  1. This scent was given out as a frimp at the Sea of Tranquility will calls, 12/22/07. Companion of Winter Holiday 2007 Stress Relief Elixir bottle.

The label is so cute- it has colored Xmas lights as a border. Reminds me of MB: Ventiloquist Dummy without the woods. Cakey, caramely, chocolately, and with an undernote of patchouli, this will be a hit with foody fans. The cocoa absolute separates to create a brown residue on the bottom of the imp. Infer as you must.
On the skin, I get cocoa as a top note and a hint of patchouli. Not much throw but lingers.

  2. White Tea and Ginger is one of my fave B&BW scents, so this is right up my alley. It's sharper, more lush then the store blend. Mostly tea on the skin, but undertones of ginger. Recommended for tea lovers, and those who want something a little, I dunno, sweeter and spicier than black tea scents.

  3. Orchid and musk in the imp, same but amped on my skin. I love orchid, so this is me, but the musk has more staying power. Definitely my go-to musk. Recommended for anyone who likes any of the notes.

  4. This is an interesting one. Fruity amber in the imp, absorbed immediately into my skin. I'm kinda glad I don't like it since it's being discontinued. Doesn't remind me of rage at all, unless it's the type of rage that simmers inside you quietly.

  5. Fresh, aquatic, and slightly floral in the imp. I can barely recognize most of the notes, much less discern them. Very very green on the skin. Leafy at first and morphs quickly into a green floral- that's the honeysuckle (the one I know!). Good throw.

  6. Piney, woody, and earthy in the imp, like a forest. Softer on the skin, and the dominant note is oakmoss, tempered by the patchouli. Great fall scent, one of the few "woodsy" scents I like. Wish it had more throw.

    ETA: I reviewed Samhainophobia 2006.

  7. Fresh moist dirt in the imp. Fresh and kinda nondescript on my skin. The dirt is very soft. I don't get any floral from it but I'd bet it's smoothing out the earthy tones. Not my cuppa, but can see others who are more into earth liking it.

  8. I don't get much in the imp- some lemon. Sweet and cinnamony on my skin. Spicy but subtle. Irritates my skin a little, so sensitive types beware. Not for me, but would rock on others as a romantic scent. It is a love potion after all. :P

  9. Honestly smells like toothpaste in the imp. Cinnamon toothpaste, but still. Very fresh with spicy undertones on the skin. Still getting toothpaste and now I can taste it if I put my nose close enough. Swap pile.

Edited because I put tube instead of imp

  10. Beth is brilliant- this smells like a deep, spooky tunnel! I get dirt, wood, and stone, with just a little bit of aquatic mixed in. It's mostly dirt and water on my skin, but it's beautiful. A unique scent, good for daytime or halloween wear. Wish it had better throw though.

    ADDED Dec. 20:

A strange scent I can't put my finger on- sharp, slightly aquatic, and light. Definitely invokes a dank tunnel. At first it's very light, then my skin amps it like crazy. There's a stone quality to it, of all things. Certainly didn't expect to smell that in a perfume. Tickles my nose a little.
