  1. In dramatic contrast to the soft innocence of Snow White and the dew-kissed freshness of her sister, Rose Red, this is a blood red, voluptuous rose, velvet-petaled, at the height of bloom. Haughty and imperious, vain, yet incomparably lovely to the eye, but thick with thorns of jealousy, pride and hatred.

This is the Peacock Queen we all know and love, in hair gloss form!  It’s a dark, lush, and velvety red rose.  Simple, classy, and elegant.  I was in need of a rose-y gloss, and this fits the bill perfectly.

  2. A sparkle of fiery warmth on a cold winter’s night.

This was fresher and brighter than I imagined it would be—like ginger candy with fresh cardamom grated on it, or like an artisanal ginger ale or ginger beer.  It’s a nice pick-me-up!

  3. A shimmering icicle, the exhalation of winter’s crystalline breath.

This hair gloss takes the prize for BPTP Yule 2018, in my humble opinion.  It’s a beautiful sweet, pillowy-soft snow, with a hint of ozone.  It smells like gentle vanilla with a hint of fresh laundry, like a sweeter and fluffier Boober.  My review notes are sprinkled with hearts.  💕

  4. has a parlor house at No. 16 East Thirteenth street. There are six lady boarders; but no interest whatever attaches to this house. Some of its visitors have asserted that its inmates are of a snobbish disposition.

    A superior tea rose chypre.

This is gorgeous. It is something between OLLA Eve and Chanel No. 5--classic, classy, elegant, and sexy. It's a beautiful woody, spicy tea rose. The tea rose is lush and velvety--not sharp or lemony. The effect is of a very smooth blend. It is superior, but in the way that Charlotte Wells in Harlots is superior--not overly snobby, but playful and spirited. I'm so happy that I took a chance on this.

  5. This smells exactly as described: mostly sugared mint with a touch of bourbon and a suggestion of citrus. I normally do not love mint, but the mint note here is super nice. It's tame and natural. Overall, this is cool, sweet, and refreshing. Spray this on Derby day! :)

  6. This scent is beautiful--I'm surprised it's not getting more love. To me it smells like sweet, warm rain with a hint of sea breeze. It's not sharp, ozoney, or cologney. It's gentle, soft, clean, sweet, natural, and beautiful. This is basically the aquatic scent of my dreams. :wub3:

  7. A pretty fruity floral! I smell a lot of orris which lends a breezy, ethereal quality, and plum blossom, which is pretty plummy (as in the fruit). This is a very fun and youthful blend. I have no idea what Malibu Musk smells like, as TTP mentions above, but this smells exactly like something that would be called Malibu Musk. :)

  8. Basically fruit roll-ups for your naughty bits: wild cherry and sugared up strawberry with hot pink peppercorn.

DO NOT ACTUALLY PUT THIS ON YOUR NAUGHTY BITS.

Fruity candy! Specifically, fruity gummy candy with maybe a hint of marshmallow? It’s reminding me heavily of a Lilith scent—maybe The Devil Will Work for Idle Hands or Battle Fairy in Training? The fruit note is also similar to what I get in Rajnbow Swirk. This is a fun and lighthearted fruity scent!

  9. Argh this is gorgeous! It’s like a refreshing summer time cocktail—sweet blueberry tempered with chilly lavender. I agree with sprout that it’s a scent for both day and night. It’s happy and pretty—sweet and refreshing!

  10. I love this one! It smells fresh and beachy—like a sea beeeze and sun warmed driftwood. The cucumber isn’t super cucumber-y, but blends very nicely to create the fresh breeze vibe. I will definitely be getting a bottle of this one—it will be great scent for summer!

  11. What we need, said Wednesday, suddenly, is snow. A good, driving, irritating snow. Think snow for me, will you?

    Huh?

Concentrate on making those cloudsthe ones over there, in the westmaking them bigger and darker. Think gray skies and driving winds coming down from the arctic. Think snow.

I dont think it will do any good.

Nonsense. If nothing else, it will keep your mind occupied, said Wednesday, unlocking the car. Kinkos next. Hurry up.

Snow, thought Shadow, in the passenger seat, sipping his hot chocolate. Huge, dizzying clumps and clusters of snow falling through the air, patches of white against an iron-gray sky, snow that touches your tongue with cold and winter, that kisses your face with its hesitant touch before freezing you to death. Twelve cotton-candy inches of snow, creating a fairy-tale world, making everything unrecognizably beautiful . . .

Snow, thought Shadow. High in the atmosphere, perfect, tiny crystals that form about a minute piece of dust, each a lacelike work of fractal art. And the snow crystals clump together into flakes as they fall, covering Chicago in their white plenty, inch upon inch . . .

    Snow upon snow upon snow.

I'm very happy to have this bottle in the middle of summer! My favorite thing to do in the heat is to spray down my bed linens with cool-scented atmos (The Cemetery, Many Years Ago is probably my favorite to use for this purpose), and Think Snow For Me is going to be excellent. Most of what I get is the cold minty kind of snow note. This snow note usually doesn't play nicely on my skin, but it's a wonderful scent that makes for an excellent room/linen spray. Backing up the cold minty snow is that lovely soft sweet snow note. It's reminding me of Go to Sleep Darlings (from several Yules ago). Overall, this spray is lovely, and I'd say it's a must have if you love snow scents.
  12. Ranger

I love Ranger. It's a beautiful deep woodsy/evergreen scent that isn't overly sharp or masculine. It's very natural, peaceful, and calming. I love to wear it to bed, when I'm cozy at home, and when I'm playing my night elf hunter on WoW. :)
