, sweeter cinnamon.

    Crossroads

At first I get a sweetish floral incense, it's a little dark and herby. Pretty sure of the jasmine. It stays roughly the same as it dries, getting less sweet and more mossy. A very nice staple incense.

    Sagittarius 2016

I bought this for my guy who is a Sag but I had to test it too! He is a botanist and this sounded just so perfect for him. In the bottle it's a light, fresh pine made bright and a little spicy by the tomato leaf and saffron. On wet the pine really comes out but as it dries it is softened by the other woods and the moss. On me there is a nice base of very soft brown leather with moss and a touch sweet pine over it. On him it's similar but not as sweet and soft. The pine retains a little bite, and I catch a little more cedar, tomato leaf, and saffron.

This is a beautiful dirty coconut scent. It's just a little sweet. The patch is perfectly dirty and is somewhat smoothed by the coconut. This is a perfect non-tropical coconut.

In the bottle: super sweet vanilla heavy root beer. Wet: Same with a little leather. Dry: The sasparilla and vanilla cream get a little less sweet and balance out with the black leather which really helps to ground the scent. There is a touch of smokiness from the leather. I love this. I didn't think I needed to smell like root beer, but maybe I do?

Fresh and Blooming as a Rose

I love this! It's such a pretty rose. Soft, sweet amber and white rose combine with sweet, creamy snow. So soft and pretty, nice for when Rose Red and Peacock Queen are just a little too much.

I get a mix of heady florals, if I had to pick one that sticks out the most it would be jasmine but just by a hair. I definitely get a little clove as well, and a little juicy nectarine. It's nice but it doesn't stand out with my skin chemistry.

I get dry, astringent lavender and eucalyptus. But it's not a super strong eucalyptus, it's fairly soft and not so mentholated/Vick's like. I do not smell any anise/licorice but my guy does. This does seem to help me get in a very relaxed sleepy state!

    Glasgow

At first it was sharp, and a little astringent. But it softens to nice heather and just a breath of sweet blackberry underneath

    Dragon's Blood

This smells like a cherry-toned, almost spicy gardenia on me. Not really my fave thing.

    Baghdad

Warm and low profile. Mostly saffron, amber, and sandalwood. I get a little rose and musk over it. Very nice.

In the imp: sweet, candylike violets. Wet: Sweet violet and rose. Dry: powdery sweet violet with a little pink rose. This is one of the better violets to me, but still is not for me.

    Hellcat

In the imp and on dry the almond smells like cherry cough syrup but that burns off. It finishes very warm and nutty with no traces of cherry. It's sweet, creamy, with just a hint of spice. This feels perfect for the holidays

    Embalming Fluid

The lemon is almost bitter at first, but then the tea comes in and softens it up. It's fresh and soft, but not as zingy as some other of the other blends that I would put in this category (Shanghai and Kumiho come to mind). Eventually the lemon fades out completely and I am left with a very quiet green blend. Update: This time I don't get bitterness on application. I get more green tea than, before or at least I'm better at detecting it, green but with a bit of warmth. I agree with myself that the lemon isn't super zingy, and it leads to the blend being refreshing but in a serene way.

    Rakshasa

This is a very dry and unsweet sandalwood to me. Very woody. I get rose and patchouli behind it, but it's mostly sandalwood. This is really pretty, there is something about it that is just so natural. It feels like something I would wear to the beach.

    The Unquiet Grave

This smells crystalline, but not minty. I get a mix of these florals, white and clean but also frozen in time. It's almost sweet and aquatic. Very interesting scent!

    This Wan White Humming Hive

Sweet, creamy beeswax incense. Absolutely stunning. At first it's strongly honey-beeswax, and then fades over the incense. I get a little of that salty-sweet-musky ambergris. Gorgeous!

    Dead Leaves and Sugared Cardamom

This is a warmer dead leaves to me, probably the cardamom leaning it this way. It's a simple, earthy sweet scent.

    Die Nacht

This is bright and funky! (I have to agree, it does smell a lot like Avobath!) Normally I don't like verbena but there really is just a haze of it. Mostly lemon rind and green musk. But it's not too sharp or zesty, the amber sweetens it a bit. I may need a bottle for summer!

Dead Leaves, Chamomile, Red Roses, and White Tea

In the imp: Dead leaves, and herby chamomile with a touch of sharp white tea. Wet: Similar to in the imp. Dry: Faint dead leaves, just a bit of dryness. Mostly I get white tea (not sharp now), with a touch of chamomile. The chamomile feels fresh, not too dry or herbaceous. There is a light air of sweet rose as well.
