Dark Alice

This smells like a strong version of those green mints that melt in your mouth that you can still get at some restaurants. I don't get any pistachio here which is oddand nice. Combined with pink love bird, it smells like minty cardamom pink cake. Yum!

This smells like pink, cardamom sponge cake. I want to eat it. I get no cotton candy from this thankfully.

This smells like black cherry and dry fig. I really like it. Fig normally goes poof on my skin, but here it is gorgeous! Bottleworthy

This straight up smells like a cross between pickles and a jalepeno juice. I can't even smell the cherry. This has got to go.

This starts out with a gorgeous black cherry note and then dries into the loveliest pink pepper note that tickles my nose. It's worth the investment for a bottle...it's glorious.

Wet: The apricot and vanilla take over and give me a minor headache. Dry, the wood, vanilla, and dark musk swirl together in a dark and sensual dance. This is what you wear when the one night stand you never wanted but needed in your life takes place.

I was most excited by this one. I am sad unfortunately. There is something off that's in it. Not a huge fan, I honestly think it's the sandalwood. :{

The first to review this... Wet: Red musk and the it disappears and White tea from the Unsteady Governess with the barest touches of violet begins to appear. Drydown: White tea, violet, with a dribble of red musk! Mircalla and the unsteady governess had a love child. A beautiful soft, close to the skin sexy as hell love child. The myrrh keeps it grounded and the wormwood is almost non-existent. This stuff is amazing...I see a back up in my future.

Phantasmal patterns warp and weave through panes of leaded glass. Pale shafts of frail sunbeams push through, creating a sickly dance of violet, smoke-grey, blood-red, and blackened plum light on the oaken walls. Wet: This stuff smells eerie and creepy. There is a soft rose here. But it's not red, it's not white...it's just a soft, decrepit rose. As it dries violet and something grey (maybe a light grey musk) comes out. This is one of those scents that doesn't need notes...it evokes an image of looking through a gorgeous stained glass window in a dusty parlor room. (There is definitely no dust in it though) I wish I could describe this better but I do know that I love it and will be keeping my bottle

If you ever imagined how garnet would smell, this is it. Soft red musk, a touch of sweetness and something that its not sharp but a note that reminds me the toughness of the stone. Maybe the mahogany. It's just amazing.

This is wonderful. The cedarwood does not turn to pencils shavings on me. The vanilla floats in the background and makes the description of this scent dead on: Dry and husky-sweet. This is an inoffensive warm scent that will do well with a little age and then be worn on cold days where I want to feel warm and dry outside and sweet and soft when I get home. It's not cuddly, but it is lovely.

There is no Juniper in this..thank the Lord. It's all smoky vanilla and oudh with patchouli and ambrette seed. I don't smell any saffron either. It's a great public speaking scent. I will be wearing this in court as it gives me a such a sense of confidence.

Wet: It smells like lightening and water. It definitely has a tinge of ozone and then there comes the mint. This glorious mild mint, with ozone, and water and lightening. It is legitimately magical!

This was the scent I chose based on instinct and the notes. I was not disappointed. Wet: It all smells like the tonka, olibanum and the damn dead leaf/cologne note are fighting for supremacy. Dry: These notes blend beautifully. The olibanum is not heavy, the tonka keeps it sweet and the leaf note behaves. I am going to age b/c I know it will be fantastic in a few months!!!

This smells like a nice brown leather binder sat in some moss and flowers in the woods. It's lovely!

This is like walking in a well kept library with leather bound books in a fancy city like Venice. It's lovely from wet to dry. Partial needed.

Stick your head in a fresh vase of lilacs and that's all you get. I amp lilac and this is a fresher version but still a headache inducer.

Saltwater, sea glass. It smells like I am eating glass. The notes give me a headache. But it's is dead on accurate.

It never fails with rice powder, I smell like rose scented rice from Uncle Ben's. The rice even smells buttery FFS. I can't win. But at least I smell like fancy rice.

Legit, wet this smells like a peach farted on my skin. Just farted peach. Dry, the vanilla, amber and cacao come to life with a very small hint of peach. I like it, but I don't know if I will keep it.

This sums up my experience succinctly. This was essential in getting through the retrograde from hell in July. And now another comes upon us again. I will be getting a lot of wear out of it daily!

Fucking hipsters. Sweet tobacco and raw patchouli with Italian bergamot, pine needle, vintage dime store musk, and red sandalwood. Welp. Sadly this is my first fail. The sweet tobacco and dime store musk...are a nauseating combination on my skin. I amp metal, so I should have known that when Beth said dime, she meant it. I am releasing this out into the world in hopes that someone else will like it. Thank God it's only an imp.
