  1. Huh! I did not expect to like this one—I’m not a fan of caramel because it tends to be so cloying (the candy and the scent), so I would not have selected this for myself. It’s super nice though! It’s not cloying—it’s a surprisingly mature chocolate scent. It sort of smells like the fanciest of s’mores being made at a cozy, roaring campfire. The Belgian chocolate is creamy and luxe, and the scorched note is wonderful.

  2. This reminds me of something that I’ve smelled before, but I can’t put my finger on it. It’s beautiful—perfect for spring. It is very green as the review above mentioned, with a kiss of elegance from the amber. The florals are few-soaked in a carpet of lush green. The greenness is not soapy or sharp to my nose—it’s just right and lovely. This is a natural sort of scent, but would also be at home in a fancy perfumery, if that makes sense.

  3. This is lovely! A beautiful peach scent for spring. It’s definitely white peach—kinda nectarine-ish and not super ripe. The honey and cream are not overwhelming or cloying—they lend a sort of nectar sweetness. At times I get a whiff of something that is almost bubblegummy. Beautiful.

  4. Whoa. This was not on my radar at all because I don’t love liqueurs, but I sniffed one of the bottles I picked up for my decant circle and it’s really gorgeous. It smells like high dollar chocolate. It’s smooth but also has that “bite” that fancy cacao often has. It’s mostly rich, dark, and fudgey. I don’t really get a lot of the liqueur, but if I think about it I can smell a thread of syrupy sweetness tying the whole thing together. If you like rich chocolate scents, I highly recommend this one. I imagine it will be like bathing in a vat of the real thing!

  5. This is glorious. It's exactly what it says on the tin--white petals dipped in the sugar. The white petals are of the heady, waxy variety--like magnolia, tuberose, jasmine, maybe a hint of gardenia. With time they become more creamy and less overtly sugary, reminding me a lot of NAVA's Ghost Velvet blend. Gorgeous.

  6. This smells like sunshine on clean linens. It’s clean, bright, snuggly, and comforting. I put it on before bed when I was in a foul mood, and it made me feel much better. I do wish I got some of the jasmine, but otherwise it’s a lovely scent.

  7. Well, this is lovely! A very pretty rose musk, that I think will work for people who can't typically wear rose. It's hazy and musky (for lack of a better description). The cherry is really prominent at first, but then melds into the musk seamlessly to create a candied rose musk scent. The cherry note is the awesome one that the Lab has been using recently--it's bright red and candied and doesn't go funky or cough drop-y. This one smells more like cotton candy than Gynotize! to me. This is a fun, pretty, and youthful scent.

  8. Yessss, this is just the sort of scent I like. It's a touch foodie, a touch tropical, a touch aquatic. Just right. The salt keeps this from being too sweet, the coconut note is dry and sun-baked, and the almond milk is gently creamy. Throw is pretty potent, and longevity is 👍. This one's a winner in my book.

  9. This is so beautiful. Lovers of sugared patchouli and sticky sweet resin scents are going to love this one. The shea note is so beautiful--creamy, sweet, and a bit reminiscent of Obatala. I don't smell a ton of cardamom or pecan, but this is a nearly-foody resin and patchouli scent. It's like a comforting hug from someone who loves to bake. I would snuggle with Penny Rolle forever. ❤️

Edit: I do smell the pecans in the beginning! Smells like a sweet roll with pecans when wet. :)

  10. At first, this is pine resin heavy with a hint of white floral, but the floral notes come out more as it dries and it is gorrrrgeous.  Oh my.  I agree with zee zee that the final effect of this one is that of a real magnolia, wet with a little dew.  The pine resin in the end is really more of a suggestion, like a scent on a breeze.
