  1. Wet- maraschino cherries, very strong

Skin- Hello cough mixture, I remember this from childhood- please don't stay like this.

Dry- cherry and aniseed, getting better, then the anise amps into liquorice and the cherry disappears.

Try this if you love liquorice.

  2. Wet -Nag Champa - spicy, hippy scent

Dry- musky and wonderful, something sweet and spicy in the blend too.

Nothing like Schwarzer Mond to me- the Nag Champa sets it apart.

This is the scent of an incense filled Hippy shop and it's beautiful and worth hunting down.

  3. Gingery orange/tangerine, I like this as perfume, it's bright and natural smelling, it would make great scented body products.

It is a wake up scent but I'm not too sure about the vigour, verve and courage- I wouldn't mind getting some of those.

  4. Sweet gingery snake oil, I'm not getting the patchouli, just a little chocolate when wet.

A lighter version of Saw scaled viper

I don't think I'll need a bottle of this but recommend it to snake oil lovers.

  5. $14 dollars now from the lab.

    Copied from the site

The International Flat Rate shipping fee is $14.00 for all orders up to 20 bottles (or 240 imps); the rate jumps to $29.00 on orders containing more that 20 items that won’t entirely fit in the Flat Rate box. Shipping is free for all orders that exceed $500.

  6. Just wondering if anyone else in Europe had recent orders on the way from the lab? I got a CnS on 13 April -- normally packages from the States only take about a week to get here, but two weeks isn't uncommon, so I wasn't really expecting it till this week and the longest a package has ever taken is nearly 4 weeks from the Trading Post. And I'm sure that the delays in flights due to volcanic ash will also have disrupted air mail. All that being so, I don't think it's worth contacting the lab about it yet.

On the other hand, it would be great to know if anyone else is experiencing delays or has had European deliveries made during the last fortnight

I'm waiting too  CnS 12th April, not received yet. I've had one international package posted on the 12th arrive and one posted after the flights started again, but nothing from the in-between dates. Must be stuck in a warehouse somewhere waiting to be posted on. I'm trying not to be too impatient, but I really want this order.

  7. Wet- the scent of an open tea box

Dry- cinnamon tea, soft dry dusty cinnamon, not strong overpowering artificial cinnamon. This gets sweeter and softer.

Overall - I really like this and need to search out more. Many thanks to bheansidhe for the frimp.

  8. I spent plenty of time in Glasgow in my late teens. I bought this without checking the notes, for some reason I expected it to smell of the Glasgow of my youth i.e. pubs, wooden tables drenched in McEwan's and cigarette smoke, coal fires and damp weather.

Instead I got a rosy floral  I don't get the blackberries and I don't think heather smells of much anyway, so it would be hard to spot. This is a pretty scent soft sweet florals.

Verdict : keep imp, don't need a bottle.

  9. Wet-sweet citrus, like sugared freshly squeezed lemon juice

On skin- green tea with lemon

Dry- the lemon fades, green tea dominates.

Verdict- very pretty, light and refreshing summer scent. Very like Elizabeth Arden Green Tea but without the synthetic feel.

I love this and will wear it when the sun shines, a keeper.

  10. Wet-Fresh Grapefruit tea, lovely sharp and refreshing, the perfect summer scent.

Dry- the tea note fades quickly, leaving a very light but bright grapefruit which disappears all too quickly.

This is a great, light, go anywhere blend, the only drawback is the quick fade.

Verdict- wonderful if you don't mind frequent application. Keep imp, search out more.

  11. Wet - green and almost spicy, smells like the herb Lovage that my mother used to grow for soup making. This could be the Cypress note.

Dry- powdery florals peeping out from under the greenery.

Overall- a surprise like, I usually avoid florals, but this is not typical.

  12. Wet- the smell of boiling blackberry jam, sweet but tart berries.

On my skin- slightly more acid smelling, much more wine or vinegar like.

Dry- are there roses here? Rose is a note of doom for me and I'm getting something like it here.

Beautiful wet, doesn't work on me dry, may keep the imp to smell from the vial.

  13. I tested a number of decants together, this one found a space on my shoulder as arms and knees were taken.

A quick first test, fairly pleasant creamy orangish scent nothing outstanding. Off to bed time, lay there thinking what is that amazing smell, tracked it down to the Okayaki shoulder, wow this is :wub2: , great throw and staying power. I shall be needing a bottle of this one, definite favourite of this years lupers so far

  14. Wet- wonderful full bodied red wine- I really want to drink this but I don't want to smell like it.

On skin - as soon as it touches my skin, I get vetiver, vetiver that stays and does not let the coffee out.

Dry-disappears all too quickly leaving a faint plummy incense.

I like this, I may need to seek out a full imp of a partial bottle.
