Beeswax fans, you must try Bunraku Theater! Unless pumpkin or tobacco are death notes for you, it's a lovely beeswax forward scent. Not gonna lie, I ordered two and I hesitated to post this because I want all the bottles for myself but it's too lovely not to mention.

If we're including atmosphere spray, Geisha and Samurai is very much blood orange dominant.

Secrets of the Hamachi is a lovely tangerine atmo. Geisha and Samurai is a hair gloss! with prominent blood orange. I love both of these.

Adding Hidden Pearls to the pear love thread.

Throwing up props for Pillar of Flame. It's a lovely incense based fragrance, showcasing labdanum. Plus I love the artwork and this thread needs a necrobump for all the incense loving peeps.

ETA, must add the Golden Champa single note to these recs also.

For a rainforest rather than evergreen forest, I'd like to pimp Enraged Orangutan Musk (five, dark, aggressive musks, ambergris bouquet, Malaysian rainforest plant extracts, black amber and orange peel.). It's one of my favorite things.

Any new scents you guys would recommend for my lilac fix? Driving home today, I saw many lilac bushes in bloom and I started craving their smell. I am hoarding Dragon's Eye but I'd like some more lilac dominant blends.

This certainly smells malefic. Dragon's blood makes an unholy alliance with a powdery resin note. This is dry as bone on my skinistry. I can pick out the black musk, daemonorops, and cypress on drydown. My synesthesia is the red sands of Mars blowing through dried cypress branches.

I was hoping for more tobacco and wood notes.

I'll cellar it and retest, as black musk rarely works for me when fresh.

Very true to concept and I am glad that I was able to experience this but the blind bottle maybe was not a good idea.

Any thoughts regarding a replacement for Nocnitsa? I love the smell of moss in a forest, at night?

I never did get to try Nocnitsa, but have you tried Burial?

Given the similar notes, I should try it but I'm wanting more woods than dirt. Maybe I can layer Burial and Black Forest...

The Ninth Cage, which I have not smelled personally, is said in reviews to smell of wood and metal (iron).

Torture Queen has metallic notes.

Check out Wings of Azazel, should be easy to find an imp. Violet with resins. For sweet, violet candy, La Belfana or Faith. My absolute favorite violet however is Darkling Thrush. Every year I hope for a resurrection. If you don't mind gardenia, Le Serpent Qui Danse is violet plus vanilla!

How about the See Saw? I keep thinking it sounds great except the rum but there are still no reviews!

This thread has most of the cream and milk scents that I've tried covered but I feel compelled to mention My Baby and a Baby Goat!

This is pure milk and soft musk on me. So comforting, milk is so primal in it's soothing quality.

Maybe Jersey Devil with a layered dirt note? The moss/foresty parts were like Jersey Devil to me, but Nocnitsa had those added dirt / soil / earth notes.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll give it a try. Jersey Devil is already a favorite so getting a mossy dirt to go with it may help.

Hidden Pearls is like Black Pearl minus the hazelnut and add pear,yum. Mine is faint though.

Brown Jenkin and Blood Pearl have coconut but it's muted by the other notes, however I like both.

I don't smell any coconut in Perversion, but I love it!

Lovers and a Fan, definitely has coconut, but I'm not sure if the lemongrass is bearable, I'm hoping it mellows out with some aging.

Goblin has dry, husky coconut, but it's overpowered by the patchouli in my opinion, it's much better aged!

Shoggoth, is an odd coconut beast, who glows... phosphorescent!
