Well, I don't get the licorice that a lot of people have reported, but this still isn't for me. Very herbal and lots of benzoin, but almost none of the iris or amber.

Caramel with a touch of tobacco. Not very musky. Not really getting mint or sage at all.

A lot foodier than I thought it would be - the ginger is coming out *a lot* and really is overwhemling the florals. Not really for me.

A dentist's office. Mint mouthwash and men's cologne. Maybe a touch of licorice.

Interesting. It simultaneously smells like a touch of all of the notes and yet not really like any of them. Overall effect is kind of indistinct.

It definitely smells like lilies, but lilies are not a particularly good scent for me. To me there's a touch of laundry powder covering up a slight mildew.

Rather chemically. Definitely gardenia, but I'm not sure this is for me.

Lots of patchouli and vetiver. Not getting much of the ylang ylang at all, and (thank goodness) no trace of the blood orange.

I get cinnamon and something a bit sharper. I think there's maybe some vetiver in here, too, but it's subtle.

In bottle: Pure lavender.

 

On me: A softer, very innocent lavender mellowed by magnolia. Lovely.

In bottle: Strange mishmash of stuff that's conflicting with each other...lemon, wood scents, mint...weird.

 

On me: The overall effect is almost aquatic. I think the woods are on top if you pressed me, but it's hard to pick out anything distinct - very well-blended.

In bottle: Smoky and musky on top of florals.

 

On me: Clean, wet floral. Some incense and plum.

In bottle: Can't really smell much of anything.

 

On me: Almost nonexistant, but mostly grasses.

In bottle: Almost all rose.

 

On me: Still mostly rose, with just a hint of lily underneath. Very little musk.

In bottle: Rancid tobacco...

 

On me: Little bit better. Now it's slightly sweet, but still mostly tobacco.

In bottle: Very metallic. Tingles my nose.

 

On me: Smells like something burning in the distance. Not really great as a perfume, but interesting.

In bottle: Ethereal is a good description here. Vaguely cedar but something else.

 

On me: Mmm...cedar and other woodsy scents. I think I would love this on my girlfriend.

In bottle: Very foody, but in the savory family rather than the sweet. Does have a blood-like quality to it.

 

On me: Very passionate and very musky. Mostly spice and musk.

In bottle: Slightly citrus men's cologne.

 

On me: Men's cologne, but softer than I would have expected - lots of lilac and vanilla. Leather and lemon are kind of muted. Moderately musky.

In bottle: Slightly foody on top of florals with some musk.

 

On me: Ooh, I like! Getting a *lot* of dragon's blood. This is a very warm scent, medium musk. Slightly herbal, and thank god the orange peel is staying relatively quiet.

In bottle: Adult woman's sexy perfume. Florals, but deeper.

 

On me: Musky dark florals. Pretty good.

In bottle: Soft and delicate, but no specifics.

On me: A very clean amber with some soft mutings of cedar and heliotrope underneath.

In bottle: Spicy, almost foody.

 

On me: Still fairly spicy, almost cinnamon-like - maybe the saffron? Either way, I like it.

In bottle: Pretty florals and cucumber.

 

On me: Orris is coming out too strong here, and that's a note that never agrees with me. Shame.
