Wet: Sexy banana with a hint of banana notes and vetiver doing a dirty dance on the floor.
Dry: The banana has left the building folks! She is gone and all that is left is the vetiver and cocoa. But they are barely there!! One minute...it's love the next, poof! Gone.
I am going to have to track down a bottle b/c this is glorious...I just wish it lasted longer.

I am so annoyed. This reformulation is missing Snake oil. On my skin, it's all mint all the time with a drop of green tea and a half a drop of snake oil. I will have to pass this on.

Band aids. Band aids and glorious red poppies. *sigh* This decant is off to the swaps.
-
It's warm sandalwood on me. Not much more. Not much less. I am grateful to have the bottle...but I won't need more of this one.

This started out as a lovely, gentle sweet floral. This is what I wanted Mouse's Sad Long tale to smell like. Then poof! The vanilla sugar is gone and replaced by sweet pea. Like a flat sweet pea soda without the carbonation. The sweet pea stole the sparkle in this. Sadly this goes off to sale.

This smells expensive and golden. It really reminds me of the evil Queen in Snow White and Huntsman. Decadent, incensy, golden and powerful. So glad I have a bottle.

Smells like heaven. But it starts out like hell. Wet: There is something in this that burns the back of my throat. It's just harsh and burning. Dry: It's like this lovely, dry, sweet pipe tobacco blooms on my skin. It's amazing. I got a decant today and had to order a bottle. It's just that good. So glad I tried. it.

At first, Gorgeous plum and tea. Dry...nasty, cherry blossom air freshner. Bleh.

On me this smells like Tattered Lace is involved in a sex party. Sweet, slightly sticky, with a hint of florals. Not a fan. But it is very pretty.
-
Autumn cider smells like pure apple cider. The spice is stronger. Have you tried other Apple scents? Apple is one of my favorite notes, so if you ever have a question on Recommendations, just let me know.

Cologney but in a good way. I think I need a partial of this but no more or less.

This smells like fresh ink and paper off the press. Old fashioned printing press...but a press and paper nonetheless. And the rose is just off. Good Lord.
-
The saffron in this upsets my stomach something fierce. UGH. I can't even bear to try it out.
-
Man I wish this had more PEAR!!! This is the vanilla from Faith on me, with the orris giving it that violetish note. It really is a stunner...but I need more pear! *sigh*

The amber and honey in this is luscious. Warm, dripping, and just wonderful. The wood is soft, non-intrusive and perfect. This will age like a champ. I foresee a bottle purchase in the future.

First off...vetiver. Good Grief...*wet*
As it dries the vanilla comes out....but it is barely there on me. Oddly enough, the white leather isn't strong here either which is odd b/c I amp leather. The sandalwood has softened this up quite a bit so I am left with a smooth sandalwood, light vanilla with a wisp of white leather scent on me.
Not a true fan but I am glad I got to try it.

The lily is the strongest note when wet. The grey amber keeps it in check the frankincense is barely there and the pink pepper is non-existent on me. The clove note adds to the mirror image this invokes. Whether porn or a looking glass...this scent is aptly named. I am very glad I got to try it.

Fancy Patchouli, fig, with a hint of benzoin. Meh. Not my thing...but it is going to a better home.
-
This is an earthy spring time scent. White incense to my nose=earth...but not dirt. The lemon is strong, but it is very clean smelling. Not like Lysol clean...but like you have wiped your counters down with fresh lemon juice and water. This is so light and unobtrusive. It will go well for the days I wish to wear something light and bright but not strong.
-
The frankincense is gorgeous. But the benzoin smells almost like mild menthol with the barest hints of vanilla. This is light and unobtrusive. I will keep it in the dark for a month to see how it ages.
-
Dragon's blood and white honey. The cream isn't really prominent. I enjoy this. But I think aging it will make it spectacular.
-
This is gorgeous. Violet sugary wood. It reminds me of a very light candy heart for Valentine's day without the nasty chemical note. It's gorgeous. This will require a back up bottle.

I am not good at reviews. Thus, although I've been with BPAL since 2006, I am unsure if I've ever written a review - maybe one?
Antique Lace is one of my all-time favorite scents. I love it. In all my years of BPAL-dom, it's one of two I've paid heavily for, and not regretted it. I love AL, and I know AL on my skin.
Stekk is AL with a non-buttery*** marshmallow note *on me.* The AL aspect is about 80-90% of what floats up to my nose, with the remaining 10-20% being the all-white, fresh (not cooked) marshmallow veil.
Love. Serious hoarding happening here.
***I *hate* buttery notes with a passion. HATE.
This review summed it up perfectly. I may have to make one more order for it...it's just that good. Light on the marshmallow but that vanilla note on the final drydown is AL's cousin. LOVE!

My favorite of the three. Gorgeous Frankincense with little to no perum balsam. Just gentle, soft frankincense. I love it.

This is the sexiest unicorn I have ever smelled. Tobacco, vanilla, and golden oudh. Heaven...just heavenly, sexy unicorn!
