Oh, wow, this stuff is potent! Caught be by surprise how strong it is.

Bayou is a very interesting aquatic. It's not a fresh clean aquatic nor is it a deep dark one. This one is definately murkier like a swamp.
It reminds me summertime in Fla, canoeing under a canpoy of trees, hot and humid, somewhat dank, with a touch of swamp flowers and moss and wet vegetation.
I think I really like this, though it does make me feel a bit homesick. Doubt I would buy a bottle, but I'm glad I got the imp.

ETA: Sadly, it ended up smelling like old, stale, really rank cheap drugstore perfume. Off to swap pile!

Wet, a sweet aquatic with a hint of florals Not sharp like Tempest, this reminds me more of growing up in Fla. when we would get sun showers and the sweetness of the flowers would emerge. The air is fresh and moist and everything is damp and clean and all you want is to close your eyes and feel the light rain on your face.
I was actually expected something a bit darker or sharper, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I can't wait to try it on myself as I think it would be better suited on me and the Tempest I tried is more for dh.

At first it's rather sharp, but as it dries it starts to soften, but the sharpness lingers just enough to add something interesting to the scent. Reminds me of when I lived near the beach and there was approaching storm in the distance and the air was charged and salty and a bit sweet.

It's very nice, though I think it might actually smell better on hubby. I'll have to try it on him and then decide about a bottle. I'm also worried that it will end up turning to soap on me, we'll see.....

At first it is such a sharp ozoney aquatic that I had to hold my wrists down to keep from getting a headache.
As it dries though, the sharpness fades quite a bit (though it's still there a bit more on my left wrist) and starts to sweeten and a hint of saltiness comes out. It reminds me of something I can't quite place, but it's comforting.
I think it would also smell wonderful on dh.

OK, I've been having bad luck with just about anything that isn't aquatic or tropical. Most spicey muck scent are going straight to funky incense.

But not this! This is definately a sensual scent, all spice and musk. It does take on a slightly powdery scent on me, but not at all in a bad way. I love it!

Starts out warm lilies and as it dries the honey comes out and the lilies fade a bit. It does go through a little of the typical perfumey stage, but overall it's pretty nice. It just doesn't last long on me.

I have found that most florals do not love me. For example, I had expected to love roses and hate lillies but I've found it's just the opposite.

This is just a beautiful scent. I would say that it strikes me more of an elegant scent, but thankfully, not an old lady one.
At first it seems to be a fresher lily, but as it dries it becomes a creamier, more complex lily scent.

I really like it. I'm going to try it a few more times, but it might end up on my bottle list.

Hubby tried this (I knew right awayit would be better for him, lol).

At first it smell like the rain incense we used to have. yum! As it dried it became darker and smokier. I love the cedarwood I can smell and the patchouli is just right. The cinnamon is very faint, but it's a truer cinnamon as opposed to the sweet candy cinnamon.

It's very nice on him, I have a feeling I'll be sniffing him for the rest of the night.

Wet: Have no idea. LOL. Very strong. As it dries it gets that stale perfume smell I hate.
After a few minutes i can pick up a very slight hint of the bay rum with magnolia and dirt.

I think that magnolia doesn't like me. I'm getting that weird stale, cheap perfume smell again.
    Oh well, off to swaps.

ETA: Hubby tried it and it smells awesome one him. He amps the bay rum and moss and it really smells wonderful. Keeping the imp for him.

YES! As soon as I smelled it, that's exactly what I thought of. I used to wear the green tea perfume all the time and loved it.

As it dries it becomes less sharp, but doesn't morph all that much. Not really getting any of the musk, mostly green tea with a hint of aloe and lemon. Will be great during the summer!

Wet: Wow, COCOA with a hint of incense. Not sure about this one.
Drying: the leather is coming out with a hint of the flowers. Not much of the patchouli. This is starting to remind me of a smoking room: deep, rich, slightly sweet but very good pipe tobacco and leather.

Not sure if I would wear this, I'll try it again, but I'm defaintely going to have hubby try this one!

Wow, something with rose in it that doesn't immediately go old lady on me.

At first it's mostly warm gardenias but as it dries, I catch a hint of the tea and perhaps amber? I'm not getting much of the patchouli or rose (thank god).

This is a very warm seductive floral. I think I really like it and I will definately be keeping my imps of it. Not sure on a bottle yet.

At first I thought that this was going to end up being too masculine for me and that once again another oil was going to huby.

But then I was pleasantly surprised! The vanilla and amber came out and sweetened it. I wish it stayed spicier longer, but it could be that I'm trying it on the top of my arm instead of my wrists. Now I'm going to go wash off the scent I tried before and I'm going to reapply it on my wrists.
Either way though, it's quite nice and I'm glad I picked up a bottle.

(yes, that was the most useless review ever LOL)

    This is an interesting one.
At first it's all woods, but as it dries the fig comes out and sweetens it. Not getting any of the cocoa.

I do like it, though I doubt I'll get a bottle. I am glad I got to try the imp.

At first, all honey. Then the orange starts to come out and I think, wow I really like this. Only the slightest hint of rose, luckily.

But the all of a sudden, BAM! Baby powder.

    Off to swaps.

mmmm....lemon verbena with just a hint of jasmine and neroli.
As it dried the green tea come out, but not overpowering. A very nice summer scent. I will definately be keeping the imp, but probably not a bottle.

ETA: As it dried down further, it reminds me of maybe bathroom cleaning products? Or something, not quite sure. But I don't like it.
  17. femmefatale
At first it's a very generic perfume smell, with something...else that I can't quite put my finger on.

As it dries it becomes a slightly spicey amber musk with just a hint of citrus tea and something floral.

I think I really like this one and I'm glad I got a bottle. It semlls a bit more sophisticated on me than the other oils I tend to wear, but it's nice having something different. I have a feeling I will use this more during cool weather than in the summer.

OMG, I have no words. This is the perfect spicy blend for me. I have always looooved clove and cinnamon. On me this has an almost clove cig. scent, but without so much of the tobacco. It has a touch of sweetness w/out being foody. I am absolutely in love!

It does tend to stay fairly close to skin, so I think I'll wear it on my skin and in my locket. It's also great to layer with when you have a scent that needs some extra spice.
I have a feeling this will be my regular autumn scent.

At first this is a very sweet, soft apple. As it dries, something slightly spicy and just a teeny bit sharp (dragons blood?) comes out. As it dries further it is very pretty, though a bit top close to a hair product I used to use (that smelled wonderful btw)., then my skin just eats it up.
Very pleasant, if not really me.

Ok, so I knew this wouldn't be for me so I had hubby try it.

It smells like leather, cinnamon, clove. rotted hay, and butt. Seriously. It smells like someone is tryint to cover up a funk with something really nice. Hubby said it reminds him of the horses at Busch Gardens.
    It was almost good.

Oh wow. wow wow wow wow wow wow wow

I doubt I would've tried this, but luckily I got a frimp from a super sweet someone. At first it is warm with a light insense feel to it, but then it starts to sweeten and the spice comes up. It's smokey and spicy and sweet and sexy all in one. I love that it has a touch of sweetness without being foody. And thankfully, my wonky skin chemstry keeps this beautiful and it doesn't go all wrong on me. I can't wait to try it in my locket and I will most defnitely be getting multiple bottles of this one!

I've had this for a long time now. (I believe I got it when it was first released) I never really tried it (I don't think) because not long after I got it I got pregnant and omg, the morning sickness kicked in.
So I kept going back recently, sniffing the bottle and thinking, ewww...this is going to be way too sweet, why did I keep it?

I am so glad I did!

Wet: A fizzy, sweet lime drink. Oh wow, this is yummy though I'm not sure I want to smell like this for long.

Drying down: mmmm.....it calms down. The lime goes into the background and out comes this sweet spicy slightly boozey cookie scent. I'm not a foodie person but this smells awesome.

Dried: It's a spiced sugar with just the barest hint of tobacco.

I love this and I'm sooooo happy I never got rid of the bottle. I have a feeling this will get worn a lot once the cooler weather rolls in.

ETA: As it dries down further a bit more of the tobacco comes out, but in a good way. It really balances out the sugar to keep it from becoming to sweet.
