    On Crime and Punishment

This frankincense is very dry and woody on my skin. The balsam adds a dark green freshness. As it dries I get more polished amber peeking out, and just a hint of cardamom. I agree this is a solemn and serious scent.

    The Donkey's Tail

Smudgy, clean, and a bit sweet. Lavender and a pink sugary sort of note (peony?). Beth I would do anything for a bottle!

    Hare Moon 2023

Spiced hay and cacao first on, a little on the sharp side. As it dries it softens, getting more herbal from the hops and chamomile. The sandalwood feels snuggly.

    Gloomily, Gloomily

Beautiful smudgy grey-lavender scent. Fresh on I get lavender and a soft aquatic note, with a hazy musk. As it dries so does the rain, and it gets slightly fuzzier and a bit creamy (but not milky). The lilac pokes out as well as the tea adding a faint freshness. So so pretty!

    Red Rose Hair Gloss

Was going back on forth on whether I *needed* this when I have plenty of Peacock Queen HG as well as Rose Red HG. Glad to say I think it is sufficiently different! Definitely a less fresh, more velvety rose like Peacock Queen but less jammy. The musk jumps out at first, spicy and rich and I get gorgeous wafts of tobacco and fir trailing behind.

    Snow White Lotion

Classic Snow White in a beautiful thick lotion. Sinks into the skin quickly, no residue. Of the few lotions I've tried this so far has the best throw - not as strong as the perfume, but a bit more detectable than the lotions I've tried thus far.

    LE TITS NOW

Fizzy lavender snow, with a gorgeous soft musk that comes out on the skin. The fizz and musk are very prominent on me in the wet stage, with the lavender and snow returning as it dries. I would agree it is in the Snow White realm of snows, and a sweet TKO-type lavender. It has amazing throw!

    Black Butterfly Moon 2025

Blackberry syrup in the bottle, with a hint of violet leaf and tuberose. On my skin the blackberry fades way back, and gets less sweet. The tuberose and myrrh come forward, as well an ink note. The orchid and rose come out a bit more as it settles. It becomes a slightly fruity floral melange, with not one floral jumping out of the crowd. It is backed by the darkened incense. A shadowy scent but not heavy.

    Night-Scented Orchid

Sweet airy jasmine, with a hint of subdued citrus. Swirling, humid, mysterious. I agree there's something fruity without being Fruit. Something sheer and dusky purple about this scent. Stunning!
  10. Crusty, salty bread with a hint of warm oregano. Really lovely and surprisingly wearable. Also makes me hungry.

    Eshe, A Vision of Life-In-Death (2016)

The florals start off with a very clean vibe, but as this dries on me I get some dark earthiness coming in. The florals soften a bit dry, a dark amber and the herbs support. Mysterious and intoxicating.

    Australian Copperhead (2016)

In the imp this smells like a citrus-y bubblegum, I think it is something about the combination of acai and neroli. On my skin it is much the same, but even fruitier. Unfortunately I don't get any of the other notes as the acai just sort of takes over on my skin.

    On Talking

In the imp I get the incense and a dry, reedy note with a hint of green that smells like papyrus in other scents. On my skin it is drier, more papery with that slight vanillic edge. The tea comes out on my skin as well, sweet and slightly woody. The whole scent feels sheer but with a depth. Gorgeous and definitely bottle worthy for me.

    The Witches

Delicious honeyed vanilla cream, with the pumpkin coming out a bit more as it wears.

    PSL: Pumpkin Snake Latte

Snake Oil forward, with a good dose of cinnamon and clove. A creamy coffee trailing in. Delicious

    Mercurio Transita Davanti Al Sole

Yuzu cuts through first, followed by sweeter orange notes, with a lanquid lavender underneath. As it dries I get a note I assume is the musk, clean and bracing. This feels bold and brave Vs a happy bubbly scent I usually find in citrus.

Hungry Ghost Moon: Honey and Summer Herbs Hair Gloss

Oh summery wildflower meadow indeed! Not super floral, but a beautiful fresh green herbal with maybe like a clover honey overtop. Regret not getting a bottle of this one. Really great throw.

    Snakes in the Coffee Beans

The coffee note reminds me a lot of Woman Putting On Her Stocking. Roasty and rich, sweetened by the Snake Oil. Perfection!
  19. Syrupy blackberry and the classic BPAL fizz in the bottle. On the skin the blackberry is more less sweet, more earthy and natural back by a softer fizz. The tuberose is a beautiful heady halo, and I agree with the above that this feels like a witchy incense. Smells like an elegant witch's cottage in autumn.

    The Grindhouse

Wet this is All Iris and it threatens to go musty-sweet on me as it is prone to do. Dry it softens a bit, less sweet but still the most forward note. Just a bit of fruity red musk pokes out underneath.

    Apollo’s Chariot

In the imp this was incredibly muted to my nose, myrrh and amber smothering the neroli. Wet the neroli leaps out, but quickly settles in again. The mallow is very prominent. Golden and smudgy, a haze of sunrise kind of scent.

Blood Moon: Pomegranate and Labdanum Hair Gloss

A pretty and pair-able pomegranate scent! The labdanum embellishes the pomegranate with a warm resinous haze. Deep and slightly cola-like but not full on fizziness.

    Cottonmouth

In the imp the florals feel a bit jumbled, bright and clean but hard to pull them apart. On my skin it is much more orderly, Snake Oil made squeaky clean and breezy. The linden blossom is first and foremost for me, followed by passionflower, and maybe just a tiny bit of waxy greenness of lily.

Hungry Ghost Moon: Tomato Leaf and Red Pepper

Beautiful fresh green yet earthy tomato leaf with just a hint of brightness from the pepper. Very pretty garden scent

    Hungry Ghost Moon 2025

Yeah that's a funky little guy! The wet stage is very confusing to my nose. Juicy green notes trailed by tomato, with warm beeswax and sourdough clamouring for the spotlight. Settled on my skin it's like the memory of pizza in the air while a herbal green candle is burning.
