    Valentine's Questions Part 2

2/11 If you could have one "unselfish" wish (but personal) what would it be? For my sister to get the house of her dreams without having to deal with crazy sellers anymore. 2/10 If you had to choose SHOES or PURSES? Shoes. No question. I'll stuff things in my pockets, bra, wherever if it meant I got to keep my shoes. If you could have 5mL of ANY ONE BPAL scent, what would it be? I guess it would have to be Haloes as I where it often enough to wonder why I never got around to getting a bottle. Now, if it was ONLY one for the rest of my life...Devil's Night 2006. Loose tea or bagged tea? Or both? I've spoken of my inability to tea properly. 2/9 Who are your fantasy five? 1. Christian Bale 2. David Tennant 3. Joshua Jackson 4. Zachary Levi 5. Nathan Fillion or James Roday. I can't choose! 2/8 Are there any books you particularly want to read that you don't mind being 2nd hand (or 3rd or 4th )? I have no problem with second hand books, many of mine are. I'm also quite open to being enabled to new authors. It is why I love the book outlet so, I read books I never would have when I go there. Do you like gardening, growing vegetables, house plants? Need any small tools, seeds, labels? I don't garden. I did help build a nice little fence though for my parent's garden. Are there any soundtracks you'd be interested in getting a copy of? You'd have to see the Amazon wishlist for those, I'm pretty sure there are a bunch on there. 2/7 Do you have any personal heroes / heroines and why? Jim Henson. All that creativity in such a wonderful man. Are there any languages or countries that you're really interested in? I'd like to relearn French (I can still read it passably, but unless I'm asking you out on a date or where something is, I'm awful). I've only ever gone to Canada, so really all countries interest me, but especially the UK and Europe. If you could be in any fictional universe, what would it be? (Harry Potter, Firefly, Lord of the Rings, Silent Hill, wtv.) This is wicked hard. I would have to say the West Wing universe, where the politicians actually govern for a better country, where the system works almost as it should and where they celebrate "Big Block of Cheese Day." That isn't really interesting though, but it would be more peaceful. Harry Potter would be cool if I got to be a wizard, other than that it would be pretty normal. The BtVS verse would be scary and quite possibly awful, as would the Doctor Who universe if I didn't get to meet the Doctor. I would really like to try Jareth's labyrinth to see how I would do. 2/6 If you were a student at Hogwarts, what house would you be in? Ravenclaw. I'm a space junky. Love anything galaxy, space, star, etc related. I'm even getting a milky way tattoo one day. And I am a total Star Trek geek. Anyone else? I do! Only mildly with the Star Trek though. If you like tea, what are your favorite kinds? Fruity, sweet, chai, plain, black, green, red, white? See above. What's your Patronus? Non-Potter fans, what's your Spirit Animal? It would be a cat or a bunny, or something ridiculous like a platypus. 2/5 How do you feel about handmade stuffed animals? Love them. Are there any accessories you'd really like? (Keychains, little purses, etc.) Hair accessories, always. What are your favorite animals? Cats and Bunnies. Chipmunks are cute. Is there anything you've had to give up that you really miss or want back? Maybe something a witch could help out with? If there is, I've forgotten it. I've lost a few books but I don't really miss them. Well, there was an old copy of Hans Christian Anderson fairy tales that I lost back in elementary school. I've bought a new copy since, but it isn't the same because it doesn't match my Grimm's fairy tales. They were both translated by Mrs. E. V. Lucas and published by Grosset and Dunlap. My Grimm's is slowly falling apart and is red. They may have been a set. Ah ha! http://www.biblio.com/details.php?dcx=264442862&aid=frg, but that price is crazy outrageous. Other books that I lost are both by Anne Rice. Belinda and Blood and Gold.

    Valentines SW Questions

2/4 Are you opposed to vegan baked goods? Or baked goods in general? Not all. I'm a sucker for a baked good. What's your favourite flower? I love the look of lilies and the smell of lilacs (comes from living in Rochester, lilacs are part of our lives) For those that have dogs, if I were to knit them a sweater, what colour would you like it to be? No dogs and the cats hate when you do stuff to them. Lip balm: Yay or nay? If yay, what are your favorite kinds (brands, consistency, whatever)? The more all natural the better. Currently I've got a few tubes of the prarieland herb balms. I do prefer ones in stick form to the ones in pots because I hate getting my fingers dirty. 2/3 I custom mix nail polish, a process called 'frankening'. If you were my witch, would you enjoy a custom 'franken', based on whatever colors/theme you chose? I love nailpolish, I've been dying to try the bpal ones, but really I only ever wear it on my toes and I haven't even done that in months. Since everyone is spending the same amount of money on this swap, would you be interested in seeing the cost breakdown of each item in your package? If my witch wants to do so, that's fine. I have no feelings on the matter. Do you like keys? Love them. When in high school I had an old skeleton key that I wore on a chain around my neck. Do you like guessing who your witch is, or would you prefer to know? Do you mind knowing? I suck at guessing, but I would like to know at the end for a proper thank you. If it's going to be obvious who your witch is, would you rather she played the ninja and sent one big box at the end, or smaller packages along the way? See above, suck at guessing. What color are your eyes? Brown. If you had to choose a color for a nightie to sleep in what color would it be? Blue. Though lately I've been sleeping with pants, socks, shirt and hoodie. It's been cold. 2/2 Would you like or accept an energetically-charged item or gift? Something that had power poured into it? If so, do you have a particular purpose that you'd prefer? (Love, protection, money, etc.) SUre, no preference that I can think of. Do you have any significant upcoming events in your life you'd like something for? A child/yourself graduating from high school/college? Are you buying a new home or car soon? Moving in with someone/getting married? Taking a new job? Moving to a new part of the country/world? My sister is getting married in July, I should be moving out in the spring, but that is about it. Ooooh! BPAL's beloved alicia_stardust is having a contest! If you're my Witchee, would you like a chance to win these earrings? They are very pretty. How are we feeling about burlesque? Dunno. Never really thought about it. Is there anything you're lusting after in the Villainess update? Torchsong definitely. Either smooch or soap, it takes me forever to get through the whipped. 1/26-2/1 What is everyone's take on Valentine's Day? I don't really feel one way about it or the other. Do you like traditional Valentine's Day colors (red, pink, white, more?) ? I do. A Favorite love poem? This is hard. Let me think. Probably Annabel Lee. I adore that poem. Also, Shakespeare's Sonnets. There's a CD of them being read by actors and I never remember the title or to buy it when I do. I wonder if I wrote it down somewhere. Ah ha! I'm pretty sure it's "From Shakespeare with Love" or "When Love Speaks" we listened to one in class back in 2005 (I loved that class it was about deconstructing gender with cross-dressing in Elizabethan Literature). One has Alan Rickman, the other David Tennant. I really can't remember which one it was. Sorry. What's everyone's favorite semi-obscure (or underappreciated!) animal? What is your favorite sign that spring is coming? The smell of mud. Do you like hand-knit Things? I do. For those of you with pets, would you like pet things? Toys, treats, etc? They can have treats, but they have two cabinents worth of toys and make toys out of everything. What's your favorite Love Story? I like the love stories where it isn't spontaneous love at first sight stuff. I like the oens where people who have known each other for a while discover new feelings or where two people love each other even though they shouldn't and it often doesn't work. Would anyone like receiving naughty/sexy things? Not particularly. I have quite a collection. Who on the thread likes attending Ren Faires, SciFi/Comic Cons & the like? And do you dress up for them? I attend the Sterling Ren Faire every now and then but never dress up. Do you need any accessories for your phone, computer, mp3 player, etc.? Not that I can think of. What are your feelings on gently used CDs/DVDs? Don't mind them at all. I buy all my cds used. First five songs on the "Top 25 Most Played" list on iPod. Now, this is kinda warped because I've been rereading the TWOP recaps of Doctor Who so I've had the soundtracks on in the background. Doctor Who, television series score~Song For Ten Doctor Who, television series score~Doomsday Doctor Who, television series score~Abide with Me Doctor Who, television series score~The Face Of Boe Doctor Who, television series score-This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home Would you like a mix cd from your witch? Would love one. Are you interested in receiving gifts representative of Witch's country or culture? Sure! Do you like candy? What kinds? Anything with caramel, nuts or chocolate and I'm a happy girl. Do you play WoW? Nope. Would you like one of those Plush Microbes? I find them very cute, just never could decide which one I like best. I've been leaning towards gangrene and Herpes really has no right to be so adorable as a plush. What are your feelings on Mardi Gras? I tend to forget about it unless someone mentions it to me. Would you like homemade sewn stuff? Any fabrics to avoid? I don't like the feel of velour, or anything scratchy, but that is about it. Do you need any kitchen-related gadgetry? I'm awful at this. I know there are things I just can't think of them. I'll come back if I think of it. Would you like new nail polish? Do you like incense and/or scented candles, and are you able to burn them in your home? If so, what kinds of scents do you like? I do. I'm not particularly foodie with candles. I can't stand chocolate or cookie scented candles. Fruits are good, as are aquatics or spices or even just vanilla. My two current favorites are Halloween Night and Tamboti Safari by Partylite. Boxes? For Bpal (bottles and/or imps) or otherwise Yes, the more storage the better. Would you use a natural sea sponge? Probably not. Not a fan of sponges. Are you interested in bacon chocolate? No. Coffee, hot chocolate, or tea? Coffee or Hot Chocolate. I keep trying tea but am convinced that I can't do it right so if there is a tea for idiots kit that could be awesome. Would you like some of my favorite recipes? I love recipes. Would you like posters, pictures, art? Would love it. Would you like soaps? Especially from Paintbox? And ESPECIALLY the Valentines Special Edition Soaps?? I just love soap. New question--I'm calling this "could never happen in a million years": Your Witch is perusing the wares at a local yard sale. S/he looks down and sees [insert impossibly rare item that you've always wanted but could never afford] with a $5-10 sticker on it. Sheepishly s/he takes it to the guy behind the folding table. "Do you know what this is?" s/he inquires. The gentleman states that it belonged to his mother/sister/grandmother/Great Aunt Beulah and he thinks it's for, like, hair or something. With a trembling hand, s/hes pays the man and heads home with the inconceivable riches. So, what is this unobtainable miracle your Witch found? It would probably be a very old copy of a book. Doesn't really matter which one, but probably a classic or something. I have a 1930s Nancy Drew and a 1930s complete works of Shakespeare that I adore. Do you like salted caramels? Never tried them. Imagine that someone hands you their wallet and sends you into a really good bakery. They have everything, from breads to brownies, cookies to croissants, anything you could imagine, and you're allowed to pick out five things for yourself. What do you pick? Donuts, Orange Danish, a slice of cake, a slice of pie and then something completely random, It gets asked every round but sockdreams? Love socks, though toe socks and I currently are on the outs. Do you like alcoholic beverages? If so, what is your preference (beer, wine, liquor...)? Don't drink. Are you into steampunk? A little.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE journals. I've gotten out of the habit, but there was a time when there was a journal/notebook with me at all times. What are your thoughts on Halloween decorations? LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. I had to restrain myself at the dollar store the other day. I wanted it all. What tarot card do you most identify with? Dunno. Do you like Celtic things? (Clothes, jewelry, pictures, etc.) Again with the love. I once had a Celtic knot work ring that I lost. I wore it all the time. Would you like more contact from your witch? (I'm talking particularly about email) Since I have had no contact from my witch (not sweating it just yet) I would really appreciate an email/e-card or something to know that my witch is alive. Can you receive flowers at your address? Would you prefer food or a plant instead? Any of the above. 9/23 Who collects ACEOs/ATCs? Don't collect, but would love to start. Switch Witches, which shoes do you own that are your favorite? What are your "daily drivers"? Well, the sneakers I wear daily are just to go to work in so they don't count. Neither do the work shoes. So it would either be my pair of Nike Flip-Flops (comfiest ever) or my converse. If you could describe yourself in 5 words, what would they be? Tired, Nervous, Proud, Smart, Capable Do you collect new/used stamps? Will you like to get stamps on your mails? Not a collector. Stamps are cooler than the stickers/metering. Any WKAP you're excited about? None, really. How do you feel about stationary? (pens, notepads, cards, pencils, etc.) LOVE IT. 9/21-22 The New update is next week.....Is everyone ready for the Yules and everything else in store? I haven't even tested my Weenies yet, so not really. Cake or death? CAKE! Are there any foreign food products that you'd love to get or to try? Um, not really. We eat pretty diversly and you can find anything at Wegmans. Literally. Tea lovers, loose or bag? Paraphernalia? There aren't many kinds of tea that I like. 9/20 Would you object to annonomous postcards (real ones) from your witch before the big reveal??? Yes! I would like ANY sort of communication from my witch. 9/18 If Beth made a perfume called "switch witch" what notes would be in it? I suck at coming up with scent descriptions. What is your favorite cookie type? I have yet to meet a cookie I don't like. My favorites though are chocolate chip, pumpkin, blueberry, white chocolate macadamia nut, m&m (mostly because the dough in the middle tends towards the undercooked), oatmeal, and these super soft melt in your mouth sugar cookies that my sister's boyfriend's mother (or step-mother) makes. Do you like to find out there's a package on the way or to receive a tracking number to stalk, or do you prefer surprise packages? Surprise packages are always fun, but if I know something is on the way I make an effort to check the mail (the other people don't and sometimes at 1:30 am I just don't want to walk to the mailbox). Packages usually end up on the doorstep or in the screendoor so that was a long way of saying do whatever is easiest for you. BPTP Cravings The Pumpkin Pie Bath oil, the Weenie Roomsprays, the Triple Dagger and Belladonna yoga pants, the Carnaval Diabolique, Mad Tea Party and Tripple Dagger t-shirts, and any of the nail polishes. Alcohol? I don't drink. Do you wear lip gloss/lip balm? If so, what flavors/scents? I do. I like it in a tube so I don't get my fingers icky and I prefer it without petroleum or petroleum-based products. My favorite 80s ones are Back to the Future, Footloose, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, the Breakfast Club, Adventures is Babysitting, Big, Beverly Hills Cop, The Karate Kid, Clue, Dirty Dancing, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Real Genius, Top Gun, Short Circuit and more. Let's face it, I just adore movies. The $5 movie bin is my bff. Do you like Villainess soaps? What are your favorite scents? I do. My favorites are Killer Beez, Krakatoa and Jai Mahal. I do already have backups of those so I would most be interested in more of the muds (blush and embargo specifically) and the new custom scrubs (as I am out of all scrubs). Do you mind artificial colors in your food? Not really. Who wants hair pretties?(headbands, barrettes, pony-o's, scrunchies, bobby pins, hair clips, etc) I love hair pretties since I wear my hair up/back more often than not. If you were my witchee, would you like any of the scents/sizes that are available on clearance? I like candles in general so go wild. I'm not a big fan of pine or ozone type scents in candles. I am on an origami crane kick recently, so I wonder if anyone will be interested in origami crane earrings, origami crane in a glass vial (~1.2cm wide) phone charm/pendant or just a container filled with cranes of different sizes. Honestly, the cats would eat them. How do you feel about clothing/accessories made from animals? Anti-fur, leather, shells, etc.? Does even faux wig you out? Oddly, I love leather but not fur. Has nothing to do with animals and more to do with the texture. How do you deal with stress? What's your favorite way to unwind? Hot shower and sleep, possibly a book or a movie. That is pretty much my solution to all problems. At work, I rant and rave a bit in the back where no one can here me or I clean things. You're given the opportunity to apprentice at any trade (or craft) of your choosing for the period of one year. Your mentor may be any currently living person. Which field of study would you choose, and who would be your mentor? Wouldn't be able to decide. 9/16 Who is musically inclined? What instruments (voice counts) do you play? Would you enjoy sheet music? I sing in the car but that is about it. I used to sing all the time but got out of practice. I would have no use for sheet music. Favorite musicals? Uh, all of them. Like cookies, I have yet to meet a musical I don't like. My favorites are Wicked, Phantom, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rent, Sound of Music, the Buffy Musical, Dr. Horrible, Cinderella, Grease, Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, Once Upon a Mattress, Crazy for You, Victor/Victoria, Velvet Goldmine, I even like the High School Musicals. Which of the seven deadly sins is most likely to be your undoing? Probably Wrath, possibly Envy. Anyone want a nickname and embroidered headband from PandaBite? Not particularly. I have seen a lot of yankee candles haters..... personally i like yankee candle (some of them, anyway). do you or don't you, and if not, what candles do you like? this assumes you like candles. otherwise, what specific home fragrance do you use? I do like the seasonal Yankee candles, the halloween/autumn ones particularly. Aside from candles I use the BPTP room sprays for home fragrance. Would a "gift" donation to one of the organizations/causes you support be a great gift, or a lame gift? if you were to do so, the Nanowrimo Young Writers Program is always a good choice, or possibly find a local to me school district/classroom on donors choose.

    Fall 09 SW Questions

Unlike last year, I'm going to try and keep these in one post. We'll see how that goes, because I kinda like having the shorter ones. On to the questions! 9/15 Are there any Gods, Goddess, or other mythological figures of whom you're particularly fond? Super villain or vigilante? Which would you like to be? Which would you like to receive? This is a tough one, as much as I would like to say vigilante, I'd probably end up a Super Villain. Receive? I haven't the foggiest. What mythical or fantastic race of creatures (dragons, unicorns, griffins, elves, dwarves, faeries, etc.) do you most identify with, and why? Identify with? Not so much. Enjoy? Fairies and elves. How do you feel about Dia de los Muertos? Are you interested in sugar skulls? Catrina (or other) skeleton figurines? Not my thing. Do you have a favorite poem or poet? My favorite poems change all the time, same with poets. I really enjoy poetry. 9/14 For the crafty people out there: would you prefer something crafted or crafting supplies? Either or. Can you use pill boxes, a hard ID case, coin purse, etc? Yup. Any songs you are desperately into at the moment? Not really. What's autumn like in your neck of the woods? What do you love and/or hate about it? I love autumn in Western NY. It is why I could never move away. The air gets chilly, but just cold enough to bite your cheeks and make you grab a scarf. It isn't often cloudy during the day, usually only at night and you get a bit of fog rolling across the ground in the early morning. The leaves turn fantastic colors and smell so crisp. You go out in a long coat, a pair of boots and just walk and absorb the wonderfulness around you. Towards the end of October you get the smoke in the air as people start their fireplaces and wood-burning stoves. Then there are all the activities. Pumpkin and apple festivals, haunted hayrides, ghost tours, haunted houses, and all that. What's your favorite product(s) at Trader Joe's? Don't have a Trader Joe's. If you're caught in front of the tv, what are you watching? Right now, the Torchwood marathon that was on BBC earlier today. Usually it is Top Gear, Leverage, Psych, True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, Glee, Chuck, Top Chef, Project Runway, Burn Notice, L&O Criminal Intent, and whatever else catches my eye. Any Amy Brown art fans? Oooh, those are pretty. How do you feel about Halloween music? (mix CDs, what have you) Would love Halloween Music. I had a CD once but again, I lost it. Currently I listen to this super cheesy cassette tape of Halloween rhymes I bought through a scholastic catalog in 2nd grade or so. Who else is reeeeeally looking forward to Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland? I am. Is there a store that you love which does not have a location near you (but that has a physical presence somewhere, not just online? Why do you love it so much? Nope. Lolcats....yeah or nay? Sometimes. What is your favorite creepy folk story or legend? Darby O'Gill and the Little People followed by The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. If your witch were to either write something for you or put together a collection of ghost stories, would you rather have it in writing, recorded as an oral telling, or both? That would be awesome. Written please. If you had the funds to comission an original painting for yourself, what would it be of? What would it be like- colors, size, style? Haven't a clue. Probably autumn-esque with a creepy cottage of sorts, or even just a quaint old school cottage. I saw one once at a festival that I adored. 9/12-13 What's something you're really looking forward to in the semi-near future? Uh, not going to work? My cousin is having a party-lite party and I can finally order more of the Halloween Night votives. That is about it. What fictional character do you most identify with and why? This is tough. I will come back to this. Could you use a 'travel' imp case? How many should it hold? I could use one. I'd say at minimum it would need to hold six or so. As a witchee, would you prefer to have many little packages sent to you throughout the round with a not-so-big final package or fewer things throughout the round with one huge final package to seal the sweetness? No preference, whatever works for you. What is your idea of the perfect evening at home? Long hot shower, comfy pants, a snuggly cat, a good book and some music in the background. A warm beverage and some chocolates. Are you on any social networks (MySpace, Twitter, LJ, Facebook, Bebo, etc)? If so, make with the links! Are you open to new friends? I'm vedesca on LJ and Facebook is under my full name. Totally open to new friends. What kind of socks? Soft and warm ones. How often do you update your wishlist? I update the BPAL one usually after a swap is arranged and then again after it has been received. My other ones get updated randomly. May I help you fill out your costuming wardrobe (assuming you costume)? Are there articles you are seeking to enhance your a) Halloween costume, Renfest attire, c) Cosplay, d) Steampunk accouterment? Haven't decided on a Halloween costume yet. Don't do any of the others. So, who has a store or ETSY shop or knows of a shop of a fellow BPALer that everybody needs to check out? Don't have a shop and can't think of any. Who are your favorite artists/illustrators/art periods? Will come back. What's your stance on cranberries? Don't like them. Do you mind receiving used (in good condition, of course) CDs or DVDs? (I know this question was on the questionnaire about books, but I didn't see one for DVDs or CDs.) Not a problem. See my answer to the book question. Do you have a crush on anyone famous? Do you have a crush on any literary characters? Would you like fanfiction or fan art based on this/these people? Not particularly. You're at home, or out, and you want a snack. Something that will get you through to the next meal, or through to the end of school or what ever. What do you grab? Whatever is closest. Lately it has been nuts. Do you have a favorite bpal bottle art? Gothic Horror, because it is creepy just like the stories are. Are there any decants from the Halloweenies, Literary Vampires, Gris Grimly, or Hellboy that you would be interested in receiving? I'm pretty sure I've ordered what I wanted through the lab or a decant circle. Wait, except Boo. Didn't think about that one. And Suck it. 9/11 There has been a lot of talk about chocolate, but none about Candy! What is your favorite Candy? What candy do you hate? Candy buttons, taffy, gummy fruit slices. Do you have a Blu-Ray player? Nope. Do you have any objections to receiving downloads? Is your internet connection fast enough for you to download large files like music easily? Are there any songs, albums, movies, or TV shows that you can't find/haven't been released that you want? Downloads aren't a problem. 9/10 Are you interested in things like home remedies for ailments, cleaning solutions, etc.? I think I've answered this before somewhere, let me know it I haven't. If you do any kind of craft, could you use supplies? What kind? knitting needles, yarn, amazing fabric, pinking shears, cool thimbles or pincushins, jewelery making supplies, beads, etc.? I'm randomly crafty so random supplies would be good. What's your favorite pain-relief remedy or ritual? Long hot shower, lots of sleep. Do sounds make you happy? What ambient noises make you smile? Thunderstorms. When you receive your SW packages...do you like receiving things that are individually wrapped inside? or unwrapped? or both? Whatever makes things easier on you. Of course, we're all going to be grateful no matter what our witches give us, but for the record, what is your anti-present? Tell us something that you think your future witch might give you that you absolutely, unequivocally DO. NOT. WANT. Nothing that I can think of, but I'll let you know. What BPAL scent have you never tried but always wanted to? What scent have you tried and LOVED, and haven't been able to get more of and why? Empyreal Mist. I have a wee little imp. I know we're all scent sensitive here. What are your favorite non-perfume smells? Day in the life stuff? Outside in the fall, fresh-cut grass, smoke from a fire, the fresh smell of the lake. Coffee drinkers, what types of beans to you like? Kona, Sumatra, Kenya..etc. How do you like them roasted? Sadly, I only drink instant coffee because I am lazy. Do you like flavors, such as hazelnut, vanilla, etc. in your coffee? I do. Who has a birthday falling in this round? Mine just passed. For those of us who like chocolate, do you like anything /in/ your chocolate, like fruit, nuts, or for the more daring among us, chilies? Fruit, nuts and caramel are all good. Are there any childhood shows/movies/games/books/etc. that still hold a really special place in your heart? So many! Batman the Animated Series, Doug, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Ducktales, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Clarissa Explains it All. All the rest I will have to come back to. 9/9 Super power? The super speed of the Flash because he can do anything, vibrate through walls and shit, ever hover and can eat whatever he wants. If I send you whole spices or coffee beans, would you be able to grind them or would you prefer them preground for your convenience? Pre-ground. For the tea and coffee drinkers: Opinion on tea- and/or coffee-related accessories/etc? (Teaware, sugar crystals, infusers, tea chests, etc)How do you take your coffee (or tea)? Black or with cream and/or sugar? I take my coffee with cream and sugar, the few kinds of tea I've actually liked have just been a bit of sugar. The only accessories I would need are more mugs. Restaurants you'd like a gift certificate to on Restaurant.com? I don't really go out to eat. In your perfect world it is chocolate and...? sleep. How do you scent your home: tarts, reed diffusers, BPAL, candles? tarts, bpal and candles. What's your favorite dessert treat? Ice cream? Cake? Pie? Fudge brownie cake with pie flavored ice cream on top? I have yet to meet a dessert I didn't like. Do you believe we control our destiny, or does our destiny control us? What is with all the thinky questions this round? I think things are preplanned to a point, but that we have the control because you never know which points are planned so you have to treat them like none of them are. What one thing that is missing from your life would you like to have above all else? Right now? Sleep. 9/8 What was your favouritest job ever, and why? Haven't found it yet. Which three albums would you take to your apocalypse bolt hole and how would you power the generator? Oh crap. As of today, I would take the Best of David Bowie so I can appreciate all his incarnations, the soundtrack to Wicked because it makes me laugh, cry, and sing out loud and Affirmation by Savage Garden because it makes me smile, dance and sing. All three of these have passed the car test of favorite albums (can they play over and over in the cd player for months before I decide to change them). I would power the generator by water. I'm assuming I'd be somewhere underground in this general area and as our basement is always wet, I'd tap into the wall and make a little water wheel, with a bicycle backup. What GC scent have you been putting off getting since it'll "always be there"? I've been pretty good about buying the GCs I'd use in great quantity and keeping the imps of those I use sparingly. I guess I've been meaning to buy Verdandi for a while, but I've long since used up my imp and cannot recall whether I really loved it enough or just used it up because it was the imp in my purse. Are you interested in things like home remedies for ailments, cleaning solutions, etc.? Interested to read/learn about, yes. I don't have a lot of ailments that aren't solved by Excedrine, and the liberal application of lotion and/or antibiotic ointment. Cleaning solutions, we already use vinegar/baking soda for most things. 9/7 Any cooks? Could you use anything cooking related? Aprons? Cookbooks? Measuring Cups? Recipes? Herb/Spice containers? Fancy Spices? Dish Towels? Cocktail napkins? Amazing Beaded Pot Holders? (like from our very own Pottersville! ) Something else? I cook and bake quite a bit. Cookbooks rock, recipes are fun, aprons I didn't "borrow" from work are fantastic. Are you an avid reader? What's your favorite book/series? I am, my current to read pile is about 10 books high, but then they tend to get lost in the shuffle so there could be as many as 20 floating around in piles. My favorite book/series is probably The Vampire Diaries by LJ Smith. It's like my security blanket. What's your favorite candy to stock up on at Halloween? The little mini rolos with like 3 rolos in a pack. That and laffy taffy with halloween jokes on the wrappers. What are your phobias? Well, nothing that really incapacitates me, but bees scare me, being in tight and enclosed spaces with no sort of light, and any other situation like that (including crowded rooms). What is your favourite flower (or plant)? I really like the looks of lilies and tropical flowers. Duct tape purses and wallets and things are pretty darned cool. Who else thinks so? Cool, but not practical for me. An anonymous benefactor gives you $500 (or an equivalent amount of money in your currency of choice) with the following stipulations. You must spend all of it within a week: any money left unspent must be returned. You must spend at least half of the money on yourself. You may not use it to pay off debts or bills of any kind. What do you do with the money? If I couldn't pay bills or debts, I'd probably go buy clothes but take my sisters with me and get them something nice. Who likes coloring books? I do, but I haven't colored in ages. Do you have a Good Reads profile? If so, make with the link! If you don't have one, go make one! No I don't. I'll see if I get around to making one. 9/6 You're in the kitchen at the end of a pay period and groceries are pretty scarce. Do you take the five ingredients you find first and make something fabulous, or do you order take out? I eat buttered noodles when it is the day before grocery shopping and there isn't much left in the house, that or toast. If you could decorate/redecorate any 1 room in your home, what would it be and how would you decorate it? I would redecorate my room and all I would really do is get better quality furniture and repaint (though they don't make this color anymore and it makes me sad). Any rabid sports fans out there? What teams do you root for? I like to watch if the game is good and well played and unpredictable, I don't care about the team. What's your favorite animal? (You can have more than one.) Cats and bunnies. This is how the world ends... zombie apocalypse, robot uprising, alien invasion, return of the elder gods... which doomsday scenario do you prefer (or make your own!)? I think that more likely it will be like a plague of somekind, kinda like in the Stand. However, I'm all for any apocalypse that doesn't involve me being ill, so I'm going to go Buffy style with a portal to a hell demension. In the year 2525... if man is still alive... what sort of future do you imagine? (apologies to anyone who gets that song stuck in their head!) Same old conflicts, different locations. Do you believe in magic (or magick, if you prefer)? What does it mean to you? I do, but any further explanation will end up being a wordy essay on my beliefs, which while interesting to me, it is almost 3am. If you found the puzzle box from Hellraiser, what would you do with it? ( and would you be able to resist playing with it? ) I've never seen Hellraiser. 9/5 Do you like pinup art/images? I do. What are your plans for Halloween? Have you made any yet? Do you have any traditions? Well, I'll be at work for most of it, then at midnight I start writing for Nanowrimo. I think at one point I'll be at my sister's watching cheesy movies (which is the closest we come to a Halloween tradition). Who are your BPAL forum buddies? You know, people I could conspire with to Witch you! Um, I don't really have any. What is your favorite color? Blue. Any other steampunk fans/lovers? I thoroughly enjoy steampunk! Describe your ideal picnic lunch. Where would you go? Who (if anyone, and yes there can be multiple people) would accompany you? What sort of food would you take? And, of course, if a picnic lunch sounds like a horrible idea, feel free to say so! I'd probably go with a friend, have some fruits and breads and cheeses and go somewhere somewhat secluded but naturally beautiful. 9/4 Any Gamers here? What kind? Board games? RPG? Miniature? MMORPG? I love board games but rarely can get people to play so I mostly play scrabble against myself on the computer. Is anyone playing this round of SW into ABJ? (asian ball jointed dolls) Not me. What is your favorite Halloween icon? Tough one. Can I just say all of them? I love the pumpkins, the boo ghosts, the bats, all of them. Imagine that you're given a shoebox-sized time capsule, and you are asked to put any number of items in the box that symbolize who you are. The items can be may be anything you can imagine, and money is no object, but they must fit within the box. Which items do you choose? There would probably be some BPAL, a selection of books (probably Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, an LJ Smith and Anne of Green Gables), a Wendy's nametag, a nanowrimo sticker, a snoopy doll or toy, a batman toy and something completely random like a glow stick or deck of cards. Are you involved in any long-term, ambitious project? something like decorating your house or saving for a trip to the other end of the world, for example. I'm saving up to buy a house. Favorite kind or take out kinda burger? Whats your burger preference? Veggie, meat or ???? Cheese burgers. Doesn't matter what is on them as long as there is cheese. Whats your favorite childhood toy? A mattress. I'll elaborate later. If you have a pet, what kind of gifts would be good for them? Not toys, they have enough. They do like treats though and the nip is hilarious to watch. Do you Tweet? What is your Twitter name? I have a twitter account but have used it once. Are you on Ravelry? What is your Ravelry name? Nope. 9/3 What are everyone's favorite Halloween-y/Autumn-y/spooky movies? Are there any you don't own but would like to? Oddly, aside from the original Buffy, Scream, and Hocus Pocus, I own none of my favorite Halloween/Spooky movies. I have no idea how this has happened and I am appalled. Off the top of my head those would be: It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Shining (miniseries), Casper, The Canterville Ghost (any and all versions, but I find myself partial to the Patrick Stewart one, because well, Patrick Stewart), The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Psycho, the Gary Oldman Dracula, Disney's Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Worst Witch (why do I not own you???), Teen Wolf (don't ask), The Faculty, The Blair Witch Project, both Addams Family movies, Beetlejuice, both Scary Godmother movies (again, don't ask), Little Monsters, Urban Legend, The Lady in White (scary AND local), the Are You Afraid of the Dark series, The Lost Boys, The Frighteners, Once Bitten, Psycho Beach Party, and that's all I can think of right now, but there are more. Are roasted pumpkin seeds and home made chex mix the best fall snack foods, or what? Home made chex mix is amazing. Whats your favorite pie, my dear SW's? How could I pick just one? Pie is the best food in the planet. I'd probably have to go with blueberry though if forced. What kinda socks ar you wearing tonight? None, I just got out of work so off they came. Do you like socks? Blankets? Wrist warmers? Arm warmers? Headband? Shawl? Or what kind of knitted thing would you love the most? Any but the headband, I'm a cold person so they would all get used frequently. How do you feel about ghost stories? Do you like to tell the old tales around a campfire? Read true accounts on the web way past your bedtime? Do you like to pick up a good anthology of Poe stories on a blustery day? Or is all that too scary for you? LOVE THEM. At some point I had this huge collection of ghost story anthologies, basically any scary story anthology I could buy at a school bookfair I did, and now I have none and I don't know why. Who here is LOVING Warehouse 13? Never seen it. Nother question! Coffee or Tea? Hot Cocoa. Interested in locally produced products? Food, skincare or both?Olive oil? Lavender oils or soaps? Sure, but skip the lavender. Does anyone in here wear a lot of dangly earrings or collect pendants of all kinds?? How about hair clips or pony tail band things? Yes, yes and yes. What is your favourite historical period? I can't choose, most historical periods fascinate me. Right now I've been on a American Colonial kick but that is because I have just reread the Witch of Blackbird Pond. What other hot beverages everyone likes for fall? Cider. Did you order anything from the most recent update? Um, a bit actually Liz, Cake Smash, Mlle. Lilith, Fortune Teller, Lilith vs. The Giant Crab, Falling Leaf Moon, and bottles of Fairy Market (for mom) and Xiuhtecuhtli. Vampires or Werewolves? Or some other monster? Vampires, with a soft spot for all monsters. What sort of odd or regional foods do you crave? Steak and onion potato chips.

In the bottle it is sweet and smells greenish-blue. There is a bit of a floral to it, like floral water and wood. On my skin the scent stays the same. I have no clue what type of wood it is, it is fairly strong . It is clean and slightly dark and as it dries more florals come out. After has been dry for a while, I get what I'm pretty sure is white rose (well I'm like 79% sure). It is reminiscent of Tiki King, but like Tiki King had a fling with Allison Gross. A blue/green/woody/floral with an herby kick lovechild.

Without opening the bottle, the scent is so strong I can smell it. It is definitely warm and sweet, it smells similar to fire but I can't think of what it is. What specific type of fire is it? It's not a campfire, or even fireplace smell. It isn't the hotdog type smell from that crap wood we had a few years ago. It isn't wood burning stove, or the smell of a grease fire, it isn't the smell of burning paper either. It is more heat and wood than fire, but not the smell of the wood in the smoker. This is killing me. I know it. I'm getting pleasant feelings from the scent memory. GAH! It is very familiar and bugging me so. It is a very specific hot wood...I got it! That sweet hot sticky wood smell is of wood immediately after having cut it with a power saw. It smells like high school stage crew and when we built the bookcases. AMAZING! In the bottle it gets sweeter and lighter like it is covered in syrup. On my skin it is all sugar/syrup and hot wood. I'm getting a little smoke, then a lot of smoke, and then the smoke fades allowing some cinnamon to come out. Overall I get hot smoky wood with a dribble of cinnamon and sugar. Also, this lasts forever! It survived hand washing and didn't really start to fade until late that evening. Eventually the hotness of the smell goes away and leaves a very sweet wood in its place. For almost an entire day afterwards the edge of my laptop smelled fantastic.

In the bottle I get almost a sharp cologne type smell. Wet on my skin I get a jasmine that is rounded out by other floral notes. I want to say lily and a wee bit of cherry blossom in the background giving off some sweetness, but I am awful at floral notes that aren't lilac and rose. As it dries some lavender comes out and the jasmine fades quite a bit. Once it is completely dry it gets very very soft with something else, a citrus maybe? This one has thrown me for a loop and if it didn't fade so fast on my skin would be completely wearable. The jasmine in this is not the slap you in your face jasmine and once it dries it leaves a fresh airy floral behind.

    Getting caught up

How do you feel about winter-themed but not really holiday type decorations? Things like snowflakes and fake icicles and the like? Love 'em Do you have a personal 'Good Luck' charm? Maybe you have a goddess figure to remind you of your Inner Goddess, or maybe you have a beautiful Cross to represent your faith...Or maybe you wear a Hand of Fatimah for protection....That kind of thing. I have one of my grandmother's crosses that I wear when I am feeling really down. If you were to attend Hogwarts, into which House would you be sorted? I'd like to say Ravenclaw but it would most likely be Gryffindor. Would you be interested in some knitted wire jewelry, like this? Sure. What is one REALLY expensive, completely outrageous thing you would LOVE to get but totally don't expect to ever get from anyone? Nothing I can think of. Do you like coffee mugs? Quick Q&A Because I am tired.

I wanted to ask a question: are there any rare (or even uber-rare) scents that you'd really like to try? I didn't put any uber-rares on my wishlist because there didn't seem to be much point. I'm not going to expressely search for them because there a ton of scents that are easier to get a hold of that I want to try. However, Underpants, Mitzvah, Corazon, Mabon and Unseelie are all on my secret if-the-chance-ever-comes-try-it-list. Does your forum name have a special significance? Refer to something or someone you admire? Reflect your interests? Come on, spill! It's my name and Batman's sidekick. Works on two whole levels. What's your favorite texture? Hmmm, fabric wise it would be flannel. Non-fabric-wise I love the feeling of bare feet in lush green grass and the super soft feel of petting my cats. I dislike velour and can only deal with velvet in small doses. Soft wool is good, scratchy wool makes me scratch. What's one luxury item you want to pamper yourself with but haven't yet? Uh, an HDTV and a blueray player but I figure I should keep saving for the downpayment and then buy the things for the house. Do you prefer arm warmers to the wrist, to the base of the fingers, or half fingered? Any of the above. Any favorite cartoon characters? Disney, Sanrio, etc? Any from the DC animated universe with my favorites from there being Batman, Terry McGinnis Batman, The Flash and Vigilante. Other Cartoons, I used to love Buttercup from the Power Puff Girls while I was in college, Wakko Warner as well but in High School. Disney-wise I enjoy Dory from Nemo, Scar from the Lion King and Robin from Robin Hood. There are others but my brain is kinda bleh right now. Have you (or maybe the younguns in your family) been exposed to the Webkinz craze? You know, I've seen them around in stores but never had the interest to figure what they were all about. I suppose it is like the beanie baby thing. I just don't understand the desire or the purpose.
  12. Who's your favorite playwright? I can't decide. We'll go with Oscar Wilde for the sheer fun of The Importance of Being Ernest. Anyone into physical activities? For instance- I'm training to become a Combat Archer in the SCA, and something I would use would be an Archers glove...is there anything you do as a sport/hobby in which you might need equipment? I need to get more physical, but I'm not really in need of anything. Are there any witchy type supplies you're in need of, or would like to try etc.? Herbs, smudge sticks, resins, tarot/oracle cards, incense burners, pretty tools, stuff like that? nope. On nut intolerance - does it include things like almond/coconut oil bases and essential oils in perfume oils, skincare products, scented candles and the like? I'm not allergic to nuts, but if the almond oil is too strong it makes me ill. I love to eat almonds but really hate the smell. If you are a fan, who were your favorite Buffy and Angel characters? Buffy, Giles, Wes, Angel. I liked early Willow and late series Xander, disliked them most of the time though. Spike was always fun and I really enjoyed Connor in Angel season 5. Do you like Shakespeare? Which plays? I love Shakespeare. Love. Much Ado About Nothing, Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Othello and the sonnets. Question for the Class: Favorite Musical? This is like the pick your favorite book/movie questions. I can't do just one. Wicked is made of awesome. Newsies, Phantom of the Opera, Into the Woods, Sound of Music, Rent, Singing in the Rain and so many more. How do you like your chocolate? White, milk, bittersweet, as dark as possible? Plain, with flavoring, with chunks of stuff in? Fairly traditional, or weird and experimental? I like milk chocolate, fairly traditional, sometimes filled with things or with stuff in. I'm not a big chocolate person, but I do enjoy it. Chocolate covered pretzels I could eat all day. Favorite animals? Least favorite? I like cats, have a low tolerance for dogs. The rabbits we have in the yard are cute, so are the chipmunks but they are cute in the see 'em for a second and then they run away way. How do you feel about Heifer International? Don't remember a damn thing.
  13. What are 3 places that you'd like to visit, or re-visit? I want to go back to DC and spends some time at the Smithsonian. I want to redo my previous beach vaction, doesn't have to be Viriginia Beach but it does have to lack my siblings. I would like to visit the UK someday. Literary erotica. Who doesn't love it? I have some, not a lot. I really have to be in the mood for it. I generally prefer lots of story with some sex to sex with some story. Are you planning on buying anything off your BPAL wishlist during the round? I'm not going to purchase anything, but I may still swap. I will let you know though. Do you read graphic novels/comics? Which ones? I mentioned Batman in my questionnaire. Other comics I've been reading are the Buffy/Angel ones. I'm subscribed to both After the Fall and Season 8. I've read one of the Firefly ones. Those Left Behind I think it is. I've also read Watchmen. Which witches would want Bpal boxes? Or imp cases? Hmm. Currently I keep my bpal in a three layer colored rubbermaid container and I like its portability. However, it is getting rather heavy. A small imp case for my purse would be awesome. How about a short - or longer - piece of fanfic? Would be awesome. I read Phantom of the Opera fanfic (Erik/Christine) which reminds me, I need to catch up on those. I also read Labyrinth fanfic (Jareth/Sarah) and Buffy Fanfic. I used to read a lot more, but have gotten out of the habit. One of my current things is trying to find fic where Buffy is paired with Christian Bale's Batman because that is awesome. I like my Buffy strong and witty. A lot of fic tends to rag on her which I really dislike. What is the weirdest and/or most practical thing you are not buying for yourself right now? The thing that you probably should be buying, but have been putting off in lieu of something else? Socks. I never remember when I am at the store. Same goes for fruit snacks (though I am brand picky and off the top of my head I can't think of it). Would you like handmade piece of calligraphy as a gift? Sure. What jewelry are you wearing now? What jewelry do you wear everyday-or do you change jewelry all the time? I have on a necklace. Wait. No I don't. Weird. I change my necklaces daily to match my clothes/mood. Lately I've only been putting in earrings when I've been going out and my hair is up. I don't have any simple earrings, they are all hoops and dangly. Chia Pet, do you need one? No thank you. Houseplants and/or things to put them in: thoughts? My cats eat them. Haven't had houseplants in a decade. Do you like baskets, jars and other interesting containers? Filled or Empty? Sure. Either or. One year someone gave me a gift set in this awesome bamboo basket and now it holds all my soaps. Who are your forum friends, person or people your witch can contact for ideas? Um...my last witch Nekomata and I have a lot in common. I've swapped a bunch with SurrealReality.

    Questions 3

What cartoons did you grow up watching? Any animated shows you still watch? Where to start 'cause I love me some cartoons! Batman the Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Batman Beyond (I am missing Batman: SubZero, Teen Titans and Static Shock from the DC Animated Timmverse). Anamaniacs, Tiny Toons, Ducktales, Doug, Darkwing Duck, Thundercats, Tailspin, Gummy Bears, Rainbow Brite, He-Man, She-Ra, Danger Mouse, Powerpuff Girls, and that is all I can think of right now. I'm not a big fan of honey, I bake with it and use it on pancakes if I am out of maple syrup but that's it. What is the biggest problem or sad thing in your life? Of course, I mean the saddest or worst thing you can confess here. Um, life has been pretty good lately. I used to be anorexic but have had that under control for sometime now. Same with depression. I'm still raw over my grandmother's passing last September but that may have more to do with the Christmas season than anything else. I am keeping from my friends and family that I've started up contact with an ex (we had a long saga like relationship that makes neither of us look good but if you want to know just ask) who I may have been wrong about but I don't know. Right now it is just an email here or there and his mother (I'm pretty sure) is quite ill. I don't know where it is going and I don't know what's going to happen and I can't tell anyone who knows me about it because they'll make judgements I'm not ready for. What fashion item or style do you like, but never wear? Rings I love but don't wear because of work. Hats I don't wear because my sisters are cruel mocking creatures sometimes. Do you like to cook? if so, what? Would you like things like spices, cookbooks, recipes, tips? I cook and bake all the time so any and all of the above are awesome. Do any of you like puzzle books? I like them (not soduku or crosswords though), but I don't do them. Usually only during long waits and car rides. Last time was in the Spring while visiting my sister in the hospital.

    More SW Questions

I love Christmas music even though I'm pagany -- how about you? Not pagany but I love Christmas music. My all time favorite christmas song is David Bowie and Bing Crosby's Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth. I also adore Goo Goo Dolls' Better Days and the John Denver and the Muppets christmas album, the McKenzie Bros. 12 Days of Christmas, We Three Kings, O Holy Night, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman, Good King Wenceslas, Go Tell It On The Mountain, O Come All Ye Faithful, Carol of the Bells and other traditional carols. I love the Barenaked Ladies Christmas Album but I don't own it. Anyone else have a sudden and unexpected favorite BPAL lately? Well, the other day I put on some Midnight on the Midway from my bottle and the sugar has died out so it is a purple smokey awesome. Unexpected love would have to be Hellhound on My Trail. I adore it and only have an imp because I skipped it based on the iffyness of the notes and it is awesome and I am dumb for doing so. It's cold outside - what are your favorite drinks to keep yourself warm and cozy? Hot Cocoa or Hot Cider. Would my potential Witchee be up for some music stuff they'd never heard before if they couldn't understand the words? Yes. I have some french songs and a few italian that I love and have no clue what they are saying. What kind of candy/sweet treat would you like to receive? I don't chew gum because when I do I grind my teeth at night. Not a fan of smarties or sweettarts. I prefer my M&Ms to have peanut in them. I dislike Coconut based on texture. Anything with caramel is a big win. I adore chocolate covered pretzels but hate white chocolate or yogurt covered anything. Niagara Chocolates are the best ever.

    Switch Witch Questions

Anyone else a total nerd like me and would like DnD/Roleplay stuff (Dice, minis, books, corny tees, etc.)? My dad tried to teach us DnD when I was in middle school but we never made it after that one hour of teaching. I don't do other roleplay stuff either. Wow, that was wordy way to say no thanks. On a similar note, who likes yarn? What kinds/colors/weights/fibers? Handspun? Glitter? Funky art yarn made from shredded jeans, fake flowers, lace, sequins, and the tattered souls of your enemies? Other craft supplies you desperately want more of and can't live without? No to the yarn. Craft supply-wise I love paper. Different textures, colors, patterns. Be it for notes or whatever. Same goes for blank cards. Which witches would like hair accessories: clips, scrunchies, hairsticks, headscarves, etc? ANy but the head scarves. My hair is finally long enough again for hairsticks and I use clips and hair elastics every day. Hand beaded jewelry, yay or nay? Yay! To make up for the fact that I probably won't be able to send my witchee homebaked goodies, will Tim Tams in any number of varieties be an acceptable replacement? Sure. Is there any time during the holidays (or the rest of the round) when you'll be away from home for a significant period and it'd be best not to send anything by mail? Nope. I'll be here always. Speaking of which, how many Browncoat witches do we have?? And if you are, would you be interested in getting a Kaylee parasol? If not, would you be interested in getting a paper parasol hand painted with your favorite colors? The photo in the thread of the parasol was gorgeous. I'd probably end up using it often during the summer because the sun hates me. Everyone who wants a beaded potholder, please to be raising the hands! No thanks. We don't use potholders in this house, whatever kitchen towel is closest works. It seems like there are quite a few knitting witches, so I assume they are on the Ravelry forum as well. If so, what are your names on there so I can stalk you? Sadly, I do not knit. Would you personally rather get handmade jewelry or the beads to make something yourself? Handmade. Beads will get lost or stolen by evil cats.

Chaos Theory IV: Edge of Chaos

I went with 3 bottles and they all ended up really different. It was a blast! CDXXXI (431) Wet on Skin: Boozy. Lots of Booze. Drydown: Pink Grapefruit, sharp and tangy pink grapefruit. Wet though, as if you had just sliced into it and the juice is on your fingers. The booze has faded into the background for now. Dry: The booze is back and it's gin (arg!). Pink Grapefuit and Gin. This could have been in the tiki lounge, it smells so similar. CDLXXXVI (486) Wet on Skin: Ooh, woody. It is similar to Tombstone, I get wiffs of cedar over something creamy. Drydown: A sweetness, cream and fruit? Nope. Milk and fruit. Strawberry maybe? Dry: Warm wood, like the smell of a woodpile at camp after it has sat in the sun all day. Hints of the milk and fruit remain in the background. CDLXXII (472) This one was a morpher. Wet on Skin: Creamy fruit with flashes of mint? Drydown: A complete but fabulous change. It's that sweet aquatic I get from Selkie, the fruit and mint have gone leaving sweet watery fun. Awesome. Dry: Crap! Something in here went soapy on me. Now all I get is soap soap soap. Stupid skin. These would all smell awesome on someone other than me. Now it's time for another round!
