  1. Dust and Fire

    Loup Garou

In the imp: Juniper and lots of it! Smells like the park I used to go to as a kid. *insert warm fuzzy memories* On: This one phases really fast one me; went from juniper with a wee tinge of eucalyptus and moved into earth, straight dug-up forest floor, yum. Then I smelled like a Christmas Tree. After that it morphed into fresh sawdust, then fresh-cut pine (as I love working with wood, this makes me very happy lol), then the earthy smell came back up. Seems there's this tinge of something warm and slightly sweet around the edges, maybe whatever they used to make the earth scent, it's very faint though. Doesn't last too long, on the upside I can apply liberally without making my nose feel molested. Me keeping this one

In the imp: Butter, coffe mate, and Bailys- times about a thousand. Painfully sweet. On: The sweet toffee/bailys type scent was so strong and overwhelming, I only left it on about 15 minutes before scrubbing it off. Even then it was like a villian from a slasher movie: it Just.Wouldn't.Die! I turned on the fan and opened the window, and after washing my hands for the 5th time it finally came off though it continued to linger on in my room . After each scrubbing I'd sniff my wrist and I could catch the dust and the coffee underneath, but it was so drowned out I couldn't get to it. I'm gonna leave it in the bottle for a while, cross my fingers, and hope it mellows a lot a bit, I was so looking forward to this one.

In the imp: Chocolate! Spices and choclate with something wetly floral underneath. On my skin: Definetly getting the incense(though it smelled a bit like an outdoor spice market to me, rather than incense), after a while it turned sharp, almost astrigant.During the last phase the warmth showed up again to bring the incense back with the brighter, cleaner smell fading into the background. Somehow it all balanced out for me and I found it to be totally gorgous, even the wierdly unexpected lemony-ish part in the middle; it held its own amongst all the food smells as I had to spend hours in the kitchen today, it was never overwhelming, and I LOVED the spice without it being too heavy or too sweet. Definetly a keeper!
