    Pumpkin Spice Everything

Just like everyone above has mentioned. This is pure pumpkin pie spice with a lot of cinnamon and a little nutmeg. It's so spicy that on me it doesn't tame down for quite a while. I also get that fleshy pumpkin smell when it's wet but it isn't super strong and it's definitely hidden in the background. Once it begins to dry though on my skin and to my nose it smells a little bit like Saw-Scaled Viper which I love a lot. So I am debating on whether to get a bottle or just keep my decant for the time being. After a few more times testing I think I will make up my mind.

    Visions of Autumn V

I agree with OctoberGwen in saying this blend needs some serious aging to let everything blend together and be cohesive. In the decant I get all vetiver all the time and literally smell nothing else (not that I mind because I love vetiver) but I just wanted to smell more. On the skin though it's still all vetiver for just about a short moment. As it becomes to dry a little the vetiver tames itself but not too much and this underlying sweetness begins to emerge and what I am assuming is either the tea or the apricot, come to think of it it's probably apricot because I can smell a barely there fruit quality. It's really nice but it's very odd and just different. I get no cedar at all and I would of liked too. Will put this away for a few weeks and see what happens.

    Lily Witch

In the decant it is really nice lime cookies to my nose and I really like lime so I was hoping for a more tart fruity floral smell once it hit my skin. But the moment it hit my skin I couldn't even stand it. It gave me this overwhelming wave of nausea and I really wanted to wait until dry down to fully give a opinion but as it progressed it just got worse and worse. The mixture of the lily, lime and this almost bitterness from the almond just really doesn't like me at all and I am not a fan of this one. Off to the swaps or sale pile with this.

    Visions of Autumn IV

Straight from the decant: I get gorgeous orange blossom with a teeny bit of verbena and a dark soothing quality from the myrrh. (It was very promising) Wet on the skin: WHAT HAS HAPPENED!! It went straight to lemon pledge or lemon soap Dry on the skin: Still lemon soap This had the potential to be beautiful on me but it just was a fail. Stupid skin

    Cerruti 1881 for women

Oh really? That is very very good news
  7. Here are some of my recommendations The Deep Ones- Black algae, drooping seaweed, salty brine, and crushed coral. Calico Jack- Sea air, driftwood, waterlogged kelp, and the memory of plundered spices sprayed over worn leathers, rough musk, and the salty wooden floorboards of the Revenge. Cthulhu- A creeping, wet, slithering scent, dripping with seaweed, oceanic plants and dark, unfathomable waters. Windward Passage- Breezes blowing off of the waters of the Caribbean: marine accord, seaweed, and bladderwrack. Octopus- Pale moss, white kelp, sea buckthorn berry, ambergris accord, somalian frankincense, rose geranium and salt.

Scent Recs based on your PERSONALITY!

Welcome to the madness dear Here are some of my recommendations Morgause- Earth sorceress and mother of Mordred, she is, in essence, the harbinger of King Arthur's doom and the downfall of Camelot. She is a sister, or sister-self, to Morgan Le Fay. A bouquet of five night-blooming flowers deepened by dusky violet, purple fruits and the barest breath of medieval incenses. Magic, Do As You Will- The ecstasy of magic and the power of transformation: frankincense, guggul gum, onycha accord, styrax, and deep purple fruits. Dana O'Shee- Offerings of milk, honey and sweet grains were made to placate these creatures, and it is that the basis of the scent created in their name. Lady Una- Honey musk, green tea leaf, blackberry leaf, vanilla bean, and fae spices. Leanan Sidhe- The name translates to “fairy, love of my soul”. A vampiric spirit and a dark muse, the love of the Leanan Sidhe is both a gift and a curse. These eerily beautiful Irish spirits drain the sanity and lifeforce of the men they inspire to artistic greatness. Her kiss infuses a man with depth of vision and feeling, otherworldly passion, and a sudden and ineffable understanding of the unending sadness that plagues mankind. Her perfume is a crush of Irish herbs and flowers, Gaelic mists, and nighttime dew. Kitsune-Tsuki- Kitsune-Tsuki are malevolent Japanese spirits, akin to western werebeasts: women are possessed by the spirits of foxes, who compel them to perform acts of wickedness and mischief. Asian plum, orchid, daffodil, jasmine and white musk. Iambe- Daughter of Pan and Echo and dear friend to Demeter. When Demeter was mourning the abduction of her daughter, Iambe was the only creature in heaven and earth that was able to lend cheer and laughter to the grieving mother. Her scent is one of comfort, beauty and joy: Sudanese amber, patchouli, rose, gardenia, gladiola and white tea. Good- Shimmering celestial musk with vanilla, white honey, acacia, and sugar cane. Hope that was of some help. Enjoy your time here and I hope you find many more scents to fall inlove with.
  9. Hi dear. I am like you and am not the biggest fan of florals. I do love rose but jasmine amps horribly bad on me and it takes a special scent for it to be toned down. I really hated magnolia until recently but I still am not the biggest fan of gardenia or carnation. Here are some of the recommendations I have for you. Some of these have worked really nicely on me and hope they are of help for you Lucy's Kiss- Created to represent the essence of Bram Stoker’s tragic heroine, Lucy Westenra. Seductive, wanton and deadly, but underscored with a soft, wistful innocense. The gentle scent of rose and a blend of Victorian spices. Darkness- Bottled gloom; the essence of oblivion. Blackest opium and narcissus deepened by myrrh. Les Fleurs du Mal- The scents of the blossoms of darkness, condensed into one perfume. Features a rose base, softened with lilac and wisteria. Hell's Belle- Sweet, smokey and sensually wicked. A thick, steamy scent, truly sinister in its voluptuous sexuality. The perfume of a demon’s favored consort, or of the devil herself. Oleander with wet, sweet mandarin, lush magnolia, a rush of deep musk and a touch of spice. Marquise de Merteuil- Stately, bold, aristocratic and cruel. Opulent galbanum and amber, glistening peach, and a bouquet of French florals, with a merciless undertone of jonquil and heartless vetiver. The East- The scent of the winds beyond the wall: bluebonnet, passion flower, freesia, jasmine tea, mint, thyme, and redcurrant. Venice- A complex, voluptuous scent that captures the robust beauty and of the Italian Renaissance: lemon, red currant, wisteria, red rose petals, heady jasmine, Florentine orris root, waterlily, red sandalwood, violet plum, and violet leaf.

recklesslysober......here are some of my recommendations The Lurid Library- The incense-tinged scent of forbidden tomes and the musk-laden remnants of infernal servants. Marquise de Merteuil- Stately, bold, aristocratic and cruel. Opulent galbanum and amber, glistening peach, and a bouquet of French florals, with a merciless undertone of jonquil and heartless vetiver. Egle- Ocean water, hyacinth petals, star jasmine, and fir. The Forest Reverie- A sunlit ancient forest, dotted with wild roses, grape vine, and queenly lilies, clothed in swirls of opium smoke. Iole- A serious, studious scent: fig, night-blooming jasmine, red sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, oak bark, leather accord, and black amber. The Book- Old, yellowed parchment paper, tattered leather bindings. There’s a distinct warmth to the scent, though it is ancient and brittle.

    13 Hours

This was my least favorite from the Labyrinth blends but I still really enjoy it for those certain days. It really does smell beautiful in the bottle with the mix of creamy almost powdery rosehips and the herbal quality of the ivy that at times can pass off as soap on some people. It doesn't turn that way on me though and I really love the smell of ivy anyway. The moss and stone give it that desolate feeling and it's haunting. A little gritty and a little earthy but still backed up with the greenness of ivy. Toward drying down on me that "dampness" that the moss and stone bring out stays with me and idk but I feel like the sharp part of the blend reminds me of something like Shattered....... Like broken glass. The rose still is present but it's almost faded completely into a softened whisper. I like it but like I mentioned it is only a blend for certain moods with me.

    Goblin Cider

This is such a really nice almost fermented apple, ginger cider both in the bottle and on my skin. A tiny bit of cinnamon (that is what my nose smells at least) emerges but it's just in the background giving it a little extra kick of spice. I really love it for Autumn.

    Sell me on patchouli?

Since you are a huge lover of rose you are going to absolutely fall inlove with Whip. It is sooo incredibly beautiful. It's probably going to end up being a big bottle purchase in the future.

    Sell me on patchouli?

What all did you end up purchasing besides Vixen? This is exciting (:

    Sell me on patchouli?

Here are some of my suggestions Crowley- Infernal musk, red patchouli, lilac cologne, mahogany, lemon rind, oakmoss, leather, and vanilla husk. Sed Non Satiata- A pounding heartbeat coalesced into scent: demonic passion and brutal sexuality manifested through myrrh, red patchouli, cognac, honey, and tuberose and geranium in a breathy, panting veil over the darkest body musk. Urd- Muscadine, black and red patchouli, cereus and nag champa. Sin- Thouroughly corrupted: amber, sandalwood, black patchouli and cinnamon. Al-Shairan- His scent is fiery, bright and thick with sweet sinfulness: clove, peach and orange with cinnamon, patchouli and dark incense notes. Masquerade- A festive, dazzling blend, layered in mystery and intrigue. Patchouli, ambergris, carnation and orange blossom. Tombeur- Deadly and seductive: vanilla-infused sandalwood, blood musk, antique patchouli, vetiver, lavender, bitter almond, amber, and a trickle of Snake Oil.

    Cerruti 1881 for women

You are very welcome dearest. I actually could give you a few more suggestions if you would like Jasmine Cottage- Camellia, jasmine, heather, orange blossom, osmanthus, wisteria, thyme, angelica, freesia, granny’s nightcap, and English wildflowers. (No sandalwood but the jasmine and freesia are absolutely beautiful in this one.) Black Swallowtail- Licorice bark with freesia, jungle orchids, elemi, Bulgarian rose otto, and jasmine sambac. (the notes in here may be a little far stretch but I think the mix of freesia and jasmine with the rose would be quite beautiful. Check out the reviews of both of these.) I would definitely give Vasilissa a shot. Imp that for sure because it is really creamy on the skin and softly feminine. I don't want to say it feels like a "skin" scent necessarily but it could definitely be close to one.
  17. I have tried all of these blends and Eat Me is a huge favorite as well as Shub-Niggurath. It's purely ginger cinnamon cookies on me and it's just beautiful. They are all beautiful in their own way (: I surely hope one of them is a winner.
  18. I looked up what Decadence has in it but there are no notes listed as it seems to have been a unreleased blend. But people did do reviews on it and they mentioned that it smells like it has almond, cinnamon, vanilla cake and ginger. Here are some of my suggestions for similar blends Bastet- Luxuriant amber, warm Egyptian musk, fierce saffron and soft myrrh, almond, cardamom and golden lotus. Eclipse- All the glory, warmth and majesty of the sun — darkened. A delicious blend of bitter almond, vanilla, frankincense and heliotrope, with a drop of cinnamon. Bengal- A sultry and unruly blend that emulates the ambient scent of the markets in ancient Bengal: skin musk with honey, peppers, clove, cinnamon bark and ginger. Inferno- The Dark Side of Fire: cinnamon, bitter almond, and neroli. Heavily spiced, torrid, and possibly conflagrant. Shub-Niggurath- The lust incense of a corrupted Astarte. A blend of ritual herbs and dark resins, shot through with three gingers and aphrodisiacal spices. Eat Me- Three white cakes, vanilla, and red and black currants.

    Cerruti 1881 for women

Some of these may be what you are looking for. I tried my best Butterflies, Flowers and Jewels Attending- An ethereal, iridescent, twilit scent, sparkling with mystery and innocent joy: white patchouli with provence rose, delicate freesia, pink tuberose, jasmine sambac, orange blossom, butterfly musk, vanilla orchid, and delicate spices. The Flowers Cleave Apart- Honeyed jasmine, white neroli, red sandalwood, champaca, and raspberry wine. Kubla Khan- Through sunlit caves of ice, roses unfurl amidst dancing waves of serpentine opium smoke and amber tobacco, golden sandalwood, champaca, tea leaf, sugared lily, ginger, rich hay absolute, leather, dark vanilla, mandarin, peru balsam, and Moroccan jasmine. Vasilissa- Creamy skin musk and blushing pink musk with soft sandalwood, white amber, dutiful myrrh, and star jasmine.
  20. I like both War and Wrath a lot but I do admit I reach for War more often. I reach for Le Lethe VERY often. It's sexy and still dark and so wonderful. Teehee some of the funniest things are when someone asks "What are you wearing" and you have to tell them the name and they scrunch up their face like "What in the world"

Scent Recs based on your PERSONALITY!

Welcome to the madness Here are some of my suggestions The Book- Old, yellowed parchment paper, tattered leather bindings. There’s a distinct warmth to the scent, though it is ancient and brittle. The Robotic Scarab- Polished metallic notes, glossy leather, frankincense, star anise, and thin lubricating oils. Witchblade- Antediluvian, sacred metal, glowing red musk, blessed frankincense, and antiqued amber. Black Pearl- Evocative of the sea's unplumbed mysteries. Gentle and lovely, but menacing and profound. Coconut, Florentine iris, hazelnut and opalescent white musk. Mary Read- Salt air, ocean mist, aged patchouli, sarsaparilla, watered-down rum, leather-tinged musk, and a spray of gunpowder. The Forest Reverie- A sunlit ancient forest, dotted with wild roses, grape vine, and queenly lilies, clothed in swirls of opium smoke. Autumn Overlooked My Knitting- For my knitter posse! A warm scent, as delicate as lace and as soft as cashmere, and as cozy as wool, punctuated with red currant for the blazing red of cochineal and surrounded a border of soft grey ambergris and a swirl of autumn leaves.
  22. I recommend looking at: Blood- A vital, bold scent, throbbing with sensuality. Essence of dragon’s blood resin, thickened with myrrh and cherry, with a trickle of clove. Dragon's Heart- A scent pulsing with vitality, warmth and insurmountable strength: dragon’s blood resin, red and black musks, a throb of fig and a sliver of black currant. Wrath- A scent aflame with rage, swirling in the red haze of hatred: dragon's blood spiked with black pepper, clove, and cinnamon. Fenris Wolf- The raw, untamable power of chaos. Rosewood, amber, red musk and a dribble of red sandalwood. Le Lethe- Red musk and sweat-damp golden skin musk with labdanum, golden amber, nutmeg, tobacco absolute, black orchid, and hemlock accord. War- Red ginger, black spices, patchouli, honeysuckle, and three blood-soaked red musks. Iole- A serious, studious scent: fig, night-blooming jasmine, red sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, oak bark, leather accord, and black amber. Spellbound- Perfectly enchanting! An irresistibly sexual, utterly rapturous blend of three roses, radiant amber, and sensual red musk. I hope I was of some help

Scent Recs based on your PERSONALITY!

Just to name a few (: Mary Shelley- The scent of absinthe, lightning, stormclouds, and laudanum crashing through a veil of soft Victorian oriental perfume. Shelley, Byron and Keats- Uncompromising idealism, haunted romanticism, fatal ennui, and a heady amount of scandal and vice: red roses and pale carnation with a draught of laudanum, smears of opium tar, a hint of absinthe, and mercury ointment. Eden- fig leaf, fig fruit, honeyed almond milk, toasted coconut and sandalwood. Lady Macbeth- The essence of ambition, covetousness and manipulation: sweet Bordeaux wine, blood red currant, thyme and wild berries.
  24. Haltija

Scent Recs based on your PERSONALITY!

Just a few off the top of my head (: Arcana- The essence of magickal enigmas and long-forgotten esoteric mysteries. Frankincense, rosemary, lavender, neroli, and verbena. Event Horizon- A disconcerting scent, heavy and oppressive, through which no light, no matter, and no spirit can escape. Black opium, labdanum, opoponax, black orchid, and benzoin. Masquerade- A festive, dazzling blend, layered in mystery and intrigue. Patchouli, ambergris, carnation and orange blossom. Wilde- A sophisticated traditional gentleman's cologne, with just the slightest taint of patchouli's passion, tonka bean's decadence, the philanthropy of bergamot, moss' cynicism, the sharp wit of lavender, and the hopeless romantic longing of jasmine and thyme. Languor- An opiate torpor, soporific, trancelike, and sublimely languid. A poet's morphine dream, a listless journey into a gentle dream and the precipice of intoxicated madness. Paperwhite and black narcissus, three lilies, black poppy and tuberose and a hint of hypnotic opium den haze. Lear- A regal, commanding scent, but poignant. White cedarwood, blue sage and bay leaf.

    Survival horror!

I could try and be of some help. My suggestions are: Elli's Song- The horrors of entropy, death, and decay: desiccated black mosses, vetiver, olibanum, patchouli, and ashes. Yorick- Grave dirt, bone, decay, angel’s trumpet, and moldering scraps of shroud: the essence of finality. Whispers of Monstrous Things- Yellowed fragments of vellum and parchment scrawled with unnamable horrors invoking ghastly abominations: decaying papers and moldering leather with sickly-sweet tonka, inky musk, black sandalwood, black fig, sugandh kokila, and pimento leaf. Black Forest- This is the captured scent of a cold, moonless night, lost deep within the darkest wood. Haunting and desolate, this scent evokes images of fairy tale tragedy and half-remembered nightmares. Thick, viscous pine with ambergris, black musk, juniper and cypress. Fallen- Cherubic white sandalwood and golden musk with a dark halo of amber, a breath of imperial florals, unbending woods, and the shadow cast by vetiver and violet. The Burying Ground- Despair and desolation in a potter’s field: black soil and memories of screams on the pyre. SkekUng The Garthim Master- Brute force and destruction: vetiver, smoke, steel, and dragon’s blood resin. Acluphobia- Oppressive, stifling, suffocating, blinding: black patchouli, tobacco absolute, opoponax, and inky black musk. Phantasm- This delicate, spectral perfume gives rise to an eerie distortion of of the senses. It bestows an ephemeral, ghostly, and truly haunting quality to your presence. Green tea, lemon verbena, jasmine and neroli. The Day Burned White- Plaster and spraypaint, mottled with buttermilk – sweet, chalky, and edging on sickly. White and golden amber beams of daylight pour through the belly of the scent, while oakmoss and Spanish moss add a touch of decay. I hope you find what you are looking for
