    Quincey Morris

In the bottle tobacco. And a hint of cedar? Strong throw. Really strong. I get some on my finger accidentally and a soft leather (you know the expensive buttery type) comes through. Definitely masculine. On the boy the leather really comes through and once in a while I'll get a whiff of something fruity. He approves of this scent -- hooray! I LOVE this smell on him, he smells sooo good. The imp is enough as he'll only be wearing it around me and since you only need a very tiny bit, this will last a looong time. Quincey gets a thumbs up from me.

    Pumpkin Patch II (2005, 2006)

I got a decant of this from a decant circle. In the imp, smells like scratch and sniff stickers (the ones that were supposed to smell like chocolate)!! On skin, cocoa, but really still reminds me of a scratch and sniff sticker. No pumpkin yet. 5-7 minutes later…PUMPKIN! Warm chocolatey pumpkin. Yum yum YUM. After awhile the chocolate fades and the pumpkin remains...and then the cocoa comes back every now and again. The scent doesn't last too long, a few hours at most. I'd love to try Jack and see how it compares to this. Overall, I really like this scent and will probably use up the entire imp this fall.

    Regan

The smell reminds me of dew on a flower. This would be a second skin scent where one has to lean into you REALLY close to smell it. Afterwards the vanilla starts coming out more clearly. It's sweet but not too sweet. This lasts forever (all through the day and night) and is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Great for spring or summer wear.

    The Isles of Demons

In the bottle it smells very green and lush smelling. On skin, it stays the same, still very lush and green with a hint of floral. A few minutes pass and now it smells wet. I can picture a jungle now, green, damp, with exotic flowers. This ends up smelling very "clean" on me. I don't get a "volcanic" smell from it. I got this imp because the description and name sounded interesting and this is one of my favourite scents that I reach for again and again. I would buy this again and possibly a bottle depending on how quickly I go through the imp.

    Black Dahlia

On skin smells classy. A little flowery, but subtle. Very feminine. At first reminds me of something an older woman would wear. I thought I wouldn't like this at all, but I like it. It's soft and feminine and very womanly. I instantly thought of my mom when I put it on me. I put some on my mom and she loves it! She says she can smell ylang ylang and anise from it. I like this as it's soft and feminine, but overall it's not me -- it's just too feminine for my tastes. I gave the imp to my mom and if she plows through the imp, I'll buy her a bottle for her birthday. I wonder if I've enabled my mother...

    Dragon's Bone

I got this as a frimp from the lab. I've only tried this on once, so I may try it again to see if my opinion changes. Dragon's Bone smells very woodsy in the bottle. On, it smells kind of soapy. Soapy and dry if that makes any sense. Smells a bit masculine to me. Not really my thing, but I love it on my boyfriend! It smells very comforting, warm, and dry and not soapy at all. I don't think I'll be ordering this, but I'll definitely be enjoying the imp on my boyfriend.

    Aquatics

I haven't fully tested this out (still got the flu so the nose may be a bit off). I really liked The Isle of Demons. The scent is of wet, dark greenery, carnivorous flowers, volcanic gas, and the hot black musk of the demons and wild beasts that populated the islands. It's very green and lush when you put it on and then morphs into a very clean wet scent.

    Somnus

A really strong smell which is surprising for something that is supposed to induce sleep. I smell lavendar and jasmine. This unfortunately does not work for me at all. I think I will try TAL'S Nocturne and see if that helps me sleep better.

    Drink Me

In the bottle, it smells like butterscotch! Like Werthers in liquid form. On it smells like hot buttered popcorn and then buttery yummy cake when it dries. The boyfriend LOVES the smell of this (he says it smells like Christmas -- bwuh?). Scent lasts for ages too, but I suspect I'll be going through this imp quite quickly as I love to re-apply this. This will definitely be on my big bottle list, yummy through and through.

    Milk & Honey

This smells of lemons to me, and then changes into a creamy lemon, and then about 20 minutes later baby powder. As for effectiveness, it's too early to tell, but my day went a lot smoother when I put it on. I was able to aquire a ride when I thought I wouldn't be able to, my volunteer work with a client that can be pretty volatile was nice to me, I got a discount on a tea that I wasn't expecting, and when I thought I missed the bus because I decided to walk to the next stop, the bus got delayed and I was able to catch that bus without running. As for love, my SO hasn't come home yet, so I will edit this later and again when I can test this out more than once to see if it's truly effective. ETA: doesn't look like it changed anything love-wise. I'll update this again once I've tried it a few times for it's effectiveness. ETA 10/08/06: Well something happened yesterday that fit quite well with one of my intentions using this oil a week ago. It completely surprised me. So was this the TAL or coincidence? I'm going to say the TAL had some influence even though I haven't used it for a week.

    Bliss

In the bottle, this smells of pure milk chocolate. On my skin, it stays the same and it smells absolutely delicious. So much so, that I get a craving to have a chocolate bar. The throw is pretty strong on this too. While I LOVE the scent of chocolate, I kind of don't want to feel like a big giant walking chocolate bar. I would buy a big bottle of this to scent my bath products, as a room scent, or to use as layering, but I wouldn't wear it by itself.

    Snake Oil

I smelled this for the first time at a meet 'n sniff. In the bottle the scent was off putting so I didn't try it on. I came by it again and decided to try it. I obsessively sniffed my arm and was given the imp (bpalers are SO very generous). It feels warm when it goes on. Warm vanilla smell with musk. Also seems to have a slightly floral note to it. After 20 mins or so, the floral disappears and scent becomes very sensual. It grows on you and becomes kind of addictive. This scent has a good throw and I could get a good whiff of it if a breeze blew by. It lasts for hours and hours. I'm undecided about getting a bottle or not. I think it mostly smells of musk after a few hours, the boyfriend seems to think it smells like baby powder. *sigh*

    Jezebel

My first bpal review! I got this lovely imp from the very generous folks at a meet 'n sniff (rule of addiction: first one is always free). On me I can't smell the roses (which is good, I'm not a rose fan) or the orange blossom. It smells sweet and powdery and a little bit sexy. I can definitely detect the honey and sandalwood. This is a more grown up sweet scent. It lasts for hours and the throw isn't too strong on me. I definitely like this and would consider a big bottle of this.
