Oh. My. God. I am the Cardamom Kitten. This is seriously, seriously good. PKWench, its all that you said and more. Why did I not buy more than one 5 ml....??? And even that I had to get on evilbay cos I was an arse and forgot to get it while it was out from the Lab??? Beth, if you make more of this again, I will kidnap and bring you *random sexy actor of your choice* in a black velvet box, with a ribbon on his head. Must... have... more...

    Philosophy Gingerman and Eggnog....

I was tempted to try Gingerman 3 in 1 too, until I saw it says on the bottle "A ginger ale scented wash". Not Gingerbread. That would account for the lemon, then. I was really wanting a cinnamon-buns style creamy yummy goo, but with ginger, too.

    Pronouncing "BPAL" and scent names!

I have asked Ye Olde Chthulhu Meister back in Lancaster and he says: R'lyeh: Rull-yeh. The U is soft, almost as if its not there at all. r'l is probably the best way to write it even, cos thats what it sounds like. He also speaks Klingon, so he has the 'speaking through a mouthful of gravel' qualification. Nya-thingy: is pronounced (to rhyme the Y with why and eye) NY - a- LAR - thuh- tep. I used to remember how to say that one by using the name Niall Arthur Tep.

    Where is this scent?

Someone else said snake oil too! Im beginning to think it may be that, or SWoB. I still dont know!! But its yummy!!

    Scent for Halloween?

I'm just going to a rock nightclub, so I will either wear Wanda or Bordello... Or maybe Loviatar...
  7. Anita_Blake

    Where is this scent?

Its definitely not Anne Bonny either. On the dry down it becomes very vanilla-or-tonka bean. It's not icon, Grrlennyl - its definitely BPAL.

    Where is this scent?

After the 'mystery imp' thread, Who sent me this imp and what is it???? argh. It may even have come from MUA for all I know but there was no return addy on the mailer. It is very dark, almost the colour of Red Musk, but I have sniffed that and it aint it. It is not as red coloured as Dragons Milk. It's almost masculine on me, very musky, but also 'warm' and woodsy. I am pants at describing scents, by the way. It could hold amber, musk, vanilla (slightly) the weenciest drop of cinnamon possibly but maybe not. I'd bet there are none of these scents in it though: rose, berries, 'green' scents, ocean, citrus. it actually smells like a LUSH shop, you know, when you walk in the first time? I thought it may have been any of the following but it wasnt: Glasya (but I think its too soft - G is more smokey) Lilith - its not feminine enough Dragons Milk - DM is sweeter but it stains my skin yellow just the same Help?

    Vice

I wanted to adore this one. But whoa its weird. I like it, but Im not sure I'd do the 5 ml thing. Wet in the bottle, it's orange blossom dipped in chocolate. Wet on skin, it's a bit the same, only stronger. I put this on before I got the bus to work, and half hour later I had a killer headache. I cant smell any cherries until right at the dry down, which sadly for me was about 2 hours after I put it on. The chocolate is strong, but it seems to fight the orange blossom, and it smells sweet, but a little sickly to me. Or maybe that was just the headache making me feel sick. I dont know. I'll use up the imp, because I do like it. Im just not sure if it likes me. Anita ETA! Its 2 pm GMT and I was so wrong. The oil on my wrists hasnt gone, its rubbed off on my work jacket, which now smells divine. Im getting chocolate and cherries from the oil on my neck. Its not sickly any more, and I might be tempted by a 5 ml. How very odd. As I said, a weird one, but a good 'un
  10. I got to the point where I couldnt tell the difference between Dana O Shee and Alice unless I put one on each wrist and got the boy to smell them an hour later That was about the point I thought to look at the labels... *oopses* But they are very similar though - I'd say Alice is a bit lighter and less 'milky' - more honey notes. Wanda and Bordello remind me a bit of each other, but only in the bottle.

    Bliss

For anyone from the UK, I smell like a McVities dark or milk choccy digestive after wearing this. Although it goes very well with Lush's Aqua Mirabilis underwater massage bar, oddly enough. People in the office said I smelled like Millie's Chocolate Cookies. which explains the boy's behaviour when I got home hehe mmmmchocolatemmmm

    Perversion

Oh this is divine! It can't topple Wanda for me but it's pretty well up there! Wine and vanilla (tonka bean I guess) were very strong for me - there was a faint splash of wet tobacco being dropped into the wine glass at some point but not so much as for me to go "urgh, tobacco!" it was more like tobacco flowers - a sweet kind, or maybe like that black cherry herbal blend tobacco stuff! but the wine stayed on me *yay* and so did the tonnka bean, becoming stronger as it dried off - the wine faded but the vanillary-dark scent didn't! Definitely one for a 5 ml - top one Beth!

I wanted to love this, as I love the idea of the descripition. I love all the smells that are supposed to be in it. Unfortunately... In the bottle, first sniff: Air freshener. The spray stuff from hotel bathrooms. Wet, first application: Strong air freshener. But at least it was berry-ish-scented. Dry : Johnsons Baby Powder. Loads of it! Only two hours later: practically gone. But can still smell Baby Powder. *sob* and I so wanted it to be lovely...
  14. weirdly enough I've got on Old Madrid today and it's making my Lush American Cream scented hair smell even stronger. Like a bowl of blackberries and strawberries squashed into vanilla ice cream, with rich cream poured over it - with the very odd addition of crushed-up Parma Violet sweeties on the top. that sounds much stranger than it smells. but it's heavenly I promise!

How to make a paypal order.

Being a complete newbie and slight killer of computers could anyone please tell me how to set up Paypal? whenever Ive tried it from an ebay link, it shuts down on me I think Paypal hates me and have got by til now on bidpay, but it seems i need paypal to buy from the swaps thread as I have only one imp to swap (and I havent decided if I like it or not, yet!) Many thanks, Anita
