    Fae

When I first got Fae more than a year ago, I couldn't stand it. Honestly, I took a whiff of it and thought it smelled like black licorice (I hate black licorice). I didn't touch it again. But today I decided to give it another try. And guess what? I'm in love. It still smells a little like black licorice, but I do smell the shimmery sparkly peach there. It's gorgeous and feminine and it makes me giddy. It smells so good on me I don't really know what to do with myself. Yup. There you go.

    Queen of Sheba

Wahh. I wanted to like this one, but all I can smell is almonds and plastic. It makes me queasy to even sniff the bottle. On the wrist it's super strong and headache-inducing. On the drydown it calms down a lot, but not enough to be enjoyable.

    Zombi

Ooh, this is quite pretty! Definitely an earthy scent. I get the whisper of a rose, dry and dusty, but somehow rich and earthy? After it mellows a few hours it calms down and becomes so uniquely beautiful... I'm so glad I got this one! ADDED Oct. 21: I've been wearing this for a while, and all the good reviews seem to come from boys... though I guess I shouldn't be surprised that some guys want their women to smell like dirt.

    Rage

Wet... ack. Toilet cleaner. On the drydown, a kind of berry smell pokes through, but it still smells... almost medicinal. I wish I liked this, but I don't.

    Sin

Going on, this is very incensy and a little headache-inducing (or just making my headache worse). After it's been on a while, though, a kind of woodsy sweetness pokes through (I assume that's the sandalwood). I wasn't sure of this at first, but it does end up being kind of pretty. Not bad.

    Vampire Tears

Regret born from ceaseless longing: wisteria, white grapefruit, neroli, green tea, jasmine, white ginger, honeysuckle, iris, and tonka. I agree with the person who said this smelled like lemon Pledge. It's not necessarily horrible though... lemony, a little sweet, other things that I can't identify just under the surface. I got this as a frimp, so anything free is fine with me.

    Windward Passage

This smells very much like what Sea of Glass smelled like (which I gave to a friend, whom aquatics work a lot better on than me). It's not that I don't like the smell... on the contrary, windward passage is fresh, salty and very pretty. Aquatics just aren't *me*... good thing I got this as a freebie. I think I'll hold onto it though. Wet, it smells, well, wet. Like the ocean, so salty I can almost taste it, with a hint of soap. A few minutes on and there's something else in there... something a little spicy but it's so light I can't figure out what it is. All in all, very pretty, refreshing scent!

    Gingerbread Poppet

In the bottle: Wow! Smells EXACTLY like a warm, spicy, homemade gingerbread cookie! Wet: The same, though I can smell the cloves coming out a little more. Incredibly spicy, but still warm enough to keep any scent overload away. I smell like a giant gingerbread man (er, girl). Drydown: This seems to be getting really sharp as it goes... hopefully it calms down a little in the next few hours! All in all though, this is so lovely.

    Bliss

Yummy, YUMMY! This smells exactly like S'mores Pop Tarts! And makes me crave a nice big chunk of milk chocolate like crazy! And the smell lasts almost all day too. Sooo glad I got a 5mL of this!

    O

Mmmm! Flowers, honey, vanilla and amber! Just lovely. My fav so far... I'm so glad I ordered a 5 mL of this.

    Wicked

Initially upon wearing this, all I get is a very strong jasmine, no rose at all. It's heavy and a little cloying... gives me a headache too. After a few hours, the haughtiness is all but gone and what's left is a nice and creamy (albeit powdery) soft floral. The end of Wicked is nice, but not nice enough for the first few hours.

    La Petite Mort

Ohh... I so, so wanted to love this. It smelled kind of ambiguous in the bottle, but on my skin it just turned to baby powder. After a few hours, I could smell some spices and honey... nice to wear, but I don't think I'll be getting a bottle of this.

    Harlot

In the bottle: ROSE. Not "rose". A very loud, very wet, rose. Eep. On: Roses and cinnamon hearts! Too much of a sniff of this makes my nose wrinkle a bit, but just some errant wafts are kind of nice. Red velvet comes to mind, a deep red lipstick and a flirtatious smirk while sipping from a glass of red wine. I'm not sure it's me, but I still kinda like it.
