  1. 2006 Bottle, gift from my Witch.

Apples and more apples, with a soft creamy covering of butterscotch. I don't love caramel scents ever, but this is different. its soft and buttery, not nose burning sharp caramel like Ventiloquist Dummy. the apples win out, right to the end. This is one foody scent I can wear.

  2. Rice wine is predominant when I open the vial, I not getting any citrus yet. I really like this at first sniff, it reminds me of two of my favourites; Loosening of the Obi and the original Hungry Ghost Moon. As it dries the Lily and Grapefruit appear, blending with the Rice wine to give a pretty, light, soft scent which fades quickly.

  3. Fruity !

Wet this is mango with a tantalising note of tomato leaf in the background.

Dry it loses the delicious tomato greenness to become all mango, it's a little powdery and sweet now. I don't get musk or fig, I like this but probably not enough to search out a bottle.

  4. This is fairly light and keeps close to the skin.

Wet I get a hint of frankincense with a little berry floral

As it dries the musk blends beautifully with the frankincense. The dry down reminds me of a lighter sweeter version of Raven Moon.

    Verdict: keeper.

  5. In the bottle this is vanilla snow. Wet on the skin, a blast of sinus clearing menthol mint is released.

The snowflakes dries down to minty vanilla Snow White. I prefer this to both Snowblind and Snow White.

This lasts for several hours on the skin.

    Verdict: Bottle worthy keeper.

  6. Wet- smoke and dampness.

Drying- Lemony smoke. It's unusual and strangely good: Like the comforting familiar childhood smell of a pipe smoking uncle's tweed jacket, with leather patches on the elbows.

Dry- I miss the initial smoky-ness,but the lemon has faded into a well blended fresh scent.

Verdict- a surprise keeper and bottle wish.

  7. I have a plum tree. Every year I cook pounds of plums with cinnamon and spice. This smells just like stewed plums, with an extra dollop of spice. There is something in this oil that reminds me of a scented candle. I love it, but I'm not too sure I want to smell like candle. It would make a great room scent.

  8. Lovely concept, a scent for a toddler's tea party, can't wait to try.

Wet it's all Tea time in Roswell with extra strawberry jam

Dry it's not too sweet and it's very pretty, unfortunately the rose note that pops out on dry down is a deal breaker for me.:(

  9. Soap, pretty white bars of bath soap. Soft and fresh floral, very lovely and feminine and not me at all.

I'm hanging on to the imp though for nostalgic sniffing as it reminds me of my childhood home, in a village, when supplies were bought in bulk and the airing cupboard always had a stack of bath soap from Boots the Chemist with names like Spring Flowers or Summer Lilies . It amazes me that the scent of 10 bars of soap can be distilled into the tiniest drop of oil.

Try this if you love florals, particularly magnolia.

  10. In the bottle-floral-not what I expected, no smokiness or vetiver.

On the skin- Oh what a change, there' some mint and snow there, maybe some cucumber, the florals have disappeared, leaving a perfect minty fresh blend. I like this a lot.

  11. I did so well with my first ever chaos I ordered two more.

696- a perfect number for my number obsessed daughter, divisible by three and palindromic, a really good omen so we tried this first.

In the bottle very faint spice, possibly some almond and maybe the tiniest milk note. On the skin, this is perfect, beautifully blended, I can't pick out any notes but it is absolutely gorgeous. :wub2:

686- Wet green vanilla smell (like Love's Philosophy). Unleashed from the bottle, mint/eucalyptus and vanilla.

On the skin the eucalyptus is dominant initially, then the mint with a background of vanilla. Where Tokyo Stomp is sweet Murray mint, this is snow covered icy green mint vanilla. I wasn't too sure about this to begin with, as it is a little weird but it's growing on me. I think it will become a favourite too.

So that's three out of three keepers, I wish I had ordered more now.

  12. Pretty fruit scent. This smells more like blackcurrant than blackberry to me with vanilla and lots of sweetness.

It fades very quickly on me, dry down removes the sweetness and leaves a beautiful dusty fruit with a little spice.

  13. #117 This is a good number ( my daughter has this weird number thing, so good numbers divide by three or even better by nine.I have sent years looking for seats , lockers etc. with the right numbersto keep her happy, so now even I know this number is good!)

In the bottle, first sniff :joy: they sent me Glowing Vulva, the same sweet creamy vanilla note.

Wet. OK it's not GV it's got orange peel and a metallic edge added.

On skin. This is so beautiful, it's everything GV was plus this great golden metal note. This could be a steamworks blend, the same vanilla as in Antikythera plus the metal of Robotic scarab.

Dry. Creamy vanilla sweetness. This is perfect for me it could have been custom blended. I am so lucky to have it.

  14. Wet this is medicinal and root-beery. As it dries, the vanilla dominates , soft buttery vanilla. I've kept this since it was released but don't reach for it very often to wear. I'm reluctant to let it go as if does small wonderful, I thik it may be a great layering scent, I shall experiment.
