  1. Violet and rose. It sounds good. Try #2 for today on my imps. Hopefully there isn't any civet hiding in this one.

In the Bottle: Violets and roses, a clean, crisp scent. Lovely.

On Me: These two go so well together! The violet scent goes a little soapy on me, but I actually like that. The rose helps to balance it all out and sweeten it up. This isn't too overpowering at all, and actually something that I would wear everyday.

Of course, and please do forgive me here, I would most like to wear this around my Dad. He has a habit of telling me that when I wear purfume I smell like a "French Whore". I guess its a Southern thing. I would love for him to smell this and like it (because I know that he would), so I can tell him that I'm wearing something that Marie Antoinette wore. In essence, this is what a "French Whore" would smell like!

    :P

  2. Earth sorceress and mother of Mordred, she is, in essence, the harbinger of King Arthur's doom and the downfall of Camelot. She is a sister, or sister-self, to Morgan Le Fay. A bouquet of five night-blooming flowers deepened by dusky violet, purple fruits and the barest breath of medieval incenses.

In the Bottle: Violet, night blooming jasmine...such a great combination!

On Me: Hmmm....as much as I liked it in the bottle, I think its going to turn to ass on me for some reason.

No...its starting to sweeten up a bit. Hopefully it won't turn to ass, because the initial scent was very reminicent of civet scents on me. In fact, there is a light scent of it in the background still, past a delicious smell of flowers. But as much as that delicious smell of flowers is there, that civet/ass scent is sickening.

However, then there comes a slight grape scent to it, ad the whole scent mellows out. But still, there, lurking in the corners of my wrist, is that awful ass smell.

The overtone is lovely, but the ass has got to go. I'll swap this to someone that civit likes better than me.

  3. In the Bottle: Red wine, thick and cloying. Very seductive.

On Me: Off of the wrist, I smell the red wine, but on the wrist its very peppery with a hint of rose. Already Lilith is very deceptive, enticing you into her web with the promise of sweetness, while underneath she's spicy as can be. Its a brilliant plan, wholly sexy and seductive.

I'm totally into this one. I must have a big bottle of this!

  4. Sweetpea is one of my favorite flowers! I can't wait to try this one!!

In the Bottle: Sweetpea and grape and peaches and pears, this is a fruity-floral fantasy!!

On Me: The ultimate in flights of fancy, this is innocent, light and magical, fruity yet floral. This is something that I think my daughter would love to wear while wearing her yellow sparkly wings that fairywingmaker made for her!

Totally gogeous! A big bottle is needed!

  5. In the Bottle: Black orchid, apple blossom, and something sweet and seductive. I'm really liking this so far.

On Me: Ooooh, sweet and tangy, the black orchid and apple blossom go great together! The apple blossom is very sweet, adding to the sexual fragrance of black orchid, like innocence turned raunchy! This is really good, a nice blend to wear in the bedroom. Bathing in this one!!

  6. In the Bottle: Leather, but darker. This is evil leather! *shiver* Definately a "lick my boot" leather.

On Me: *shiver* Leather, warm and *shiver* oooh so good. Have I told you guys that I really like leather? I mean really, really, really like leather?

Slinking off now....must wait till hubby gets home....

  7. Vanilla and peaches! Oh boy!

In the bottle: Peaches and a light floral. It smells lovely!

On Me: Sparkling peaches, heliotrope, and a light smattering of vanilla. This is wonderful, a very youthful and innocent blend that I think would smell great on my daughter as well. The vanilla makes it a little sophisticated and that makes it very wearable.

That fades quickly, and I'm left with an amber and vanilla smell which is just as beautiful in its own way. I'm very pleased with this one, very pleased!

  8. In the Bottle: Light berries in the snow. This smells really good.

On Me: Grapefruit, acquatic florals, and cold berries make an excellent oil! This is gorgeous, very light and fruity, a frolic in the snow, Totally gorgeous!!! I love the Moon scents. Everytime I think I've found my favorite, then I find another one that I like even more.

  9. In the Bottle: Oh! So masculine! This is actually reminding me a lot of Obsession for Men. They've stopped making it, and my hubby is really upset. He smells divine in it, but we had to trade it out for Spark, which is also very good on him too. Hmm...this might be the thing for me to show him that would get him into BPAL hardcore.

On Me: Dead Ringer. I am so Squeeee'ing over this right now!! This is totally gorgeous and just makes me think of my hubby. He is so going to love this. I better order him a big bottle right away!

    Le purrr!

  10. Lemongrass. Uhoh. Pleeeeease don't let it just smell like pledge! It sounds so good otherwise!!

In the Bottle: Sage, a small hint of lemon, and a bit of lavender. Yum! I love the complexity of this scent already. I just hope that it stays this way on my skin.

On Me: *sighs* Lemon pledge. Damnit! I was totally in love with the scent before I stuck it on my wrist.

Oh well, to the swap pile it goes.

  11. In the Bottle: A warm sandalwood.

On Me: Behind that warm sandalwood, every now and then there is a whiff of a resiny scent that really sweetens this base up. Right now its very warm, closing in fact, a deep sultry scent that, whereas it isn't too powerful, still tends to cling to your body and weighs it down or closes it in.

The wood is opressingly close, like trees so close that they begin to have branches that permenantly fuse together or fur so thick that you lose your hand when you run your fingers through it. Its dense, so dense that you lose yourself in it. There is a tiny bit of a citrus scent in here as well.

All in all a gorgeous scent that I will have to get a bigger bottle for when I run out of the imp.

  12. In the Bottle: Soft florals and aquatic notes.

On Me: A sharp note has been added to the aquatic florals, giving this oil an incense feel to it. I can see why this scent is named after the god of mourners. There is real sadness here, a melancholy scent that makes one think of black veils and tears, flowers thrown on a grave, and the sharp taste in your mouth from crying too long. Its very, very faint, but that adds to the charm.

A keeper, and maybe even a big bottle later.

  13. In the Bottle: Lily, rose, and frankensense. Actually a very nice combination.

On Me: Very nice and rosy, without being just rose. The floral combo is very nice together, soft and feminine, with just a hint of the frankensense giving it some bite. Its very lovely, the smell of fresh flowers in church.

But it fades awfully fast. I can't smell it on my wrist anymore, but its still lingering in the air. I don't mind reapplying though, particularly with this fragrance. Another oil I will get a bigger bottle of once the imp is gone.

  14. In the Bottle: A sweet lily scent. So far I really like it.

On Me: *faint* A gorgeous scent! The sweet smell of lilies placed on a loved one's grave, the intoxicating smell of gladiolis interminged. This is a funeral arrangement, I know the smell of this very easily as I've made them before. Hmm...not excatly a happy thought, but you get the picture.

This really is a dead ringer...err...no pun intended. I keep thinking about work though, so I can't give it the impression that it deserves. I'll get a bottle of this when the imp is used up.

  15. I got this one in a swap with da minx, and I am totally excited about it. It seems that I have grown rather fond of the rose that I once despised so much. Silly me.

In the bottle: Rose. Yeah, definately rose.

On Me: Very rose, and I'm not sure about anything else but. No spices, not really anything else but rose. But its not like Rose Red, which is the whole rose and nothing but the rose...this one is just the blossom, which has to be huge and pink. Not Red, Pink. Its a sweet rose with only a hint of bite at its center.

Mind you, I'm not really complaining. The ability to have different colored rose scents is too cool. Not to mention, now in the air I am starting to get the scent of something else. Not too spicy, but a little different, maybe some allspice or something similar. Whatever it is, its gorgeous.

This is another one of those rose scents that just screams for me to roll in. I like!

  16. Nyx

I got this in a swap with da Minx, just got here today in fact! Jasmine and rose...oooh, sounds good!

In the Bottle: Lots of jasmine. Smells great so far!

On Me: Wow...the jasmine and rose blend smell so mysterious and gorgeous togather! Its an undeniable sweetness but dark and foreboding, like a warning that you just don't understand. Its inviting and commanding, gesturing you to come forward even though you know that on the other side is something dark and powerful, ready to take control.

Its somewhat smoky and reclusive yet every now and then its powerful and demanding your attention. A very complex oil that for some odd reason has me thinking of a woman spy in a long, slinky black dress with a cigarette in her fingers, watching her mark through the smoke, knowing that underneath the table, she has a gun aimed at his...*ahem* well, you get the picture.

I love this, very slinky and mysterious. Thanks minxlet!

  17. My 7 year old son would bathe in Jack if I let him. A lighter male scent is Whitechapel, Dracul is great, but rather heavy, more in line for your husband. Dragon's Bone is very good, Tombstone may be an idea as well. Iago is another masculine scent that seems to work very well on young men.

I hope he likes what you pick out:) I'm sure he will. I know how it is with a young boy that suddenly is starting to get into cologne and oils.

  18. In the Bottle: Sweet wine with an after effect of sensual leather. Oh my god. Please let this stay true on me!!!

    On Me: Oh My! *sniff*

    Oh My! *sniff sniff*

    OH MY! *sniff, purr, lick*

Sex in a bottle? Oh yes, oh yes! Sexy, sexy, sexy. This is sexual power, sexual heat, sexual friction. This is a boot being licked, a man on his knees begging for release, this is leather cuffs and leather corsets and riding crops! This is stilleto boots and ride-me-hard-red lips. This is men bent so that you can sit on them and shivering in delight from being dominated...

    Err...

Ummm...not that I would really know anything about that.

    Honestly....

    Hmmmm....

*puts imp away for....private use. Not for use outside of.....play areas....*

    :P

  19. In the Bottle: A very odd combination that is very hard to place. Hmmm...

On Me: A very powdery anise smell, with black poppy in the background. Once again, I love the smell of licorice, I just can't stand the candy. This is a very odd scent, its kinda on the verge of black licorice and old horehound candy, but dustier, maybe like sassafras or a sassparilla? Its very old timey, very nostalgic. Medicinal, yet gentle. Very interesting. I get the sensation of old photographs that are brown and faded. An old Western bar picture hanging in a soda fountain.

But its fading so fast, and to a half hearted shoe leather scent. I swear, its a new shoe scent now, but fading extremely fast. I just don't think that the semi-lingering scent of shoes is really something that I want. Contrary to most girly sterotyping, I HATE shoe shopping.

No, I think its time to swap this one.

  20. This was just one of those imps that I HAD TO GET!

In the Bottle: Orange, mint, and cloves. The combination is lovely!!

On Me: This really is gorgeous! I don't really get the tabacco scent, but the mint, orange, cloves, and musk blend together for a lovely masculine scent that I am just in love with. For some reason, this reminds me of my husband, and I told him so over the phone. I think he might want to try this one, actually. I hope he does. I'll be getting a big bottle of it regardless.

  21. Cinnamon, velviter, and dragon's blood...*shiver* I'm in love with it already!

In The Bottle: Very cinnamon smelling. Whenever there is cinnamon in something, I always tend to smell it above anything else.

On Me: The dragon's blood is really shining through, with a hint of cinnamon in the background. Its sassy and sweet, tart and tangy, lickable even.

I keep worrying that its going to turn foul on me, it has that beginning smell at first, the smell that always seems to change to soiled diapers, but it hasn't at all. Instead its mellowed out to a cinnamon scent that is just a tiny bit dusty in the background. In fact, its fading pretty fast, leaving only the scent of cinnamon. I LOVE cinnamon.

I like it enough to use the imp. Time will tell if I get a bigger bottle or not.

  22. In the Bottle: A rather sweet, incensy smell that I can't quite place. Hmm...

On Me: There is a sweet floral and a tangy olive scent behind it. Oh wow, this is very, very nice. There is almost a fruity blend, but I couldn't tell you what it is. Its almost like grapes, but sweeter, like wine without the booze. This is gorgeous! I just can't stop smelling my wrist! ARGH, WHAT IS IT???? Its like a thick, sweet juice, like the sun filtered through trees and squeezed into a bottle.

I don't know what it is, all I know is that it is simply breath taking! I think this one has become my new favorite scent! A gallon of this one, after I completely bathe myself in this one, that is!

  23. A phenomenally powerful attractant. Sexual and commanding in the extreme.

In the Bottle: Come to Me is a rather soapy light floral. Hmmm...waxflower maybe?

On Me: Most definately waxflower, I love that smell. You just can't deny that scent! When I used to work for a florist there are two "filler" flowers that you work with more often than not, baby's breath and waxflower. The stem of the waxflower is stronger, so you usually use that for smaller baskets or ceramics because you can wedge it into the florist's foam of tighter places, but you don't just use it there. The main reason for using it is when you have a large peice requiring a lot of filler. Large amounts of baby's breath smells like a dirty diaper, so you need to use something that smells pleasant.

A waxflower is a small grouping of light purple flowers that appear waxy, especially the stem. If the stem is cut, it will soap up, giving off this scent. Its a very light, delicate scent that I used much more often than any other filler, if I could get away with it. Its just easier to work with.

As for the oil, yeah, I'm gonna have to bathe in it. A big bottle for me when I'm done with the imp.

  24. Hmmm...after watching a documentary last night about women that used oleander to poison their husbands, this is exactly what I was looking for *dripping with sarcasm*. Teehee.

In the Bottle: Sweet and spicy, creamy and seductive. *shiver*

On Me: A light floral, magnolias, with a spicy background, maybe a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon.

This is extremely seductive. This is a librarian by day and a stripper by night. This is the perfect scent for the innocent maiden becoming the sexy temptress once the moon comes up. This is Anne Rice's Beauty. This is a gallon bottle as soon as I'm done bathing in the imp.
