In the imp I get subtle butterscotch. On my skin I get a strong golden vanilla with lots of throw that doesn't fade quickly. Good for halloween through Christmas, and unisex, unless the floral comes out on you. Reminds me a little of MB: VD, but without the woodsyness. Hey, I just made up a word!

    Follow Me Boy

Deep, bold floral. Can't peg the notes but I'd bet magnolia and jasmine. Smells kinda meek in the bottle but when combined with skin transforms into a roaring beauty that will turn heads. Don't slather this one because it has a throw and lasts a while.

    Australian Copperhead (2006)

I bought this solely because I want bottles of places I've been, and I need a bottle for Australia. The notes aren't something I'd pick normally. However, I really like it. The berries are strong in the bottle, but on my skin the snake oil is strong, tempered by the neroli with a hit of berry. It lasts a while with a good throw. I don't get any vanilla. Good for a day when you want to smell different, because no other company would make this. Not that that's a bad thing.

Incredibly crisp and lush- like walking through garden at night. More floral on the skin, more green in the imp. The musks ground the scent, and on me it lengthens the time it stays on my skin. This is more of a jungle scent than a desert scent to me, but I'm weird.

    Delousing Powder

I agree that it's very much lemon cleansing powder- specifically, it reminds me of Comet. But wearable. Fades pretty quickly, at least the lemon part does. Light- which is good, because if this was strong it would clear your sinuses. A great keepsake.

    The Caterpillar

Yep, incense. There's a creamy note in the imp, but the patchouli comes out strong on my skin. Not really my style- just a little too dark. I prefer spices and florals. But this would smell great on a man.

    The Mock Turtle's Lessons

Light green apple, with touches of mint and lime. Fresh, crisp, and absorbs quickly. Reminds me of DKNYs Green Delicious but not as heavy.

    Paris

This is a very sweet lavender, tempered well by the lotus. I don't get much spice, but something tickles my nose and keeps the scent grounded. Tarter in the imp than on the skin.

    Amsterdam

Very green in the imp, and very watery with some peony on my skin. It's a little soapy once I get it on, so I doubt I'll wear it. But I bet it would be a beautiful green flowerbed on someone else.

    Incantation

I don't get dark from this. In fact, it's very sunny to me. Lots of lemon and vetiver, with a nice sandalwood undertone that doesn't hit you over the head. Good if you want a lighter scent.

    Pink Phoenix

luckybuzz hit the nail on the head. Strawberry soda, with less fizz. Absorbs quickly. Description of "silliness" is pretty good.

    Ouija

Very woody, almost bitter in the imp. Kinda nutmeg-y and spicy on the skin- maybe that's the osthmanus. I barely get floral from this, just a light sweet undertone. Not my fave, doubt I'll wear it.

    Les Fleurs du Mal

Very sweet. I get a lot of lilac, especially on my skin. Not as dark as the name implies. I wish there was a bit of spice to temper this down, because it's sweeeeet, as Napoleon Dynamite would say. Lasts a while for a light floral.

    Monster Bait: biggerCritters

They weren't kidding when they said five vanillas! I can't smell the other notes at all in the imp. On my skin it's all about the pink grapefruit, but muted by the vanilla. Still very sweet. I don't like foody scents, but this one is more fruity on me. I like it, and love the name. A keeper.

    Gemini 2007

In the imp I smell a soft lavender muted by orchid and I think vanilla. But on my skin I get a burst of sharp sharp lavender and then a muted but putrid scent. Blech. Pretty but not for me.

    Blue Moon 2007

... Mugwort and bay, for psychic sensitivity... Juniper, for divination through dreams... Orchid and galbanum, for complexity, wisdom and noscere... with a potent lunar-charged blend of exquisite Asian woods, moonflower, Madagascan ylang ylang, Florentine iris, Greek cypress, davana, green tea absolute, palmarosa, cucumber, Clary sage, melilot trefoils, wood aloes, and pale creeping buttercup. I was intimidated by the complexity of the blend and didn't order a bottle, opting for a decant. Kinda glad I did now, because I find this scent to be candy-like in the imp. Smells better on the skin, but nothing to write home about- a highly sweet floral. Wait it's changing...is that? Yes it's a summer evening with the haze and the flowers and the sunset. Just more water weighing down the florals I guess. I'm crying like Paris Hilton in handcuffs- this is really good. Well, I have my imp. Edited to add lab description

    Rose Moon

The roses dance above darker notes, and make the blend airy in the imp. Once on my skin, it's a lot of roses, and nothing else. Yep. Just a big bundle of roses. Wait, there's the opium poppy springing up to say hi. As it fades it gets more complex. An interesting blend that I wish lasted a little longer, and was a little darker.

    Tamamo-no-Mae

Ginger! Tea! Florals! How did I not buy a bottle of this? Oh, that's right- I didn't have any money. In the imp, it explodes with a soft candy-like floral with a undercoating of ginger. On my skin, it reminds me of Bath and Body Works' White Tea and Ginger. Unfortunately, it absorbs very quickly. Darn. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't buy that bottle.

    Phantasm

In the imp: Lemon pledge...not sure about this one Wet: mmm...lemonade Drydown: Very tart lemon Later: Aaaannd we're back to lemon pledge. To the swap pile we shall go.

    Nephilim

In the imp: Lavender and pine Wet: There's the frankinsence, and it's strong Drydown: Pine is back, with patchouli and a hint of lavender; it's sweet Later: Light lavender soap. Darn. Man, this is a morpher. I thought a jack in the box would pop up and say hi. But soon it settled down and it smells like I just washed my hands with lavender soap. Nice, but there are other scents I'd rather wear.

    Venice

In the imp: the lemon is dominant, but there's florals too. Wet: to quote canpake, "OMG lemon!" It does smell like furniture polish! Drydown: a pretty lemon, but still lemon Later: Fades really fasts, as in ten minutes, but the lemon leaves first and reveals very light florals Eh, I don't like the smell. Or the fact that it fades quicker than a jackrabbit. Too bad, I like the wanderlust series. ADDED Oct. 10: The lemon is very prominent in the imp, but it's an undernote on my skin. I get more rose and sandalwood. Not really my cuppa tea, but could make a good subtle scent for someone else.

    Black Dahlia

In the imp: a dark, rich orchid with a undernote of magnolia Wet: Hmm, another flower comes out...jasmine maybe? Drydown: Deep floral; I catch a little of everything, with a base of amber Later: Staying power, but not much throw; it softens and sweetens a little over time Orchid scents are my thing, so this works for me. Also, ambers stay a long time on my skin, so that helps too. I wish the magnolia was a little stronger. It works well for the name. ADDED Dec. 20: Smoky flowers in the imp, but unlike most smoky scents it fades quickly into my skin. Why does my skin love to eat BPAL? Another swap.

    Mr. Ibis

The aloe is strong in this one. (Say that sentence in a Yoda voice) In the imp, it's sweet aloe mellowed by sandalwood. Turns soapy on my skin. That's about it.

    Poisson d'Avril

In the imp: Green, light, soft floral; hard to pick out individual notes (but I'm not good at that anyway) Wet: Roses softened by other florals Dry: Very powdery florals, especially rose Later: This one hangs in there, especially for a floral; it turns greener as time goes by I really like this- not my fave floral, but a good basic. Nice for events where you don't want to overwhelm or offend those around you, but still wear something BPAL.

    Monster Bait: Ventriloquist Dummy

In the imp- woody caramel wet- nutty, with some caramel; kinda like smelling a candy bar drydown- patchouli comes out now, and woods dry- light woodsy patchouli smell, with a hint of caramel I like it, but I won't wear it a lot- it's not really my style.
