    shipping confirmation emails

Just reposting this for the people who had ccnow questions ah, so when you say it takes a month to be filled and shipped, that means it's an additional month on top of the two weeks it took for ccnow to process the order over the lab? i'm either thinking it just took FOREVER for CCNow to update the status of the order. that's probably it, because they messed up the order at first (i don't particularly like them right now), and i caved and e-mailed the lab and asked if it could be corrected. they seemed to have knowledge of my order and they fixed everything (they're so generous and sweet#$!), so i'm not sure if my order actually got there before CCNow said it did, or if the lab just made a note to fix my specific order once it got processed to them. ahh, i just keep having more and more and more questions..

    shipping confirmation emails

it took about two weeks for CCNow to say that the first order had been shipped, so i just assumed that it would be another two weeks before i got the order since they take about a month to process. my second order said it was pretty much shipped immediately, so i expect that one in a month. i'm just wondering if anyone thinks the first order's process of being shipped to my house will be prolonged. does the order take a month to go over ONCE ccnow says it's been shipped, or does the 30 day countdown begin once you've received your confirmation e-mail? just wondering when i should expect my first order. it'd be weird if i got my second order first.

so, when you check your order status with CCNow, and this is what it says: Order History: 15 Jul 2004 - Received 30 Jul 2004 - Order Shipped it basically means that my order was finally processed by CCNow and sent to the lab? what will show up when the lab ships it out to my house? does anyone know? PS-- i placed another order today! wee!

Autumn Scents - recommend the ones you love

well, i haven't tried any of the scents yet, but i'm looking out for any that seem to be autumnesque. maybe the best way to choose some would be to write down what images you associate with autumn. what kind of scenarios, smells, etc., and go through everything's description looking for something that might match. i think choosing a scent like that might be very personal. when i think of autumn, i think of walking through the woods. i think of anything dark red, dark brown, anything that smells like incense or fire. i think of autumn as a time when magic takes place, since autumn is the time where all of the plants are beginning to die, and the leaves are rotting, i would suggest looking for anything that mentions decay in the description. of course, you may think of totally different things, but i hope this helps. BLOODLUST A fiery Martial blend that embodies primal rage, lust for conquest, and all-encompassing desire. Dragon's blood essence, heavy red musk, Indonesian patchouli and swarthy vetiver with a drop of cinnamon. it almost sounds more winterish, but it reminds me a lot of autumn, just because i'm getting that earthy, dark red color from it. NEPHILIM Dark children conceived from the union of Fallen Angels and the Daughters of Men. According to lore, the angel Shemhazai led a group of his angels to earth to instruct mankind in the ways of piety and righteousness. After a time, the angels became prey to earthly desires and began to lust after the daughters of man, and thus they fell. They instructed their mortal mates in the arts of conjuration, summoning, necromancy and other magickal arts. The fruits of their union are the Nephilim: possessed of superhuman strength, cunning, and infinite capacity, and hunger for, sin. Venerated as heroes by some, vilified by most, the Nephilim eventually annihilated one another in a cataclysmic civil war instigated by the angel Gabriel as punishment for their transgressions. Holy frankincense and hyssop in union with earthy fig, defiled by black patchouli and vetiver, with a chaotic infusion of lavender, cardamom, tamarind, rosemary, oakmoss and cypress. i think the combination of frankincense, patchouli, oakmoss, and cypress makes this seem like a scent suitable for autumn. the herbs that were thrown in might help. SZEPASSZONY The Fair Lady, Winter Witch, White Maiden of the Storm. Szepasszony is a Hungarian demoness that appears as a stunningly beautiful woman with long, silver-white hair and a blinding white dress. She revels in storms, particularly when hail rains down on her. Water dripping down eaves into a puddle is an invitation for her to cause mischief: she uses the puddle as a magickal tool for casting her wicked spells. It is considered foolhardy to step into a circle of short grass ringed by taller grasses, as those mark the circles where the Fair Lady dances. A chilly, tempestuous whirlwind of clear, airy notes, slashing rain, and a thin undercurrent of white flowers. it doesn't make me think of autumn, but you DID mention rain. maybe you could get an imp and mix it with something warmer to create the effect you want. ANNE BONNY Named in honor of the most notorious female pirate to ever set sail. Wicked, cruel, beautiful, intelligent, resourceful and dangerous: a true role model. A blend of Indonesian red patchouli, red sandalwood, and frankincense. A million thanks to Juliana Williamson-Page for inspiration! there's the patchouli and frankincense again. BLACK FOREST This is the captured scent of a cold, moonless night, lost deep within the darkest wood. Haunting and desolate, this scent evokes images of fairy tale tragedy and half-remembered nightmares. Thick, viscous pine with ambergris, black musk, juniper and cypress. oooh! INCANTATION A profound and entrancing potion. Deep, wispy, and unfathomably dark: vetiver, dark woods, crumbling and burnt black sandalwood and a drop of lemon rind. LA BELLA DONNA DELLA MIA MENTE Soft, lush myrtle and dry, sweet melilot with wild rose, pomegranate juice and peach blossom against a background of deep aquatic notes and a twirl of melancholy autumn breezes. this one mentions water as well as autumn, so maybe you could look into it. ULALUME The skies they were ashen and sober; The leaves they were crisped and sere - The leaves they were withering and sere; It was night in the lonesome October Of my most immemorial year: It was hard by the dim lake of Auber, In the misty mid region of Weir - It was down by the dank tarn of Auber, In the ghoul-haunted woodland of Weir. Starry white lilies lend an eerie brightness to the deep black wooded scents of cypress and oak, layered with a touch of crushed dried leaves and the faintest aquatic note. that one seems almost perfect just because of the crushed leaves and the water. ZOMBI Dried roses, rose leaf, Spanish moss, oakmoss and deep brown earth.

    Recs for Longest Lasting Oils

Eeek! I never heard this before. I moisturize head to toe after showering every day (gotta keep my Victorian pallor smooth) and I just bought some Johnson's "softlotion" which, I think, is lotion mixed with baby oil...it feels great. What exactly is it doing to me? i don't think it can make your skin age faster if you stay inside most of the day, but it basically soaks up the sun. it's good if you want to go out and get dark and tan, but you know what tanning does to your skin. it basically fuels the process of getting burned by the sun. ha. if there's anything else it does, i'm unaware of it, but i'd be interested to know.
