I'm about halfway done with designing an Access database - although I have really given myself a challenge with it. I am trying to create something to track inventory, orders, swaps, eBay transactions, feedback, reviews, switch witch, TAL, BPTP and just about anything else - including adding in other retailers and additional products. It's a monster, but it's a good brushup experience for me. I am also not used to working in Access. I also want to put a front end on it using .NET and possibly make it web-enabled, so one could use it online. But that's a ways off.

 

Right now I'd be happy if I get the standalone Access database working properly.

It's been a long while since I worked with Access, so I probably wouldn't be quite so ambitious off the bat Let me know if you get it working though! I think it would be a fun project to take on, even if it took a while to complete. I'm just now starting, so I have a ton to do. I'd like to go for something simple, then add on additional tables and forms as I need them.

Now I'm inspired to go make a database I'll let ya'll know if that actually happens!

about 2 weeks ago, i ordered 7 imps from bpal, and i went to "imps ears" and placed an order by clicking "buy 6" and then added the additional imp to the "cart" list thingy... it had the option of paying with paypal, so thats what i did.

they havnt arrived yet, and the other day i looked at "welcome" on bpal, and it said:

"IF YOU ARE PAYING VIA PAYPAL, please do NOT use our online credit card processor. Place your order through PayPal using the payment address paypal [at] blackphoenixalchemylab "

... i think i might have screwed up by ordering ON the bpal site, rather than going to paypal and sending the money to them...

did i screw up? if so, is there anything i can do to fix it;?

I just totally did the same thing I SOOO want to fix it, but I haven't heard back from bpal and I don't know where my order went. I don't know if they got the payment, or if CCNow just absorbed it. I saw all the warnings, but I didn't quite understand them, since I still paid through paypal. It's only looking back that I realize how badly I screwed up. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? Did I just throw my money away? Did bpal even get my order? It was my first ever, only two packs of imps, but I was really excited about it
