  1. I have a lonely imp I aquired through a sale and decided to be decadent and wear it tonight...just because.

This is going to sound weird but I smell coffee initially. Then the ginger comes out. Kind of spicy. It's a lovely scent but not one I'll go crazy searching for more of, especially at the prices I've seen! I'll keep the imp though :P

  2. This one is really bumming me out. I smell NOTHING. I stuck my nose up close to the bottle...nothing. I put some on my skin...nada. I checked the imp and can see by looking straight down inside that it's not even half way full (boo for me since I just won this on ebay in a lot of 12 other imps). When I turn the bottle over it looks gloppy, doesn't flow well. I'm wondering if whoever decanted (i'm not blaming the person I bought this from, it might be whoever she got it from) this was unscrupulous because honestly, this might as well be labeled "air".

I wonder if anyone else had an issue with this one...maybe my nose is just missing every note. I'm going to keep my eye on this thread to see if anyone else ran into this problem.

  3. My oh my...if you like strawberry smells, THIS IS FOR YOU. First smell, strawberries and cream....and that's how it stayed for me the entire time. Pure heaven. Soft and delicious. There is nothing obnoxious or heavy about this scent. I can't imagine anyone not liking it...unless you don't like strawberries of course :P

  4. Honey usually equals *no* for me and when I first applied this oil I thought "uh-oh" because I got the "O" smell (which on me smells like gym socks.)

However something wonderful happened...as it started drying down it blossomed into this amazing, powdery, flowery smell. The honey took a back seat. I'm REALLY liking this one a lot. See...just an example of how you think you might not like something and then it turns beautiful

  5. DCCCXC (890)

In the bottle: It smells a lot like the Red Queen. I smell Cherries...sugary cherries jubilee baking on the fire.

Once applied: it softens to a powdery sweet boozy almost plum smell. There is a slight spice I can't pick out. I love it! It started off a tad strong but softened up really nicely

I wanted to add: the drydown was AMAZING. It morphed into a almondy vanilla cherry soft powdery smell. I can't stop smelling my wrist...this is so addicting. I wish I ordered more. I hope Beth does this again

Another edit: I did a swap with someone else and got her feedback regarding my CT3 which I didn't even catch...brown sugar. She's right! Once applied it does get a brown sugary smell to it. I am really in love with my CT :P

  6. My second imp decapitation of the evening...I should probably throw in the towel for tonight. Its a good thing Snake Oil smells heavenly, as it's everywhere...and hey, it mixes well with The Red Queen (the other imp catastrophe of the evening)

It smells like amber to me...which = love :P Yummy and pleasant. I can see why it's so popular

  7. I just read the previous reviews and dont smell O at all. I smell a lovely soft rose, some cherries combined with a powdery softness to it. This is such a lovely scent, probably need a big bottle of this one

  8. Well, I just had the imp decapitate so I have Red Queen all over my desk. I smell cherries. It smells wonderful Once it hits my skin it gets a little smoky and that's where it goes wrong for me...if only the cherries stayed. I like it but not enough to upgrade. I'll definitely keep my poor imp though

  9. This was a frimp and one I would have never tried. Thank goodness I did...this is amazing! It smells like it has a slight mint undertone, a slight powder overtone, and gorgeous amber and flowers in between. I can't stop smelling my wrist and must upgrade this to a bottle. I'd put this in my top 10 for sure

  10. White Light is a MUST HAVE. I received my bottle today but had an imp that I had been working with for a while. I like to put it on at night to clear my mind of that internal headache chatter that goes on while waiting to fall asleep. It works. I like to put it on my palms and breath the scent in while envisioning a white protective light slowly work it's way from the top of my head down to my toes. It helps bring on a relaxing sleep and I don't just lay there worrying about everything that happened earlier that day. Now that I have my bottle I'm going to start putting some on in the morning as well. TAL oils are amazing.

Scent-wise...it's a lovely, light, unassuming blend that does what it needs to do :P

  11. I bought this one for non-smell purposes only but I'm so happy to report that, as a bonus, it also smells really nice. I just started working with it today so the only thing I can offer as of yet is a smell review...

There is a slight spice to it but not enough to make you turn your nose. Beautiful flowers keep the spice in check. I didn't smell the dragon's blood. To me it's warm and calming and has a zing. Lovely.

  12. I have a sample of this and can't wait to order a full bottle from the TAL lab. Scent-wise, this is, hands down, my favorite fragrance. It's pure joy and peace in a bottle. Soft, powdery and calming.

The best part is, like the other TAL oils I've been fortunate enough to try, IT WORKS! You can't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness while wearing it

  13. I LOVE it. Another lovely clean, watery scent. It's sweet, but not sticky, sickly sweet. It has a GREAT throw to it...you don't have to slather. And it has a floral side that counters the fruit and makes it into one luscious yum-fest. I wish I had found BPAL in time to order this myself. Must find a bottle!

  14. I know this has honey...I got that sweat smell again :P This one was OK. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. I'll keep the imp. If only my body didn't hate the honey. Once I get a whiff of that it's hard to smell anything else. Although I think I smell flowers...maybe carnations
