  1.

I'd love one too, I've been decluttering and have plenty of nice things I could send.

I don't think my health will allow me to run it, though, pity.

When is the Spring Cleaning swap usually? I'm really looking forward to that one!

I...could do it with some help? Might have to be a bit later than usual.

  2. Either or, really. I'd probably leave it open for people to either buy new items to send to their swap partner and/or send them unloved items in their craft stashes. Leave lots of wiggle room for people, just so long as the unloved craft supplies are in good condition.

    Sounds like fun!

  3. Would anyone be interested in a craft supplies swap? Not right now. I'd want to run it after the holidays, definitely after my 12 Days of Christmas concludes. But, a conversation I was having made me think it would be awesome to receive craft supplies in a swap. Things like papers, yarn, glitter mixes or straight glitter, glues, gemstones, Swarovski crystals (or knock-offs if it's someone's bag), paint, brushes, etc. Whatever someone might put in their questionnaire as something they'd desire to receive. I just thought this might be something fun and a bit different? Yay? Nay? XD

Like as in stuff you already have, or new things? I could be interested in this!

  4. For the winter swap season, I know lots of people can't participate because of finances - it's expensive to buy presents and do a swap! - so is there any interest in a low budget/no budget swap where all you'd have to pay for is shipping (and however much else you'd want to buy)?

I have an idea for a winter warmth swap. You could buy or make something cozy like socks or a hat or a scarf, include a burned dvd or second hand book, and make or buy a warm beverage thing (tea/cocoa/cider/etc), and make or buy a small savory snack (popcorn package/crackers/etc).

It would be a very small swap just to get people who want to swap a chance to spoil someone with all the fixins for a little cozy night in! I was thinking maybe mailing out beginning of December so it doesn't conflict with the holidays or other holiday themed swaps.

    Thoughts?

I would totally partake. I love swapping, but my finatial situation is going to/is drastically changing soon. Reminds me of the Book/soap/sock swap a little! I loved that swap!

  5. I would love to see a book soap sock swap for Autumn or Winter, I missed out the first time. Maybe we could add tea or coffee to it as well?

I would get behind this as a low-budget alternative to 13 nights and switch witch. Money is tight right now but I miss my Halloween swaps.

  6. Travelling book and comic boxes would be AWESOME.

I would love a comic book / graphic novel swap!!!!

Just lettling both of you awesome people and anyone else who might be into it know that you still have a week to sign up for the comic swap! It looks like we have people at a bunch of different expirence levels signing up so I hope no one feels shy about joining! It's going to be super awesome.

  7. Keltie, I would definitely do a comic related swap! I think I sent you some comics in one of our swaps, too :D. A travelling box may get expensive if internationals are included, and I could see people hesitant to join to pay those fees.... I would totally be in for a regular exchange swap!

You sure did, And I loved them! ;) I'm almost thinking a regular exchange might be best. I tend to read a lot of stuff with super adult content, and I know that's not everyone's cup of tea. If I were to start the box, alot of people wouldn't find anything they liked. This way people can be matched up with like-minded others

Hmm...maybe I'll start on a ?air this week...If anyone wants to co-organize, let me know! (doublehelix? ;) )

edit- It would also be a cheap swap as commics can fit into flat envelopes, and even if you have to buy them first issues are usually cheap!

  8. I have a huge bag of books I need to pass on to better homes. If this is open to internationals, I'm in!

Would there be any interest in a comic swap of sorts? I'm not sure what the best format would be, but I have a ton of first issues I've already bought trades for that need new homes! I don't know if it would be best to match people up or to do a circle swap...Imput would be great for those who would be into it!

  9. I have scoured this forum for comparisons to the departed Tramp. I have spent COPIOUS amounts of money and tried to even have the scent recreated on Etsy - all in vain. So far I have narrowed down these as being potential Tramp dupes based on previous posts on this forum:

    Dance Of Death

    Scarecrow

    Belladonna

    Greed

I realize once they are on my body, they will transform... so.... just IN THE BOTTLE - what do you guys think smells most like the beloved, the revered, the sacred scent of Tramp. I love it so much I can't even function.

I have bought patchouli and oak moss combo oil - nope

I have bought weird combinations of patchouli and oakmoss with other things... nope....nada

I could just buy all 4 samples of the above but I'd like to know opinions first. I really really would appreciate input here.

    Thank you!

IMO, it would be safe to loose Dance of Death. Have you tried Zombi or any of the other dirt oils?

  10. When wet, this has a fuzzy, leafy wool smell. Kinda cozy, but also chilly. As it dries, it starts to sweeten and warm up! The wool turns softer, more into cashmere. The berries and musk start to show up, as well. This comes off as the warmest, cosiest skin scent, with just the slightest chilly touch in the back! Love love love this!
