Starts almond but blessedly that fades fast and then it’s very nice. Oooooh! A little sharpness, not quite lemon. I really like what it’s doing.

Fruity cherry orange start. Spicy fruit salad. Fades down into a less sharp, more pleasant scent. Just ok. Not sure I want to smell like a vat of mulled cider.
-
Also very nice. Cinnamon, mmmmmn! That’s mostly what I’m getting, though, no other notes are coming up on me.
-
Fruity. This is nice, exactly as described. I like this!

Rome
in Wanderlust
Refined, austere and graceful. A recipe gleaned from Classical Rome: cypress, juniper, chamomile and rose.
Rose, but not thay horrible cloying rose, a really nice mix instead! I like this, I would wear this, There is a bit more to it than straight up rose, but that’s mostly what I’m getting.

There’s that almond again... Fortunately once again it fades down to a nice spice. But it’s just not as wonderful as I hoped it would be.

Wow, very dry smoky wow! It’s spicy, a little, but mostly woody & smoky. It is a scent I keep going back to. It would work as a masculine scent, but I like it too.
-
Oh my god yes yes yes spicy whoot!!! This is lovely, a thick sweet floral that redefines floral. And it lasts a long, long, long time.
-
Starts medicine. Eucalyptus, which is of course Vicks Vapor Rub. Thankfully that’s fading fast, so lets see what the next hour brings... Mild, not bad, but not exciting.

Bayou

A lazy, warm deep green scent with a thick aquatic undertone: Spanish moss, evergreen and cypress with watery blue-green notes and an eddy of hothouse flowers and swamp blooms.
Oh, this is very nice! Very pretty greeny scent. Now I’m getting the florals. I like this a lot! Wow, yes I would wear this. -
Starts cherry then immediately the chocolate comes up. Mmmmmm! Chocolate covered cherries, very nice, but again do I want to smell like this? This makes me realize what I would really like — chocolate. Pure, unadulterated dark chocolate. Maybe with a dash of cinnamon.

Starts with a smell that makes me want to glue my nose to my wrist, the part of a lollipop that says “suck on me.” Now it’s turning a bit spicy. This is a foodie smell I actually like to wear. Funny how that works. It does settle down to slightly more subtle. On me, it’s exacty as described.

Starts almond bleah. Oh, now the other bits are coming up. Oooooh! My nose keeps being drawn back to this one again and again. Hmmmn, the almond is coming back, not so obnoxious as in the beginning.

Soft & sweet. A very “lady” sort of smell. Perhaps a young widow sitting in her lawyer’s office discussing how she can’t imagine how it all happened... A nice one on me.
-
I tried Pele today, and it's sweet and light and is something I would like when I was little, too.
-
I really like the name - how can you not?
Right out of the bottle, OH WOW DO ME RIGHT NOW THIS IS SO INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm testing scents with a co-worker and we managed to control ourselves.
Fades down fairly quickly. Bored now. Well, maybe it’s coming back… Really subtle now...
But it's no match for the Voodoo on the other wrist, which keeps arrtacting my nose like a magnet.
Now it’s laundromat. I suppose some people may have laundromat fantasies (usually involving the spin cycle), but it reminds me of being bored, dry heat, and wishing that the dryer was more interesting to stare at.
Well, poo.

On me, it's wine, plum and candy. Hmmmn, plum wine then? The sweetness is about the same. Interesting, but as I start my explorations of BPAL, I don't think it's something I would want to wear.

Pineapple. Must be the melon. Settles down into something nice & wearable.
