I recieved Kitsune Tsuke in a swap:) In the Bottle: Mmmm....dark plum and just a purple scent. Sweet and tangy. On Me: A lot more of an aquatic floral with a citrus undertone. Mmmm....very heavenly and sophisticated and I can't keep my nose off of my wrist. I notice that its peek-a-booing out with the intensity as well, but hasn't fully gone yet at all. Very nice! Slathering now!

I got Foruma 54 in a yummy swap from Tygher! In the Bottle: Pixie sticks and wax lips. LOL! On Me: The clove comes out so enticingly and sexy, still with a bubble gum cherry scent to it to. Its the bad girl at the party dressed in pigtails and a CSG with a leather halter underneath and a strap on:) This to me is the height of innocent domination! I think I'm in love!!!

Wildfire was another yummy addition to the swap that Tygher gave me! In the Bottle: Dragon's blood and a faint floral scent that I'm having trouble placing. Is it a rose? White is the only way that I can describe the floral, with the dragon's blood sweetening it tremendously. On Me: Wow. At first this reminded me a lot of Chantily Lace, a purfume that my grandmother used to wear a lot. I can still smell that purfume when my nose is away from my wrist, but at my wrist, the scent is alot cleaner. There's a green root smell that I can only equate with stems and leaves, as well as the faint hint of dragon's blood mixed among the florals. The only problem that I have with this purfume is that it has already begun to fade, but I don't mind reapplying. I'm gonna slather now, cause I really like this one!

I recieved Mabon from a swap with the lovely Tygher who's birthday was not too long ago. And I must apologise for standing her up for dinner, which was so bad of me because 1. I really wanted to meet everyone. 2. I really love sushi! and 3. I'm a social creature at heart. I will try to post the reason why I was late in a few moments. In the Bottle: Mmmm....blackberry wine that for some reason makes me think of the local craft store, which reminds me that I'm missing a few DMC threads. Hmmm....must take a trip. On Me: Wow...this smells like blackberry candles and autumn, but not so much in a foody way. This reminds me of craft stores and fairs, and places where they still hand dip their candles. This reminds me of Tennessee where we would go to this farm that did everything the same as in the Colonial days and we would weave and dip candles. I loved the smells. If there was ever a smell that made me think of hard work with true rewards at the end, this is it. Ok...slathering now!

This was one of the swaps from LadyofDarkstar. In the Bottle: Lear reminds me a lot of Tombstone with the lovely cedar note. This reminds me so much of things when I was growing up, from my Mom's Hope Chest to my hamster's cage lining. The thing that it hits home the most with is the closet in my husband's house that he was selling when we first started going out. I remember that my daughter (who was only about 6-9 months at the time) couldn't stand any place in his house but that closet. She would only sleep there. On Me: Very masculine, and very cedary. In fact, I smell nothing else but. I really like this scent though, very mysterious and manly. I have to wonder how it would smell on the hubby. I love this, and will be getting a bigger bottle of it soon. Until then...slatering time!!!

WoW! There are a lot of people posting about this one. That's always a good sign! In the Bottle: Spellbound is very light and rosey but with a musty edge to it. Like a sexy rose smell. This is NOT your grandma's rose perfume. On Me: The rose scents are blended so perfect together. You can tell that there are several different ones there, but it just blends into one merged scent. And the amber is in the background like a foundation, holding up the roses scent...but all of a sudden the red musk came in and WOW! Oh, this suddenly got more sexual than Blood Lotus. Oh, this is so a big bottle in the future.

Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo was a generous freebie from the BPAL Gods in my last order. In the Bottle: Wow...a real fruity bubble gum or maybe candied fruits. Very sweet and sugary. On Me: VERY sugary. Now its more like a pixie stick dumped on bubble gum. But...wait...there is a sweet floral behind this too. Honeysuckle maybe? Wait...its fading too fast! Maybe I'm already way too happy for this oil? The bubblegum scent is nearly totally gone, and instead its a lily/honeysuckle scent. This is WONDERFUL! Definately a big bottle in the future, and now my tummy is growling...

In the Bottle: Undertow is fresh mint and lotus, a delicious smell. On Me: It was really sharp at first and reminded me more of a champagne note than mint. But it dried down to a gorgeous smell that was an eye-opener and just divine! This will definately be a bigger bottle.

This was a freebie in my last order and wasn't on my wish list at all. In the Bottle: I smell cedar, some amber, a musk perhaps. This is a little peppery than I thought from the description, a musty scent of sunlight cutting through the dusty air. On Me: This reminds me of another oil that I had a long time ago for ritual. White sandalwood, cinnamon, I still think that maybe there is a touch of a white musk and some amber in here. Maybe a touch of vanilla as its sort of reminding me of a lighter version of my Chaos Theory. Its a warm scent, a resonating scent, powerful, golden and glowing. At first I wondered from the smell of the bottle why thay would call this Aureus, but on me you can really tell. This is the smell of gold and everything that it signifies: regalness, power, welath, and a spiritual bond. This is definately a big bottle. I'm slathering now!

I got this in two swaps actually, so its about time I tried it. Since the imp attacked me when I was pulling out one to try, I figured that it was demanding its turn. In the Bottle: Grape Bubblegum. Huh? Must be the wine, I guess, but its definately grape smelling. I LOVE grape! Its just not something that I was expecting. On Me: Hmm...that grape smell is gone from my wrist, but is still hanging in the air. My wrist smells a little more musty than that, from the cloves would be my guess. But that grape bubblegum smell is hanging in the air so strongly that its hard to think of anything else. My wrist has a slightly sweet smell to it, but nothing like the grape bubblegum smell in the air. Its even the type of bubblegum with the white powder on it that is kinda hard to chew. Its certainly like nothing that I expected, but its not a bad fragrance at all. In fact, its very comforting, and the contrast between what I smell in the air and what I smell on my wrist is very interesting. I don't know if I'll get a bigger bottle, but I will certainly use up the imp.

This was a freebie in my last order. In the Bottle: Juliet is all sweetpea and pear, with a touch of my favorite flowe, stargazer lily. Its actually a lot stronger than I thought it would be, but it is definately a PINK scent. On Me: This is a dry oil, if you can believe it. It doesn't remain slick as I rub my wrists together. Oh my! The smell is just intoxicating, honeysuckle and lilies, with a hint of pear. Its sweet, a head rush of sweet florals, an intensely feminine scent that is a LOT stronger than I thought that it was going to be. I have to say, no one does floral scents like BPAL. A regular purfume like this would turn my stomach. I expected that Juliet would be a sort of sorrowful scent, but this is more of a celebration of youth and feminity. If i would equate this to any particular part in the play, it would be the Ball. This is certainly a larger bottle in the future.

In the Bottle: There is a sharpness to this one, a brilliant white scent from the rose, but mellowed out by the sweetness of the carnation and tea. Its a bright white, folled by the softest blush of youth. On Me: Wow, what a blend. I thought that the rose was going to dominate this one, but in fact, it is the tea that seems to be at the forefront. There is a slight spiciness here, mellowed by the carnation and the rose. This truely is a wonderful scent. I catch sight of a young girl, trying on clothes from an old trunk in the attic, a large hat perched precariously on her head and a lace parosal twirling lightly in her gloved hands. Her borrowed shoes far too big for her small feet, clunking down the stairs, the dress hiked up high in her hands so that she doesn't trip. An old fur stole is across her arms, the netting of the hat pulled over her face. She twists this way and that in front of her mother's mirror before trying on her makeup and purfume. Then she goes back to her own room to start the tea party with Mr. Fluffykins the bear and Hop-A-Long Sally the bunny. Perhaps she'll invite old Mrs. Rainbow Brite along too, if she remembers to keep her elbows off of the table.

This was a freebie in my order, ah glorious BPAL sent me a Fury! In the Bottle: Chocolate covered raspberries with cedar wood in the background. Mmmmmm.....yummy! On me: Oh wow....there's the olives! And the raspberries are a lot more potent on me than in the bottle. The leaves are just wonderful together, reminding me of a very aged raspberry wine boxed up in cedarwood. You walk by the box that you are still waiting on opening until that special occasion, and you can smell of the scents mingling together from that one time that you popped the cork, smelling to see if it was just right yet. This just screams Greece with the olives. What I wouldn't give for a good Greek restaurant around here somewhere. Maybe I could make some Baklava this weekend if I could find good enough Phyllo Dough. This will SO be a bigger bottle for me in the furture, as well as getting the rest of the Furies. I love this! I want to move to Greece!!!

Try the Dormouse. Its Earl Grey with a few other teas, one definately with rosehips, and maybe some peach thrown in. No Leather, and LOTS of Earl Grey.

Moon Rose is really excellent and so is UltraViolet. Mint smells usually do it for me, then rose of all things. I hope that things get better for you.

This was another scent that wasn't on my wish list that I got as a freebie from my last order. In the Bottle: Mmm...fruity pear and maybe a hint of peach, but with the herbal quality of a good warm tea, which right now just sounds soooo good for a scratchy throat. On Me: Mmm...I can't believe that this wasn't on my wish list before! Earl Grey is definately coming through on this one, and I am happy to say that I have some and shall be brewing up a cup as soon as I am done here. The peony is really coming through as well and...is that rosehips? Maybe a bit of berry in as well? The wind outside is blustery with the beginnings of winter chill creeping into skeletons of trees and bushes that have dropped thier leaves in what seems like an eternity ago. The old lady sits on her porch, watching the remaining dry fall leaves fly like spent banners in the air, the end results of the war between Nature and Father Time. On her lap is her knitting, a warm blanket for the nights to come, light blues and greens betraying an icy wintery calling. At her side is a small table which sits a porcelain tea cup, saucer, and kettle, the scent of warm tea fills the air. And you swear...from inside the kettle, you hear.... Twinkle twinkle little bat...

This was one that I wasn't even thinking of trying, but came as a freebie in my last order. In the Bottle: Very dark woods and an herbal scent to it. This makes me think of black, choaking forests that no light can penetrate. The smaller trees grow twisted and dark, thier leafless branches reaching out for something, anything to feed them. On Me: Darker still, but now the hazelnut is starting to show through. It gives it an almost rotting quality to it, of wood rotting from the inside out in the darkness, of dank cellars where the planks chip away at the slightest touch and the whole room smells of things gone to seed. As it begins to mellow out, the scent blends much more. It is still the dark forest, but the rot is hiding, the real image on which the illusion of the other forest rests. The trees here look inviting, but only on the surface. In truth they are waiting for you to trip, so that thier roots can snag, their branches catch, as they reach out to feast on your bones, to open thier maws that you could have just sworn was just a crack, so that they can stave off the rotting just for a few weeks longer. I love it when an oil can give me this much inspiration. I may not wear this often, but this is definately my horror inspiration bottle.

In the Bottle: Heavy rose and patchouli, which is great, considering that while I'm smelling that I can't smell the ass scent of Pulse Points. This is good. On Me: Wanton is much more sandalwood than in the bottle, with the spicy rose scent coming up as well. This isn't as feminine a rose scent as Moon Rose or Ophelia, no this is much more raw, much more assertive. This is women's lib rose, someone screaming that just because you wear rose oil doesn't mean that I'm not going to curb stomp you. Wanton doesn't have that etheral quality to it either, like most BPAL rose scents. This is a great scent, much better than the ass smell that I had on earlier. What a different rose scent. I'm impressed.

In the Bottle: This smells like a perfume that my grandmother used to wear, though I can't remember the name of it. Was it White Diamonds? Is that what it smells like? I'll have to ask her when she comes in for Cass's Birthday party. On Me: Now I'm almost certain it was White Diamonds, because my kids come home smelling like this when they spend the night. Its very strong, so next time I shouldn't use 3 swipes of the wand. There is another scent there, though I only catch it every once in a while. A darker scent that peeks out, like a stalker peeking into an open window. Maybe that's the black poppy? I'm not sure. It certainly changes the scent though, as more and more of it is beginning to show through. Its changing from White Diamonds to something sinfully erotic, something dark and musky. Almost like the kinky side to White Diamonds. Its like taking a woman into the bedroom expecting her to be demure with you, and then she pulls out the whip and the strap on. At the same time, I can see why people got an Ass smell to this one. Its not as bad as Debauchery (which was a scat smell in the making) but the potential is there, and the more darker this one gets, the more like ass it smells. Its teetering on the edge of sex and ass right now and I'm hoping and praying that it doesn't tip over. :Holds wrists away from her face: Damnit! It tipped! UGH! Well, this just goes to show you, White Diamonds smells like ass. Off to the swaps you wretched thing!

In the Bottle: And what a pretty bottle it is, with black strings like my Tarot oils. Vixen is orange with the spiciness of patcholi, but once you take you nose away, ginger seems to fill your nostrils. I've liked ginger in the imps so far. On Me: The spicy orange reminds me of sticking cloves in an orange fro Christmas. But there is the delicious smell of ginger behind it, a lovely smell that makes me want sushi! This is playful and sinfully sweet and sexy. Oh....now I'm hungry.

In the Bottle: Magdalene is crisp white roses and sweet orchid. A very feminie fragrance that just exudes a come-hither nature. On Me: This fades to a light rose scent that is just intoxicating. Sweet, innocent, but the promise of sensuality. This is certainly a dual fragrance that gets the blood quickening. This is highly sexual for me. I LOVE it.

In the Bottle: MMmmm...Violets and something green. I love violets! On Me: Totally violets and something that has a burning smell to it. Dry woods on a flame. A small forest fire with Violets in the background. Mmmmm.....lovely!

Bewitching, tantalizing and dangerously seductive. A thrilling, exotic blend -- deceptively sweet, but spiked with malice. White ginger, jasmine, and a touch of vanilla and apricot. In the Bottle: Siren is thick ginger with that ooey gooey vanilla smell, the kind that you just think of a vanilla bar. On Me: The spricot comes out a little stonger now, and it is the same apricot that's in the Aprocot imp, a dried chewey apricot smell. Added to the tangy sweet ginger and the thick vanilla, its simply gorgeous. The ginger is so potent that it reminds me of the ginger slices that you get with sushi. Mmmm....sushi. Suddenly my over depessed self is hungry again. I haven't eaten in a few days, so this is really a blessing in diguise. I am in love with this one. I'm gonna start slathering!

In the Bottle: Wine and pumpkin bread, very buttery and thick. I'm not certain if that is a good combo or not, to tell you the truth. On me: This is a golden colored liquid that is VERY foody and VERY strong. The intense pumpkin smell dominates for a few seconds before this strong wine scent returns. The wine is gorgous, fruity, with a floral trailing behind it that is just beautiful. But if you get too close to my wrist, the pumpkin still dominates. It doesn't radiate outwards, but its right there on my wrist. The more I sniff it, the more it does seem to go together. All the scents of Autumn crushed in a bottle. This is the reason why I love October more than any other month. I wonder if they will ever make an Oktoberfest smell? This one is pretty close.

In the Bottle: King of Spades has an even stronger scent of grapefruit than Queen of Spades did with a hint of tropical coconut. Despite all this, it retains a dark under-quality about it. It makes me shiver! On Me: This is a light colored, dry oil, which is very different from the red colored slick and thick oil of his mate. The grapefruit and coconut smell seem to rule this one instead of the dark woods of the Queen. Perhaps the grapefuit scent that I am getting is the dark plum? I'm not sure. Leave it to a Floridian to put it in terms of citris smells. There is a strong hint of vanilla now, warm and glowing. It isn't that thick, bar type of vanilla, but it is yummy all the same. Yeah, slathering now. I really should have bought another of these two scents.
