  1. In the bottle it is sweet and smells greenish-blue. There is a bit of a floral to it, like floral water and wood.

On my skin the scent stays the same. I have no clue what type of wood it is, it is fairly strong . It is clean and slightly dark and as it dries more florals come out.

After has been dry for a while, I get what I'm pretty sure is white rose (well I'm like 79% sure).

It is reminiscent of Tiki King, but like Tiki King had a fling with Allison Gross. A blue/green/woody/floral with an herby kick lovechild.

  2. Without opening the bottle, the scent is so strong I can smell it. It is definitely warm and sweet, it smells similar to fire but I can't think of what it is. What specific type of fire is it? It's not a campfire, or even fireplace smell. It isn't the hotdog type smell from that crap wood we had a few years ago. It isn't wood burning stove, or the smell of a grease fire, it isn't the smell of burning paper either. It is more heat and wood than fire, but not the smell of the wood in the smoker. This is killing me. I know it. I'm getting pleasant feelings from the scent memory. GAH!

It is very familiar and bugging me so. It is a very specific hot wood...I got it! That sweet hot sticky wood smell is of wood immediately after having cut it with a power saw. It smells like high school stage crew and when we built the bookcases. AMAZING!

In the bottle it gets sweeter and lighter like it is covered in syrup.

On my skin it is all sugar/syrup and hot wood. I'm getting a little smoke, then a lot of smoke, and then the smoke fades allowing some cinnamon to come out.

Overall I get hot smoky wood with a dribble of cinnamon and sugar. Also, this lasts forever! It survived hand washing and didn't really start to fade until late that evening. Eventually the hotness of the smell goes away and leaves a very sweet wood in its place. For almost an entire day afterwards the edge of my laptop smelled fantastic.

  3. In the bottle I get almost a sharp cologne type smell.

Wet on my skin I get a jasmine that is rounded out by other floral notes. I want to say lily and a wee bit of cherry blossom in the background giving off some sweetness, but I am awful at floral notes that aren't lilac and rose.

As it dries some lavender comes out and the jasmine fades quite a bit. Once it is completely dry it gets very very soft with something else, a citrus maybe?

This one has thrown me for a loop and if it didn't fade so fast on my skin would be completely wearable. The jasmine in this is not the slap you in your face jasmine and once it dries it leaves a fresh airy floral behind.

  4. I went with 3 bottles and they all ended up really different. It was a blast!

Wet on Skin: Boozy. Lots of Booze.

Drydown: Pink Grapefruit, sharp and tangy pink grapefruit. Wet though, as if you had just sliced into it and the juice is on your fingers. The booze has faded into the background for now.

Dry: The booze is back and it's gin (arg!). Pink Grapefuit and Gin. This could have been in the tiki lounge, it smells so similar.

Wet on Skin: Ooh, woody. It is similar to Tombstone, I get wiffs of cedar over something creamy.

Drydown: A sweetness, cream and fruit? Nope. Milk and fruit. Strawberry maybe?

Dry: Warm wood, like the smell of a woodpile at camp after it has sat in the sun all day. Hints of the milk and fruit remain in the background.

    This one was a morpher.

Wet on Skin: Creamy fruit with flashes of mint?

Drydown: A complete but fabulous change. It's that sweet aquatic I get from Selkie, the fruit and mint have gone leaving sweet watery fun. Awesome.

Dry: Crap! Something in here went soapy on me. Now all I get is soap soap soap.

Stupid skin. These would all smell awesome on someone other than me. Now it's time for another round!
